BUILDING-WALL FLEXIBLE CLADDING
A method of manufacturing building-wall flexible cladding (12) for a wall of a building so that a cladding outer surface of the building-wall flexible cladding (12) matches or substantially matches a textured wall surface of the wall of the building. This is first achieved by selecting the wall to be modelled (S101) and forming an impression of the wall (S102). An absorbent flexible substrate (18) is provided (S103), and a wet mixture (24) created (S105) and applied to the substrate (18, S106) to form one or more tiles (24a). The wet mixture (24) is textured by applying the impression so that the cladding outer surface corresponds or substantially corresponds to the said textured wall surface (S108). Finally, the textured wet mixture is cured (S109).
SURFACE COVERING PRODUCTION METHOD USING DIGITAL PRINTING
A method of producing a decorative surface covering comprises generating one or more synthetic images. The generation of these images includes arranging local prototype motifs characteristic of a material to be mimicked in a random manner and generating or preserving continuity between the local prototype motifs in such a way as to yield globally an appearance of the material to be mimicked, digitally printing one or more synthetic images on a printing substrate, and assembling the printing substrate with one or more backing layers and/or one or more transparent top layers so as to form the decorative surface covering.
Actinic radiation cured polyurethane coating for decorative surface coverings
The present invention is related to decorative surface coverings, in particular floor or wall coverings, exhibiting low VOC emission, comprising one or more adjacent plasticized polyvinyl chloride layers and a polyurethane top-layer, said top-layer being obtained from the actinic irradiation of an aqueous ethylenically unsaturated polyurethane dispersion after evaporation of the water part. The decorative surface coverings comprise a mechanical embossed textured and/or patterned structure.
Decorated Surface-Structured Wall Or Floor Panel
A decorated and surface-structured wall or floor panel comprises a carrier made of a plastic composite material, a primer layer disposed on a surface of the carrier, a decorative layer disposed on the primer layer, a layer of a radiation-curable varnish disposed on the decorative layer, a structured plastic film disposed on the layer of a radiation-curable varnish, and a topcoat layer disposed on the structured plastic film. The carrier comprises a plastic-containing matrix material in which a fibre mineral material is embedded.
Decorated surface-structured wall or floor panel
The disclosure relates to a decorated, surface-structured wall or floor panel and a method for manufacturing same. The decorated, surface-structured wall or floor panel of the disclosure comprises a substrate made of a plastic composite material, a primer coat on a surface of the substrate, a decorative coat on the primer coat, a coat of radiation-curable varnish on the decorative coat, a structured plastic film on the coat of radiation-curable varnish, and a coat of finishing varnish on the structured plastic film.
DIGITAL EMBOSSING OF DECORATIVE SURFACE COVERINGS
A method for producing a decorative surface covering comprises providing a structural core (10), including one or more core layers (12), the structural core carrying a decor layer (25) representing a two-dimensional decor, and generating a three-dimensional surface relief (30) by digitally embossing, in register with the two-dimensional decor. The three-dimensional surface relief is generated at a distance of at least 0.1 mm from the decor layer by applying a transparent or at least translucent spacer layer (28) against the decor layer, the spacer layer having a thickness that remains unmodified by the digital embossing and that corresponds to the distance. The three-dimensional surface relief is generated in one or more coating layers (30a, 30b) on a side of the spacer layer facing away from the decor layer after application of the spacer layer against the decor layer.
Printed decorative floor or wall coverings
The present invention is related to printed floor or wall coverings comprising one or more polymer layer(s) and a print obtained by ink composition printing directly on at least one surface of said one or more polymer layer(s), said polymer layer(s) comprising a polyvinyl chloride homo- and/or copolymer in a blend with one or more polymer(s) selected from the group consisting of the homo- or copolymers of one or more vinyl alkanoate(s), the copolymers comprising one or more alkenes and one or more vinyl alkanoate(s), the copolymers comprising one or more alkyl (meth)acrylates, and mixtures of said homo- and/or copolymers.
COVERING ELEMENT, METHOD FOR DECORATING A COVERING ELEMENT, AND MACHINE FOR DECORATING A COVERING ELEMENT
Set comprising a plurality of covering elements for floors and/or walls, wherein each covering element comprises an upper surface having a pattern and at least one distressed upper edge, wherein at least two covering elements of the set comprises substantially the same pattern, and wherein the shape of the distressed upper edge differs in each covering element of the set.
Kit of Decorative Wall Panels and Enclosures Made Thereof
There is described a shower enclosure and kit of walls therefor. The kit of decorative wall panels comprise a first wall panel including a front face, the front face of the first wall panel defining a first decorative pattern and including a relief element, a second wall panel including a front face, the front face of the second wall panel defining a second decorative pattern, and a connecting assembly for connecting the first wall panel adjacent to the second wall panel. The first decorative pattern of the first wall panel and the second decorative pattern of the second wall panel are configured to counteract a visual distortion caused by the relief element of the first wall panel when the first wall panel is adjacent to the second wall panel.
Surface covering production method using digital printing
A method of producing a decorative surface covering comprises generating one or more synthetic images.
