TRANSPARENT LIQUID HAIR MASK WITH CONSISTENCY TRANSFORMATION AND IMMEDIATE EFFECT DURING APPLICATION
The present disclosure relates to a hair care composition comprising: at least one monohydric alcohol, at least one polyhydric alcohol, at least one long chain fatty alcohol, at least one quaternary ammonium salt, at least one emollient, and at least one medium chain triglyceride. The present disclosure also provides a method comprising the steps of: bringing the hair care composition into contact with preferably wet or damp hair of a human or animal, in particular long scalp hair of a human, optionally working in and/or massaging to enhance the contact with the hair, optionally waiting for a certain contact time, and rinsing the hair, preferably with an aqueous liquid, in order to terminate or at least reduce further exposure to the hair care composition, as well as a use of the hair care composition for caring for preferably wet or moist hair of a human being or anima.
TRANSPARENT LIQUID HAIR MASK WITH TRANSFORMING APPEARANCE FOR A LIGHTWEIGHT APPLICATION
A hair care composition is disclosed. The hair care composition is formulated to present as a single-phase liquid, typically transparent and clear, and comprises at least one polyhydric alcohol at least one polyethylene glycol, at least one monohydric alcohol, and at least one quaternary ammonium salt. A method of treating hair (e.g. human hair) is also disclosed. The method includes contacting the hair with the hair care composition for an exposure time (e.g. from about 1 second to about 3 minutes), and then rinsing the hair (e.g. with water) to stop or reduce the contact and exposure of the hair to the hair care composition. The method may include working in and/or massaging the composition into the hair during the exposure time to enhance the contacting.
Keratin fiber dyeing composition
Disclosed are hair-colouring compositions comprising an oxidative dye and an alkalising agent consisting of isopropanolamine and a malic acid diester. The compositions according to the invention, due to synergic effects between isopropanolamine and the malic acid diester, are advantageous, because they lighten the hair by up to four levels, do not have an unpleasant odour, and limit the damage caused to the hair, maintaining its integrity and consequently its natural characteristics of elasticity, shine and combability.
COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING KERATIN FIBERS
Compositions for treating keratin fibers are described. Said compositions comprise, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: (a) at least one film-forming amino-silicone polymer selected from Polysilicone-35, Polysilicone-33, Polysilicone-29, Polysilicone-28, Polysilicone-25, Polysilicone-24, Polysilicone-22, Polysilicone-19, Polysilicone-18, Polysilicone-14, Polysilicone-3, and mixtures thereof; and (b) at least one silane derivative of a hydrolyzed protein or peptide or amino acid. These compositions provide an anti-frizz effect to hair while reinforcing and repairing hair as well as protecting hair during heat treatments (heat-protection). A process for treating keratin fibers using these compositions and the use of these compositions for protecting keratin fibers from heat damage are also described.
Compositions Comprising Natural Polymers and One or More (Bio)-Alkanediols
The present invention relates to a cosmetic or pharmaceutical, preferably dermatological, composition or a homecare product comprising or consisting of a natural polymer and an effective amount of 1,2-heptanediol and/or 2,3-heptanediol or of a specific alkanediol or a mixture of two or more different specific alkanediols and said compositions for personal care, as a pharmaceutical, for animal care or for homecare. Additionally, the present invention relates to the use of 1,2-heptanediol and/or 2,3-heptanediol or of a specific alkanediol or a mixture of two or more different specific alkanediols in an effective amount for reducing antimicrobial load of a natural polymer and/or as an antimicrobial replacer. Finally, the present invention relates to a method for reducing antimicrobial load of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition or homecare product comprising a natural polymer.
Cosmetic compositions for protection against air pollutants
Disclosed is the use of cosmetic compositions comprising an oak extract, a grape seed extract and a green tea extract to protect the skin, scalp, hair and external mucosa against air pollutants.
AQUEOUS CONDITIONING COSMETIC COMPOSITION, COSMETIC PRODUCTS, METHOD OF REPAIR AND PROTECTION OF HAIR PROPERTIES, AND, USE OF A COSMETIC PRODUCT
The present invention relates to conditioning cosmetic compositions comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium, non-ionic surfactants and cationic polymers. In particular, these compositions are reserved for applications to hair with or without rinsing. In addition, the compositions concern methods of repair, protection, and improvement of hair properties. Additionally, the present invention relates to cosmetic products comprising such cosmetic compositions, such as shampoos, conditioners and hair treatment products, as well as the use thereof.
Peptide composition and respective uses
The present invention provides a composition that comprises at least one peptide with a sequence length of 6-12 amino acids, where 2-5 of those amino acids are cysteines for the treatment of the hair, including animal and human hair, without the use of chemicals harmful to the hair fiber and consumer health and uses of said compositions in shampoo, lotion, serum, cream, conditioner, foam, elixir, oil, aerosol or mask.
PROCESS FOR TREATING KERATIN MATERIALS USING A FLAVIN DERIVATIVE, A POLYMERIZABLE MOLECULE AND LIGHT RADIATION
The present invention relates to a process for treating keratin materials, especially human keratin fibers, comprising the application of a composition comprising i) at least one flavin derivative and ii) at least one polymerizable molecule, preferably a photopolymerizable molecule, and at least one step of exposing said materials to artificial or natural light radiation, in particular for caring for and/or repairing the keratin materials.
HAIR TREATMENT FORMULATIONS AND USES THEREOF
The present application relates to hair treatment formulations and methods of use in the cosmetics field. The hair treatment formulations include bis(2-ethylhexyl) maleate as the active agent, and may be used in bleaching, conditioning and styling hair.
