Growth promoting peptides, and uses thereof
A natural peptide comprising a cellular growth promoting fragment of a protein selected from SEQ ID NOs: 1 to 13, and a composition comprising a plurality of growth promoting peptides, is described. Also disclosed is the use of the peptides and compositions in prevention of ageing of human skin, treatment of diseases or conditions characterised by damaged epithelial cells or tissue such as colon cancer and peripheral inflammatory disorders, and wound treatment. Specific pea and rice protein derived peptides are described in SEQ ID NOs: 15 to 505, and 546 to 704.

COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SILYMARIN AND SULFOALKYL ETHER CYCLODEXTRIN AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Cosmetic and dietary supplement compositions containing silymarin and sulfoalkyl ether cyclodextrin, particularly sulfobutyl ether cyclodextrin, are described. The compositions and methods are useful in reducing appearance of facial redness in rosacea-prone skin, rejuvenating skin, preventing skin aging, inhibiting oxidative stress in epidermal and dermal cells, increasing collagen production, reducing the likelihood of skin cancer, treating or reducing liver damage from a toxin, or treating a liver disease.

OXYGEN GENERATING FACE MASKS
A composition for healing or improving skin includes a fabric or material impregnated with an oxygen generating material. The fabric may include a first side in contact with the skin for providing oxygen to the skin and a second side between the oxygen generating material and the air surrounding the skin to form a barrier for retaining heat and inhibiting evaporation.
METHOD FOR COSMETIC TREATMENT BY COMBINED ILLUMINATION AND APPLICATION OF A COMPOSITION COMPRISING NIACINAMIDE, AND ASSOCIATED DEVICE
The non-therapeutic cosmetic treatment method includes at least: —applying an active composition including at least niacinamide onto the skin of a subject, and—illuminating the skin using at least one light source emitting at a wavelength of between 620 and 690 nanometres, preferably 660 nanometres, the illumination being carried out before, at the same time as or after the application of the composition. A device is configured for implementing such a method.
STEM CELL STIMULATING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
The inventive subject is directed towards ready-to-use topical cosmetic formulations that include at least one defensin present in sub-antimicrobially effective concentrations. Surprisingly, even at such low concentrations, defensins recruit LGR6+ stem cells from hair follicles to the interfollicular space. Including defensins in the inventive topical cosmetic formulations may reduce one or more of wrinkle depth, wrinkle length, wrinkle width, pore size, irregularity in texture of a skin surface, oiliness, brown spots, and red spots in non-injured skin, thus reducing apparent age.

A CREAM COMPOSITION WITH HERBAL EXTRACT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a cream composition with herbal extract for the face, body, hand, foot and joint developed to be used in the cosmetic industry for the treatment of skin diseases, aging, joint pain, wrinkles and various wounds, and to the production method thereof. The cream composition includes at least one of bee venom, propolis, royal jelly and honey as active ingredients, water, stearyl alcohol, acholine GC, lipex shealight, jojoba oil, bentonite, shea butter, beeswax, hydrogenated lecithin or olive oil as other ingredients. A disclosed production method includes the steps of heating the oil phase, cooling the oil phase, adding the bee venom phase, homogenization and adding propolis.
BIOCOMPATIBLE PHOTOTHERMAL COMPOSITION FOR TREATMENT OF CANCER AND SKIN DISEASES
The present invention relates to a biocompatible photothermal composition that can be used in various fields including the treatment of cancer and skin diseases.
