Assembly for a cover of a vehicle roof, and vehicle roof for a motor vehicle
An assembly for a vehicle roof cover, wherein the cover can be moved from a closed position for closing a roof opening into an open position for at least partially releasing the roof opening. The assembly may have: a cover carrier for carrying the cover, a positionally fixed guide rail, and a carriage mounted so as to be displaceable in the guide rail along an opening direction. The cover carrier has a positionally fixed slotted guide to which the carriage may be coupled in the closed position, such that a deployment of the cover along a vertical direction (Z direction) is blocked in the closed position. The cover carrier has a locking apparatus configured so that a movement of the cover carrier along the vertical direction (Z direction) is limited in the closed position.
Vehicle roof having an adjustable cover
A vehicle roof having a cover which is movably mounted on the vehicle roof by a bearing mechanism and is adjustable between a closed and a ventilation position in which at least the rear cover edge is raised, the cover being adjustable by the bearing mechanism in such a way that, in the closed position of the cover, the rear cover edge assumes a defined vertical position relative to a roof area portion which adjoins the roof opening or the cover in the region of the rear cover edge, wherein, according to the invention, the cover in its closed position rests on at least one supporting element which is held fixedly on the roof side in a position central with respect to the roof opening and below the rear cover edge and which supporting element holds the cover in its defined vertical position relative to the roof area portion.
Sliding roof system for a motor vehicle
A sliding roof system for a motor vehicle comprises a front lifting mechanism and a rear lifting mechanism which are assigned to a front and a rear edge respectively of a cover of the sliding roof system, as well as a connecting element which is arranged between the front and the rear lifting mechanisms. The rear lifting mechanism includes a lifting carriage with at least one lifting slotted guide, a lifting lever which is pivotably attached with one end to a fixed bearing and the other end of which has a guide element for the cover, and a translating lever which is pivotably connected to the lifting lever between its ends, wherein the translating lever is coupled to the lifting carriage by means of two sliders.
SUNROOF DRIVE APPARATUS AND RELATED SUNROOF ASSEMBLIES FOR USE WITH VEHICLES
Sunroof drive apparatus and related sunroof assemblies for use with vehicles are disclosed. A disclosed assembly includes a sunroof panel, a rail, a guide block attached to part of the rail, a bracket beneath the sunroof panel, a link in the rail removably connected to the guide block, and a drive shoe in the rail slidably coupled to the link. The drive shoe includes first and second slots to receive respective first and second pins of the link. The link can rotate about a rotation axis from a first orientation in which the link is inseparable from the guide block to a target orientation in which the link is separable from the guide block. When the first pin enters a locking area at an end of the first slot, the drive shoe imparts one or more loads on the first pin that urge the link into the target orientation.
SUNROOF DEVICE
A sunroof device includes a rear link that slides along a longitudinal direction of a guide rail in conjunction with a slide member and moves up and down a rear end side of a movable panel by tilting in conjunction with the sliding of the slide member. Further, the rear link is provided with an engaging protrusion protruding in a width direction of the guide rail, and the guide rail is provided with a link engaging portion that regulates, by arranging the engaging protrusion inside, tilting of the rear link in a rising direction. The link engaging portion includes an upwardly opened cutout portion provided in the guide rail, and a metallic engaging bracket having an upper wall portion covering a topside of the cutout portion by being fixed to the guide rail. The engaging protrusion includes a metallic shaft body, and a resin layer covering the shaft body.
SUNROOF DEVICE
To provide a sunroof device with a simple structure, in which an elastic member can be disposed in a predetermined position accurately and with excellent workability, a sunroof device includes a plate-shaped panel stay having a cam groove on a first side surface and a slider provided with a cam follower pin engaging with the cam groove to cause the movable roof panel to tilt. The slider includes a slider main body having a pin support wall that supports the cam follower pin in a cantilever manner and a contact member mounted to the slider main body so as to slidably contact a second side surface of the panel stay. The contact member includes an extension part opposing a bottom surface of the panel stay, and an elastic member that elastically supports the panel stay when the movable roof panel undergoes opening and closing motion is provided on the extension part.
Roof system for a vehicle
A roof system for a vehicle having a roof opening in a roof part thereof, comprises a closure which is movable by an operating mechanism including at least a guide rail extending in a longitudinal direction of the roof system. A slide which is slidable in the guide rail cooperates at least with a closure support. The slide comprises a body and at least two curves provided in the body and each cooperating with at least a cam. The cams are provided on at least the closure support and the curves have such extent that they cross each other between their ends. The curves are arranged in substantially parallel walls of the body of the slide that face away from each other.
Glazed panel with a polymer periphery, reinforcement armatures and securing armatures
A glazed panel includes a glass panel, two longitudinal reinforcement armatures in order to reinforce the glass panel against deformations by flexure, and two longitudinal securing armatures in order to secure the glazed panel in an outer structure provided for this purpose. The armatures can be overmolded in a polymer material which is arranged on the periphery of the glass panel. The two reinforcement armatures and the two securing armatures are joined in pairs by their longitudinal ends in order to form a frame by means of an assembly by nesting, optionally using an intermediate part. This measure makes it possible to reduce the concentrations of stresses in the corners of the glass panel, and simplifies the molding operation during the production of the glazed panel.
Open roof construction for a vehicle
An open roof construction for a vehicle having at least one opening in the fixed roof, includes a stationary part for attachment to the roof. It carries at least two guide rails alongside the roof opening. At least one closure having a front and a rear side is supported by an operating mechanism guided on the guide rails. The closure is adjustable between a closed position, in which it closes the roof opening, and an open position in which it is at least partly moved out of the roof opening. The operating mechanism includes at least one first support member adjustably supporting the closure near its front side, and at least adjustable second support members adjustably supporting the closure a distance behind the front side. Each support member includes two separate drive sources to be able to adjust each support member independently in horizontal and vertical direction.
Slider unit and roof system
A slider unit for a roof system of a motor vehicle has a slide body and a mounting unit which has a recess in which the slide body is accommodated. The slide body is mounted in the mounting unit such that, relative to the mounting unit, the slide body is movable in at least two directions in each case limited to a predefined distance and/or is pivotable about two axes limited to a predefined angle.
