SEAT OF A VEHICLE
A seat of a vehicle having: a base structure, which is rigid and is configured to be fixed to a floorboard of the vehicle; and an upholstery, which is elastically deformable, covers the base structure and constitutes the outermost part of the seat that comes into contact with a body of a passenger of the seat. The upholstery has a replaceable component, which is fixed to the base structure a separable manner by means of a coupling system having a first fixing element integral to the base structure and a second fixing element, which is configured to be coupled to the first fixing element and is integral to the replaceable component. A fixing element has at least one cavity and a first magnet, which is arranged close to the cavity and the other fixing element has an appendage, which is shaped so as to be inserted into the cavity and has a second magnet, which is arranged close to the appendage and is configured to be magnetically attracted by the first magnet.
SEAT ELEMENT AND VEHICLE SEAT
A seat element for a vehicle seat may be formed from two molded bodies arranged one on top of the other. The seat element may have a plurality of separate fastening elements for fastening at least one attachment part to the seat element. The two molded bodies may be arranged in a contact-fitting manner in relation to one another and the separate fastening elements may be mechanically and detachably fastenable or fastened to at least one of the molded bodies. A vehicle seat having the at seat element is also provided.
SEAT ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly comprising a cushion including a first surface, a second surface, and a through aperture extending from the first surface to the second surface; a trim cover disposed on the first surface; a trim wire detachably connected to the second surface; and a coupling connecting the trim cover to the trim wire.
Support element for a vehicle seat, associated vehicle seat and assembly method
A support element for a vehicle seat, the support element including: a shell, a cover mounted on the shell, the cover defining a front surface for receiving a passenger, and a rear surface opposite the front surface, and a padding arranged between the shell and the cover. The cover has a plurality of fastening loops fastened on the rear surface of the cover. The shell has a plurality of through-openings arranged substantially facing the fastening loops, the fastening loops passing through the through-openings and mechanically cooperating with the shell so as to keep the cover rigidly connected to the shell.
Cushion skin, seat cushion, and vehicle seat
In a cushion skin, left and right side surface skin front portions are fixed to a cushion frame of the seat cushion. The left and right side surface skin rear portions are respectively connected to the left and right side surface skin front portions, and each have a lower extending portion extending downward of the rear portion of the cushion pad. The connecting portion is disposed at the lower side of the rear portion of the cushion pad, and connects the distal end portions of each lower extending portion of the left and right side surface skin rear portions in the seat left-right direction. In each lower extending portion, a front side in the seat front-rear direction expands wider outward in the seat left-right direction than a rear side.
SEAT CUSHION, SEAT UNIT, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A seat cushion for a seat unit of a vehicle seat is disclosed. The seat cushion may be formed as a foamless seat cushion and may be characterized by an elastic seat support which is formed from a plurality of elastic cover units. The elastic cover units may each have two opposing and spaced apart flexible surfaces and a number of lever elements which movably connect the flexible surfaces to each other. The respective cover unit may have at least one associated fastening element for releasable fastening to the seat unit.
Seat for a vehicle
Seat for a vehicle and having: a base structure configured to be fixed to a floorboard of the vehicle; and a cover that covers the base structure and constitutes the outermost part of the seat. The cover has at least one reversible component which is fixed to the rest of the seat in a separable manner and has two opposite faces, each capable of being arranged outwards or, alternatively, inwards reversing the orientation of the reversible component.
Removable trim cover with headrest guide
A removable trim cover described herein includes a headrest guide to ensure alignment of the removable trim cover to the seat. In one embodiment, the removable trim cover includes a material body sized to cover a front face of a backrest of a seat. The material body has apertures forming a headrest guide. The headrest guide is adapted to align with headrest sleeves in the backrest. The removable trim cover also includes a first zipper portion, disposed around a border of the material body, adapted to be joined with a second zipper portion affixed to the backrest.
Seat trim tensioner
A vehicle seat includes a seat frame supporting a base cushion and an extendable cushion that moves relative to the base cushion. Textile material encloses the cushion assembly and includes a bridging segment that spans a space between the base cushion and the extendable cushion. A tensioner includes a roller that receives the segment of textile material wrapped around the roller. The roller rotates on a shaft relative to the seat frame about an axis of rotation. A return spring is connected to the roller and the shaft to exert a tensioning force on the segment of textile material. The return spring biases the segment of textile material to be rolled around the roller when retracting. The return spring resists extending and holds the segment of textile material in tension when the segment of textile material is extended.
SIMPLIFIED BASE TRIM COVER FOR SEAT WITH REMOVABLE TRIM COVER
A trim cover assembly structured to be applied to a backrest of a vehicle seat includes a base trim cover having a rear portion, first side portion extending from a first side of the rear portion, and a second side portion extending from a second side of the rear portion opposite the first side portion. Each side portion is structured to be wrappable along a respective side of the backrest. Each side portion also has a side edge structured to be securable to the backrest along a front face of the backrest. The base trim cover may be attached to the backrest using suitable fasteners (e.g., hog-rings, EZ clips, hook and loop tape, arrow-hooks, stitching, etc.) and conventional upholstery securement methods.
