Safety belt positioning and presentation systems

A system includes a first anchor that is disposed adjacent an upper portion of a seat back and that is selectively positionable between a first position on a first axis and a second position along the first axis. The system further includes a second anchor disposed adjacent a lower portion of the seat back. The second anchor is selectively coupled to the first anchor. The system further includes a third anchor disposed adjacent the lower portion of the seat back, the third anchor being selectively coupled to the second anchor and separated by a distance on a second axis from the second anchor. The first anchor, the second anchor, and the third anchor are jointly positionable when the second anchor is coupled to the first anchor and when the third anchor is coupled to the second anchor.

IMPACT ABSORBING DEVICE AND VEHICLE SEAT

An impact absorbing device for a vehicle seat includes: a first base member; a second base member; and an impact absorbing member. The first base member rotatably supports the second base member. The impact absorbing member includes: a first fixing portion fixed to the first base member; a second fixing portion fixed to the second base member; and a deformable portion. The deformable portion is provided between the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion, and is configured to be bent by the rotation of the second base member. A distance between the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion in an undeformed state of the deformable portion has a value intermediate in a range of variation of the distance that varies depending on the bending of the deformable portion.

Vehicle seat belt system

A vehicle seating system includes a vehicle floor, a seat supported by the vehicle floor, a retractor mounted to the vehicle floor beneath the seat, a webbing guide supported by the seat, and a webbing extending from the retractor through the webbing guide.

Vehicle seat with simultaneous control of the headrest and belt support

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle seat comprising a seating portion, a backrest with a front face and which extends in a main direction Z and which has a hole for the upward exit of a seat belt from the backrest and a support which the seat belt bears against in order to descend along the front face of the backrest, and a headrest mounted on the backrest and slidable relative to the rest of the backrest along the main direction Z. The support is slidable relative to the rest of the backrest along the main direction Z, and the seat comprises a drive mechanism capable of simultaneously causing the headrest to slide along the main direction for a first amplitude A1 and the support for a second amplitude A2 different from the first amplitude A1, and an actuator able to actuate the drive mechanism.

VEHICLE SEAT

A vehicle seat includes a seat pad, an insertion hole that passes through the seat pad, a covering portion that covers an inner wall of the insertion hole, a holding plate that holds a distal end of the covering portion, a buckle for a seat belt, and a support plate. In the vehicle seat, the buckle includes a buckle main body, a coupling portion, and an attachment member. The support plate is displaceable between a first state and a second state, the holding plate includes an insertion window portion, and the support plate includes a passage portion that allows the coupling portion to pass through the passage portion but does not allow the buckle main body to pass through the passage portion in a state where the support plate overlaps with the insertion window portion.

The right and left side frames 10 include side walls 11 disposed opposite to each other in a lateral direction, and flange portions (upper flange portions 12) respectively extending laterally inward from the side walls 11, and the elastic member is attached to the flange portions.

SEAT BELT DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
20200384945 · 2020-12-10 · ·

A seat belt device for a vehicle seat, having a seat belt, the belt tongue of which in an engaged state is releasably connected to a seat-side belt buckle. The belt buckle is guided via at least one wire rope through a sleeve-like deflection element, which defines the course of the wire rope between its connection point on the seat side and its connection point on the belt buckle side. The sleeve-like deflection element has a predetermined deformation point, at which the deflection element is deformed in the event of a head-on collision, more specifically with the belt buckle being displaced from its use position into a crash position in which the tilt or twist moments acting on the belt buckle are reduced.

Fixed structure seat

A vehicle seat includes a moveable structure supported by a fixed frame. The moveable structure includes a bottom portion configured to slide forward and rearward relative to the fixed frame, a back portion connected to the bottom portion and configured to both pivot and slide relative to the fixed frame, and an upper portion that, in some embodiments, is configured to rotate relative to the back portion.
