LIGHTING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE DECKLID
A vehicle notification system is disclosed. The system comprises a light generating layer conforming to a surface of a decklid configured to enclose a storage compartment. The light generating layer comprises a plurality of LEDs in a semiconductor ink operable to emit a first emission. The system further comprises a controller configured to selectively activate the plurality of LEDs in response to a first signal from a decklid ajar indicator and a second signal from an emergency lighting module.
Out-of-vehicle notification device
An out-of-vehicle notification device includes a moving person detecting unit configured to detect a moving person who is to be notified of information by means of light based on a result of detection performed by an outside situation detecting unit, a plurality of light emitting units, a light emission control unit configured to cause the light emitting units to emit light, and an operating state detecting unit configured to detect operating states of blinkers of the host vehicle. When an operation of the blinker is detected, the light emission control unit forbids light emission of the light emitting unit that is provided within a predetermined area around the blinker in operation.
LED light hood scoop for a jeep wrangler
The present invention provides a method of installing a hood scoop to a designated recessed area of a hood of a Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon vehicle comprising: providing the hood scoop having a protective member and a hood attachment member having a first cable access feature wherein: edge profile of the hood attachment member matches edge profile of the designated recessed area; the designated recessed area includes a hood aperture that provides access to the vehicle's electrical power and control systems; attaching the attachment member to the designated recessed area using conventional attachment means; and attaching a light fixture to the hood scoop wherein the light fixture's cables pass through the first cable access feature and the hood aperture for communication with the vehicle's electrical power and control systems. The present invention also provides the hood scoop described herein.
TRACTOR
A purpose of the invention is to provide a tractor that includes a rear lamp with high designability. A tractor of the present invention includes a rear lamp, a cabin, a lamp housing that is provided along a longitudinal direction of a rear pillar of the cabin, and a light source that is housed in the lamp housing, wherein the rear lamp is provided from a vicinity of one end to a vicinity of the other end of the rear pillar in the longitudinal direction.
STOP LAMP AND CARGO LAMP ASSEMBLY
A stop lamp and cargo lamp system comprises a circuit board; a stop lamp mounted on the circuit board; a first cargo lamp assembly including a first cargo lamp mounted on the circuit board and a first directional tube coupled to the first cargo lamp and formed a first downward angle with a surface of the circuit board; and a second cargo lamp assembly including a second cargo lamp mounted on the circuit board and a second directional tube coupled to the second cargo lamp and form a second downward angle with the surface of the circuit board, wherein the second downward angle is different from the first downward angle.
REAR TRUNK BUTTON LOCALIZATION FOR END USER
A system for identifying a location of an external vehicle feature on approach by a user of the vehicle is disclosed, comprising (1) a vehicle including a steering system, a drive system, a brake system, a processor, and memory; (2) a control module coupled to the processor and configured to receive a wireless communication from a mobile device indicative of a user's proximity to the vehicle; and (3) a brake module coupled to the control module and configured to illuminate a lighting device on receipt of the wireless communication to identify a location of the vehicle feature.
Extruded support members for facilitating access to a vehicle and related methods
Support devices and their components are disclosed, including an optional lighting element mountable on the support device for emitting light. The support device facilitates access to a vehicle and includes an elongate extruded support member, brackets for mounting the elongate extruded support member to a vehicle, and a step affixed to the elongate extruded support member. A mount can be provided and coupled to the lighting element and to the step to secure the lighting element to the step when the lighting element is incorporated.
LIGHTING MODULE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE COMPONENT AND A CONNECTOR WHICH ARE DISPOSED ON A HEAT DISSIPATER, AND LIGHTING DEVICE FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A MODULE
A module comprising an electronic component and an electrical connector that are interconnected by a printed circuit board that is fastened to a heat sink, the connector includes a housing, connection contacts and a bundle of wires, which are secured to the housing and respectively interconnected electrically. The housing is arranged on one side of the board such that the contacts pass through the board so as to emerge onto the other side and to be connected electrically there. The board is fastened to the heat sink by the side thereof bearing the contacts. The surface of the heat sink receives the board having a boss at least level with the contacts, so as to avoid electrical contact between the contacts and the heat sink.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR A SIGNAL INDICATOR LIGHT
A lighting module is shown and described having a housing with an opening therethrough. A forward portion of the opening may be enclosed by a cap and a rearward portion of the opening may be enclosed by a transparent media. A second media may extend from the opening through a wall of the housing. The cap may be securable to a bar via a mounting apparatus. A PCBA with one or more operational groups of LEDs may be secured within the opening, such that light may be emitted through the media. A second PCBA with one or more operational groups of LEDs may be secured within the opening, such that light may be emitted through the second media. Each operational group may be integrated with a control system of a vehicle, and may be operated individually or collectively. Each operational group may correspond to similar or different colors of light.
LAMP CONTROL DEVICE
A lamp control device includes a lamp including an LED module which has a plurality of LED channels; and a controller configured to detect respective feedback voltages of the plurality of LED channels, and determine, when at least any one feedback voltage among the feedback voltages is retained to be lower than a predetermined reference voltage and a generation count of an over voltage protection signal reaches a predetermined reference count, an LED channel corresponding to the feedback voltage, as an open.
