HEADLIGHT DEVICE AND LEANING VEHICLE INCLUDING HEADLIGHT DEVICE
A headlight device including a headlight configured to emit light frontward of a leaning vehicle to form a lower light beam, an upper central light beam, an upper left light beam and an upper right light beam, and a control device that controls light emission from the headlight without any user operation. The control device forms both the upper left and the upper right light beams while the leaning vehicle is traveling straight, and reduces a brightness of the upper left and upper right light beams, responsive to a vehicle being illuminated by the upper left and upper right light beams respectively, and forms the upper left and upper right light beams respectively while the leaning vehicle is turning left and right, and maintains the brightness of the formed upper left or upper right light beam regardless of whether any vehicle is illuminated by the upper left or upper right light beam.
Vehicular adaptive lighting control system
A vehicular lighting control system includes a controller configured to be disposed at a vehicle and operable to control interior lighting of the vehicle, with the interior lighting including (i) an interior light of the vehicle and/or (ii) a backlighting light of a display of the vehicle. The controller adjusts color of the interior lighting for different driving conditions. During daytime, the controller adjusts color of the interior lighting of the vehicle to follow a daytime color scheme. Responsive to a navigation input, the controller determines if an input destination has an estimated arrival time of the vehicle after daytime. Responsive to determination that the estimated arrival time of the vehicle is after daytime, the controller maintains the daytime color scheme for the interior lighting of the vehicle until the vehicle arrives at the input destination after daytime.
VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A method includes: recognizing a signal candidate position around a vehicle by using a sensor mounted on the vehicle, the signal candidate position being a position a traffic light is possibly present, the vehicle including a light configured in such a manner that a light distribution state of the light changes; and performing a first light control process of controlling the light in response to recognition of the signal candidate position, the first light control process including at least one of: increasing an intensity of light emitted to the signal candidate position to a value higher than before the recognition of the signal candidate position; or making the intensity of the light emitted to the signal candidate position higher than an intensity of light emitted to an area other than the signal candidate position.
System and method for adaptive driving beam headlamp
A lighting system for a local vehicle, comprising: a head lamp including a low-beam lamp for shining low-beam light in a first zone, and a first high-beam lamp for shining first high-beam light in the first zone; a sensory cluster for detecting a remote vehicle proximate to the local vehicle, the sensory cluster including a distance sensor for determining a distance of the remote vehicle from the local vehicle, and a velocity sensor for determining a velocity of the remote vehicle with respect to the local vehicle; and a lighting controller for determining a minimum-distance target time when the remote vehicle will reach a minimum distance from the local vehicle based on the distance of the remote vehicle and the velocity of the remote vehicle, and for controlling the operation of the first high-beam lamp based on the distance of the remote vehicle and the velocity of the remote vehicle.
Illumination apparatus, hologram device, and vehicle control method
An illumination apparatus that illuminates an illumination zone having a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction is provided with a light source to emit a coherent light beam, and a diffraction optical device to diffract the coherent light beam incident from the light source. The diffraction optical device diffracts the incident coherent light beam so that a width of the illumination zone in the second direction gradually becomes wider along the first direction of the illumination zone from a nearer side to the diffraction optical device.
Lamp for vehicle
A lamp for a vehicle includes a light source unit that generates light and an optical unit for guiding the light. The light source unit includes a plurality of light sources arranged in a matrix shape, and the optical unit includes a plurality of optical members disposed in a traveling direction of the light. The light generated from the plurality of light sources passes through the optical unit to form a beam pattern.
Method for Controlling Adaptive Motor Vehicle Headlight
A method for controlling an adaptive motor vehicle headlight (AMVH), wherein a first data storage device (DSD) is assigned to the AMVH, which is designed to emit different segmented light distributions having a resolution of at least 2×12 and has light sources arranged in segments for this purpose, each segment including at least one LED light source. The method includes: a) providing the AMVH and the first DSD and storing a number of data sets on the first DSD, b) connecting the AMVH to a motor vehicle, which is designed to output control data for controlling the AMVH, c) transmitting the control data by the motor vehicle to the AMVH, wherein the AMVH has an internal computing unit, which receives the control data and selects and retrieves data sets stored in the first DSD as a function of the control data (“active data sets”),d) controlling the light sources arranged in the segments by the computing unit in accordance with the active data sets, d1) determining the number of active data sets, wherein the control data is used to give each active data set an individual percentage weighting, d2) determining target light intensities to be output of each segment by superimposing the light intensity values that can be derived from the active data sets taking the respective weighting into account, d3) outputting the target light intensities for each segment taking into account a permissible maximum temporal rate of change of the light intensity that can be predetermined.
Lighting control device for vehicular lamp, vehicular lamp system
To achieve visibility improvement and reduction of sense of incongruity in a vehicular lamp using LEDs. A lighting control device for controlling the on/off of a light source having a first and a second lamp unit each with LEDs including: a control part that generates a control signal for controlling the emitted lights of the lamp units; and a light source drive part for driving the lamp units based on the control signal; where the light emitted from the two lamp units driven by the light source driving part is such that each luminous intensity decreases from a first value to a second value which is smaller than the first value within a common period, and each luminous intensity decreases to the second value during the common period maintaining the relationship that the luminous intensity of the first lamp unit is lower than that of the second lamp unit.
