Adaptive resistance exerting exercise apparatus
An exercise apparatus comprising a weight stack comprised of one or more individual bodies of weight, a flexible elongated cable having a downstream portion that is interconnected to a user selectable number of the one or more individual bodies of weight that exert a first resistance and to a second resistance device that exerts a second resistance, a manually movable actuating device interconnected to a proximal end of the cable, the actuating device being manually movable by the user to exert an exercise speed, velocity, force, energy or power through the cable on the selectable number of one or more individual bodies of weight and on the second resistance device, the second resistance device exerting a second resistance that increases non-linearly with an increase in the degree of speed, velocity, force, energy or power exerted on the actuating device or on the second resistance device by the user.
SYSTEM FOR LINKING DUMBBELLS TO INCREASE THE WEIGHT LIFTED BY A USER
The present invention is a device configured to permit combining the weight of a first and second free weight such that a user could grasp one of the weights in order to lift the combined weights. Embodiments of the invention comprise a back panel connected to two side panels, the side panels each comprising a slot with an opening divided into two portions oriented such that a first free weight may be inserted into the slot of each panel and positioned into a first slot portion, followed by a second free weight positioned in the second slot portion of each panel to permit a user to increase the resistance available for an exercise regimen.
Resistance breathing device
A resistance breathing device includes a face mask having a perimeter and an aperture extending therethrough, and being adapted to overlay a user's mouth and nose such that the perimeter forms an air-tight seal with the user's face. An insert is disposed within the aperture of the face mask and has an inlet aperture extending therethrough. An adjustment slide is positioned adjacent the insert, has an inlet aperture extending therethrough, and is movable between a first position in which a first portion of the inlet aperture overlaps the inlet aperture of the insert and a second position in which a larger second portion of the inlet aperture overlaps the inlet aperture of the insert. An adjustment wheel is attached to the insert and is movable rotatably between first and second positions to cause the adjustment slide to move between its first and second positions.
Exercise Apparatus
The present invention relates to exercise equipment, particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a bench area, a guide arm, a head area, and a foot area that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The bench area, the head area and the foot area are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a base.
Modular activity board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.
WEIGHT APPARATUS INCLUDING WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT ARRANGEMENT
A weight apparatus includes a bar including a handle rotatably attached to an anchorage. The anchorage includes a body and at least one radially extendable and retractable pin, the pin being movable relative to the body between an innermost position and an outermost position. An end of the pin extends radially beyond an external surface of the body when the pin is in the outermost position. The apparatus further includes a weight including a weight opening in which the anchorage is adapted to be received. The weight includes a radially extending pin opening adapted to receive the pin when the pin is in the outermost position to attach the weight to the anchorage. An arrangement is provided for driving the pin to the outermost position upon rotation of the handle relative to the anchorage.
Portable Exercise Device
A portable exercise device is provided. The device is comprised of a frame with a repositionable pulley housing and a band, allowing users to perform various resistance exercises. Additionally, the pulley housing contains an internal coil attached to a band with handles and grips, featuring a resistance control to adjust the band's tension in specific increments. The device can be stabilized by the user's weight while sitting on the device or can be fastened to a surface or vertical object for additional exercise variations, making it suitable for a wide range of resistance exercises including wrist curls, bicep curls, triceps extensions, shoulder presses, and leg exercises, among others.
Exercise device
An exercise device having rounded ends of differing radii.
Wheeled platform for core training
An exercise apparatus for training the core muscles can include a wheeled platform for supporting the upper body or the lower body while the user employs the core muscles to roll the platform across a surface. Two vertical posts can be positioned on opposite sides of the platform near a back edge of the platform to provide handles for the user when the platform is used to support the user's upper body. A third vertical post can be positioned near the center of the platform and can be used to add weights to the platform thereby increasing the difficulty of rolling the platform across a surface.
