Multiple-Part Surface Covering for the Cladding of Support Structures and Cladding Part
A multiple-part surface covering for the cladding of support structures includes at least two surface covering parts, respective portion of a first and second surface covering parts, and a cover. The at least two surface covering parts are sewn to one another by way of a connecting seam. The respective portion of a first surface covering part and a respective portion of a second surface covering part form a seam overhang. The cover is sewn to the two surface covering parts by way of the connecting seam and covers the seam overhang. An edge strip core is arranged between the cover and the seam overhang.

A vehicle can be provided in which a rear surface of a center console (30) which accommodates an electric device (D) is formed by a detachable cover member (57), and a maintenance and inspection switch (61) for the electric device (D) is provided in a space defined between the electric device (D) accommodated in the center console (30) and the cover member (57), whereby an easy access to the maintenance and inspection switch (61) for the electric device (D) accommodated in the center console (30) can be gained.
Interior component of a vehicle
An interior component of a vehicle comprises a carrier having a front face directed toward a passenger compartment of the vehicle and an opposite rear face; a speaker including an at least partially transparent diaphragm and a transducer coupled to the diaphragm. Movement of the transducer causes vibration of the diaphragm to generate sound by vibration of the diaphragm, the diaphragm having a front face directed towards the passenger compartment and an opposite rear face. The carrier provides a support along at least part of the periphery of the diaphragm where the diaphragm is attached to the carrier where the front face and the rear face of the diaphragm are free of the carrier across a part of the diaphragm surface so that the diaphragm is suspended in the carrier of the interior component.
VEHICLE CONSOLE ASSEMBLY
A console assembly having a hood and a shroud. The hood has one or more base mounting points configured for installation to a vehicle body structure, and one or more accessory mounting points spaced from and rigidly connected to the one or more base mounting points. The shroud defines an enclosed volume, and is configured to install over the hood, with the one or more base mounting points contained within the enclosed volume, and the one or more accessory mounting points located outside the enclosed volume. When the hood is attached to the vehicle body structure and the shroud is installed over the hood, the hood is configured to convey respective loads applied to the one or more accessory mounting points to the one or more base mounting points independently of the shroud. A hood assembly and a method for installing a console assembly are also provided.
MOUNTING BRACKET FOR CONSOLE BACKGROUND
A mounting bracket to hold a console frame member includes a base support component, a first side component plate, and a second side component plate. The base support component includes a base portion and a back support portion having a first end and a second end. The base portion is fixed to a floor of a vehicle and the back support portion vertically extends from the base portion. The first side component plate and second side component plates extend toward a front side of the mounting bracket from the first end and the second end. The base support component, the first side component plate, and the second side component plate collectively form an impact absorbing section.
CARPET WITH AN ELECTROLUMINESCENT LAYER
A carpet for a vehicle comprising at least one backing layer and a pile having a front and rear side, wherein the pile comprises yarns and/or filaments and/or staple fibers, characterised in that the carpet further comprises at least one area comprising a flexible multilayer comprising, a transparent conductive layer facing the pile, a dielectric layer, a light emitting layer comprising electroluminescent material situated directly in between the transparent conductive layer and the dielectric layer, a second conductive layer adjacent to the dielectric layer facing away from the pile and wherein the second conductive layer is not in contact with the transparent conductive layer, and wherein the flexible multilayer is connectable to means for conducting alternating electrical current (AC) such that the light emitting layer comprising electroluminescent material emits light at least through the pile in response to the alternating electrical field (AC), and wherein the at least one backing layer is a transparent or translucent impervious thermoplastic flexible layer situated between the front side of the pile and the flexible multilayer wherein at least some of the yarns and/or filaments and/or staple fibers contact the transparent or translucent impervious thermoplastic flexible layer preferably being partly embedded in the transparent or translucent impervious thermoplastic flexible layer.
SHIFT CONSOLE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A shift console for a motor vehicle includes a receiving region for a shift lever. In order to provide a beverage holder for the central seat of a front seat row of a motor vehicle, the shift console comprises a beverage holder which is able to be stowed in a stowed position in the shift console and which is able to be adjusted into a use position horizontally adjacent to the shift console.
AN INTERIOR COMPONENT OF A VEHICLE

Strengthened glass articles exhibiting improved headform impact performance and automotive interior systems incorporating the same
Embodiments of this disclosuer pertain to glass articles that comprise a maximum CS magnitude (CS.sub.max) of about 900 MPa or greater, a CS magnitude of 750 MPa or greater at a depth of about 5 micrometers, and a maximum CT magnitude (CT.sub.max) disposed at a depth from the first major surface in a range from about 0.25 t to about 0.75 t. Embodiments of a curved glass article are also disclosed. In one or more embodiments, such curved glass articles include the first major concave surface comprising a maximum radius of curvature of about 100 mm or greater and a first maximum CS value (CS.sub.max1) greater than about 800 MPa, a second major convex surface comprising a second maximum CS value (CS.sub.max2), wherein the CS.sub.max2 is less than CS.sub.max1. Embodiments of an automotive interior system including such curved glass articles and methods of making glass articles are also disclosed.
