TRIM ELEMENT COMPRISING A RETRACTABLE STORAGE VOLUME
A trim element having a body and a covering element extending over part of the body. The covering element includes at least two substantially rigid panels connected to one another by a flexible branch forming a bending line of the panels relative to one another and fastened to the body by a fastening edge forming a hinge between the panels and the body, the covering element being deformable around the bending line. The covering element hinges between a retracted position, in which the panels of the covering element are pressed against the body, and a deployed position, in which the panels are moved away from the body, the covering element defining a storage volume with the body in the deployed position.
Vehicle rear structure
A vehicle rear structure has an upper back panel, and a first closed sectional part that is coupled to a front end part of the upper back panel in a vehicle forward-rearward direction and serves as a closed sectional part having a closed section structure. The first closed sectional part is constituted of a first panel and a second panel that are panel members different from the upper back panel. The thickness of the first panel and the thickness of the second panel are larger than the thickness of the upper back panel, respectively.
Vehicle rear structure
A vehicle rear structure, comprising a fixation wall which is erected behind a rear seat, and an upper back panel whose end is attached to the fixation wall, wherein the upper back panel is provided with a first attaching portion which is attached to the fixation wall and extends in a direction substantially parallel to the fixation wall, and a folding portion which is connected to an upper end of the first attaching portion, opposed to the first attaching portion in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and when a force is applied in the forward direction of the vehicle, is folded with its upper end as a fulcrum toward the front of the vehicle; and the folding portion has a length to contact the first attaching portion or the fixation wall at a position below an upper end of the fixation wall when it is folded.
Interior trim element for a motor vehicle
An interior trim element for a motor vehicle, comprising a main part, more particularly a trough-shaped main part, that defines an interior space, and comprising at least one clip element, wherein the at least one clip element is pivotally hinged to the main part (2) via at least one film hinge, wherein the film hinge is formed on a shoulder created on an edge portion (4a) of the main part that partially delimits the interior space, the shoulder being offset with respect to the free end of the edge portion.
Luggage side trim and mounting structure of mounting the luggage side trim
A luggage side trim includes a body portion having an upper edge portion extending in a vehicular front-rear direction, a wall portion extending in a vehicular width direction from a part of the upper edge portion, the wall portion having an insertion hole through which a damper is to be inserted, and a slit that is communicated with the insertion hole and extends upward and toward a vehicular exterior side from the insertion hole and has a damper insertion opening being open toward the vehicular exterior side, the damper insertion opening receiving the damper that is to be guided along the slit toward the insertion hole when the luggage side trim is mounted on the vehicular panel. When the luggage side trim is mounted on the vehicular panel, an upper edge of the upper edge portion is above the damper.
TRIM COMPONENT FOR COVERING AN INTERIOR SPACE OF A MEANS FOR TRANSPORTING PASSENGERS AS WELL AS METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A TRIM COMPONENT
The present invention relates to trim component for covering an interior space of a means for transporting passengers, in particular of a vehicle, comprising a support element which has at least one separation surface and at least one edge-folded section abutting the separation surface, wherein the support element has at least one folded edge which includes at least one edge-folded section. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for producing such a trim component.
Vehicle interior lid for covering interior component airbag attachment
A vehicle assembly includes an interior body panel having an outer surface including an opening portion, and a lid removably mounted to the body panel. The lid has a closed position for covering the opening portion and an opened position. Engagement between the lid and the body panel is adapted to allow the lid to pivot at least partially into the opening portion as the lid is moved from the closed position to the opened position. The lid defines a lid body having an exterior surface. An edge portion of the exterior surface is continuous and without interruption about a periphery of the exterior surface so that the lid body exterior surface is flush with the body panel outer surface about the entire periphery of the lid body exterior surface.
Overlaid composite interior component
A laminated composite interior component including: a first member that has a predetermined mating surface; and a second member made of an elastically deformable resin material and having a plate portion that is generally parallel to the mating surface, the plate portion being integrally provided with a large number of projections that project toward the mating surface such that a space is formed between the mating surface and the plate portion, the second member being disposed so as to be placed on the first member with the projections contacting the mating surface, in which the large number of projections have the same shape as each other, and are configured such that a flexural rigidity of each of the projections against a compressive load is anisotropic around an axis so that the projections are each to be deflected in one direction around the axis, the large number of projections are disposed on line segments that define a shape of a large number of arrangement units in accordance with an arrangement pattern in which the arrangement units are provided regularly, and distal ends of the projections are pressed against the mating surface so that the projections are elastically deformed to impart cushioning properties, the arrangement pattern being determined such that the large number of arrangement units are provided away from each other and proximate line segments of adjacent arrangement units are parallel to each other, and two projections each provided on the proximate line segments being disposed in such an attitude that deflection directions, which correspond to the one direction, of the two projections are parallel to each other and at positions at which a clearance is provided between the two projections when the two projections are deflected.
AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR EQUIPMENT TRAY AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF MANUFACTURING
An automotive interior equipment tray that defines a top surface, an under surface and a peripheral edge section extending between the under surface and the top surface over a contour of the tray. The peripheral edge section defines with the under surface a peripheral ridge. The tray includes a bead protruding from the under surface in the vicinity of the peripheral ridge.
VEHICULAR INTERIOR PART INCLUDING SOUND ABSORBING MEMBER
A vehicular interior part includes a sound absorbing member including a hole cover section covering a panel-side hole of a panel in which a functional part is to be arranged, a panel cover section covering the panel, slits arranged between the hole cover section and the panel cover section. The slit includes a peripheral extending portion extending along a hole edge of the panel-side hole and a projecting portion extending from an end of the peripheral extending portion toward the panel cover section and a continuous part is between the projection portions of the adjacent slits. The hole cover section is to be torn off from the sound absorbing member at the continuous parts to be separated from the panel cover section and form a hole such that the functional part in the panel-side hole is to be exposed through the panel-side hole and the hole.
