Car Door Protector
A tool for protecting car doors. The car door protector includes a telescoping rod that expands and retracts, with a fastener disposed on a first end and a second end in order to secure the car door protector to a car. A magnet is placed within each fastener. A cord is attached to the telescoping rod, wherein the cord includes a weighted anchor attached to an end thereof. In operation, a user attaches one of the fasteners and magnets to a car door. The cord can be passed through an open window such that the anchor is in the interior of the vehicle. The window can then be closed, wherein the anchor prevents the cord from being removed. The second end of the telescoping rod is then removably secured a second car door, thereby protecting one side of a car.
AUTOMOTIVE DING AND DENTS PROTECTION SYSTEM
A device for protecting the automobile doors from scratches and dents to the finishes made by other cars or objects while the automobile is parked on a parking lot or other spaces. The device has an impact absorbing material attach to one side of and structural bar while a part of the door outside panel is attached to the other side of the structural bar. The structural bar and the absorbing material are stow inside the door frame. The structural bar is connected through a series of bearings and shafts to an electric motor that rotates the structural bar and exposes the impact material to provide the door protection. The motor is controlled by a solenoid valve.
ILLUMINATED TRIM
The invention relates to an illuminated trim for a motor vehicle with a lighting unit, especially a trim as the cover strip of a sealing strip for a window shaft of a vehicle door, which is designed such that, when assembled as intended on the vehicle a light gap is formed between the trim and the adjoining outer surface of the vehicle or in the trim, as well as the method for making such a trim. In order to achieve a uniform ambient lighting with high functional reliability, low manufacturing expense, and the lowest possible costs, it is provided that the lighting unit comprises a carrier layer and an at least partly translucent functional layer, wherein the light source is arranged on the carrier layer and the light source is covered by the functional layer applied to the carrier layer.
DOOR PROTECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a door protection system (2) for a vehicle (1). The door protection system (2) includes sensor means (10, 11) for detecting an object (O) proximal to the vehicle (1). Processing means (14) are provided to process a signal (S1, S2) received from said sensor means (10, 11) to determine if the detected object (O) obstructs opening of a vehicle door (5, 6). Output means are provided for outputting a suspension control signal (S.sub.SUS) to control operation of a vehicle suspension (7) dependence on determining that the detected object (O) obstructs opening of the vehicle door (5, 6). The present disclosure also relates to a vehicle (1); to a method of controlling operation of a vehicle suspension (7); and to an electronic processor (14).
DOOR EDGE PROTECTOR DEVICE
A door edge protector device includes a protector, a cam member and a link mechanism. Cam portions are formed in the cam member, and the cam member is rotated by an input corresponding to a close/open state of a door. The link mechanism includes cam followers which are engaged with the cam portions, and the protector is attached to the link mechanism. By the engagement between the cam portions and the cam followers, the link mechanism moves in an interlocking manner with rotation of the cam member. A locus T includes an accommodated position corresponding to the close state of the door and a set position covering a door edge corresponding to the close state of the door. The cam portions are configured so that the protector moves along the locus by movement of the link mechanism.
FRAME MOLDING
According to one embodiment, a clip is assembled to an inner member in a state where the clip penetrates through a through-hole of the inner member. The through-hole penetrates between a bottom surface of a recessed part and an inner surface in the inner member, in other words, between front and rear surfaces of the inner member. This configuration enables a part where the inner member holds the clip to be formed relatively thicker. Thus, strength of a connection part of the clip and the inner member can be further enhanced.
COMPONENT
The invention relates to a component (1) comprising a planar decorative element (4) with a front side (5) and a rear side (6). A cover layer (9, 10) is arranged on each of at least two regions of the front side (5) of the planar decorative element (4), these at least two cover layers (9, 10) being spaced completely apart from one another, and said at least two cover layers (9, 10) and at least one region (12, 14) of the front side (5) of the planar decorative element (4) together forming a visible side (2) of the component (1).
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE AND ORNAMENTAL MEMBER
A vehicle body structure including an ornamental member attached to an outer surface of an outer edge portion of a door, wherein the ornamental member includes an attachment portion pasted to the outer surface by a pasting unit, and a parallel surface that extends from the attachment portion outward with respect to the outer edge portion and is parallel to the outer surface.
Door Guard for an Automobile
The invention relates to a door guard for protecting exterior surface of an automobile door. The door guard is an elongated body made from a single piece of plastic. The body can have a length of between two to six inches, a width of between two to five inches, and a thickness of between a quarter and three inches. The door guard further includes a plastic clip formed on a surface of the guard 20. The clip has a hooked shape that can be slideably mateable with a flange of an automobile door so that the length of the body extends along the length of the door.
Fastener clip over a carrier secured with barbs
A fastener clip system including a carrier and a fastener clip configured to fit over the carrier. The fastener clip includes at least one wing, where the at least one wing is configured to engage a slot in a surface, and one or more barbs that are configured to secure the fastener clip to the carrier. The barbs may include gussets that are configured to increase a bending resistance of the barbs.
