Exterior Trim for a Motor Vehicle
An exterior trim for a motor vehicle includes an exterior trim part having a central shape-retaining subcomponent and a first elastic subcomponent connected on a first side of the central shape-retaining subcomponent and a second elastic subcomponent connected on a second side of the central shape-retaining subcomponent. The central shape-retaining subcomponent is adjustable from a first position into a second position and the first elastic subcomponent and a first trim surface of the first elastic subcomponent and the second elastic subcomponent a second trim surface of the second elastic subcomponent are adjustable.
ROCKER EXTERIOR COMPONENT STRUCTURE
A rocker molding includes a vertical wall portion provided under a rocker in a vehicle upper-lower direction, a bottom wall portion extending from a lower end portion of the vertical wall portion to an outer side in a vehicle width direction, and a side wall portion extending upwardly in the vehicle upper-lower direction from an outer end portion of the bottom wall portion in the vehicle width direction. A sound absorbing material is provided in a penetrating portion that is provided in a grange from a portion of the vertical wall portion to an inner portion of the bottom wall portion in the vehicle width direction.
Side sill molding for car and manufacturing method thereof
A side sill molding may include a front plate configured to have a length corresponding to a length of a side sill, a top plate configured to be connected to an upper end of the front plate, a bent part configured to be connected to the top plate and have a clip part formed at an inner side thereof, and a rib configured to connect a lower end of the clip part and a preset portion of the front plate.
Component having a two-dimensionally extending decorative element
Before back molding, the planar decorative element is provided with through-holes. At least in the area of the through-holes, a film is applied to the rear of the planar decorative element. When a plastic melt is introduced, for example by way of injection molding or extruding, the pressure of the plastic melt presses the film into said through-holes. The component is used, in particular, to produce an illuminable field, for example, of a door sill protector of a motor vehicle.
Vehicle understructure
A rocker molding includes a side wall part, and an extending part. A rear liner is attached to the extending part. An outer surface of the extending part is provided with a first protruding strip part that protrudes toward a side far from a forward-rearward center position of the vehicle and a second protruding strip part that protrudes toward the side far from the forward-rearward center position of the vehicle and is located between an edge of the rear liner on a side far from the vehicle width center position and the first protruding strip part. The edge of the rear liner on the side far from the vehicle width center position in the vehicle width direction and the edge of the second protruding strip part of the extending part on the side near the vehicle width center position in the vehicle width direction extend in parallel.
EXTRUDED SUPPORT MEMBERS FOR FACILITATING ACCESS TO A VEHICLE AND RELATED METHODS
Support devices and their components are disclosed. The support device facilitates access to a vehicle and includes an elongate support member, brackets for mounting the elongate support member to a vehicle, and a step affixed to the elongate support member. The step can be movable relative to the support member after fastening the step to the support member.
Covering of an Outer Sill, Energy Storage Element and Vehicle
A covering of an outer sill of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, has a covering region and a mounting region, which extend between first and second ends of the covering along a direction of longitudinal extension. The mounting region extends in a first direction of transverse extension perpendicular to the direction of longitudinal extension and has mounting elements in order to be able to be mounted on an underside of the outer sill for a mounted state. The mounting region has a lateral edge facing away from the covering region in the direction of longitudinal extension, which has recesses between mounting elements, which are formed such that sections of the lateral edge of the mounting region extend in a recessed manner in the first direction of transverse extension towards the covering region.
System composed of a sill panel and a fastening clip
The invention relates to a system composed of a sill panel and a fastening clip for fastening the sill panel to a body part of a vehicle, wherein the sill panel has a latching hook, and wherein the fastening clip has a latching receptacle for receiving the latching hook and holding means for retention on the body part, wherein the latching receptacle also has an elastic holding arm which, with the latching hook of the sill panel received in the latching receptacle, exerts, on account of its spring preloading, a holding force on the latching hook which counteracts a release of the sill panel from the fastening clip, wherein, for demounting purposes, the sill panel can be released from the fastening clip by exerting a tensile force which counteracts the holding force of the elastic holding arm.
