Vehicular camera assembly process using welding to secure lens relative to camera image plane
A vehicular camera includes a lens barrel accommodating a lens and having at least two radial protrusions protruding radially outward at or near an inner end of the lens barrel. A lens holder includes a passageway for receiving the inner end of the lens barrel and has at least two slots extending longitudinally from a board end of the lens holder. The lens barrel is received in the lens holder and the board end of the lens holder is attached at an imager printed circuit board with the imager facing the lens. The radial protrusions are movable within the slots while the lens barrel is adjusted relative to the imager to align the lens at the imager. After the lens is aligned relative to the imager, the radial protrusions within the slots are welded to the lens holder to secure the lens barrel relative to the imager printed circuit board.
Wire harness with a reference mark for an attachment orientation
An object of the present disclosure is to provide a technique that can prevent, in a wire harness including a fixing member, the fixing member from being attached in a deviated orientation. A wire harness includes: a wiring member; a fixing member provided on the wiring member; and a first reference mark and a second reference mark that are each provided at a position of the wiring member that corresponds to the fixing member. The first reference mark and the second reference mark each have a distinctive external appearance in a circumferential direction of the wiring member. The first reference mark indicates a reference position of the wiring member in the circumferential direction, and the second reference mark indicates a position of the wiring member in the circumferential direction, the position serving as a reference for an attachment orientation of the fixing member.
Resin structure and wire harness
A resin structure has an insertion portion through which an electric wire runs. The resin structure includes a first resin body and a second resin body to be attached to the first resin body in an attaching direction so as to cover the opening portion. The first resin body includes a first wall portion forming a part of a wall portion perpendicular to the attaching direction, and a first insertion portion provided in the first wall portion and forming a part of the insertion portion. The second resin body includes a second wall portion forming another part of the wall portion, and a second insertion portion provided in the second wall portion and forming another portion of the insertion portion. When the first resin body and the second resin body are attached to each other, the insertion portion is disposed in the wall portion of the resin structure.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a first conductive path; a second conductive path that is different from the first conductive path; and an exterior cover that covers the first conductive path and the second conductive path, wherein: the first conductive path includes a conductive first tubular conductor that is tubular in shape, the second conductive path includes a conductive second tubular conductor that is tubular in shape, and a thickness of the first tubular conductor is different from a thickness of the second tubular conductor.
HARNESS COMPONENT
A harness component according to one aspect of the present disclosure is an electrical connection box, and a harness fixing piece included in a housing of the electrical connection box includes a first wall portion that extends in a length direction of a wire harness, the wire harness being arranged on an inner surface of the first wall portion; a second wall portion that is arranged outside of a lower end, which is an end portion of the first wall portion in a length direction of the wire harness, and is continuous along a lower end; and a bottom portion that extends outward from the lower end of the first wall portion and supports the second wall portion away from the outer surface of the first wall portion.
VEHICLE DRIVE UNIT
A drive unit includes an internal combustion engine (21) disposed in an engine compartment (10), a first electric motor (31) and a second electric motor (33), and an inverter (27) disposed above an electromotive unit (23). The drive unit has: a first harness (41) that connects the inverter and the first electric motor; a second harness (42) that connects the inverter and the second electric motor; a step portion (51) formed so as to be recessed on one side or the other side, in the left-right direction, of the upper end of the inverter; and an AC terminal block (55) disposed in the step portion. The first harness and the second harness respectively extend downward from the DC terminal block while extending outward, and are respectively connected to upper parts of the first electric motor and the second electric motor.
LED CONNECTORS IN WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness includes a first connector portion that matingly connects to a second connector portion. A power cable carries electrical power from a power supply to one or more motors, and includes power segments connecting the first connector portion and the power supply, and the second connector portion and the motor. Power terminals are received within the first and second connector portions, for establishing an electrical connection between the power segments. One or more communication cables carry control signals from a control system to the motor(s) and include communication segments connecting the first connector portion and the control system and the second connector portion and the motors. Optical terminals are received within the first and second connector portions for each communication cable, for establishing a digital optical connection between each of first and second communication segments.
Electrically conductive, polymeric vehicle component
A vehicle component includes a polymeric material, a first filler, and a second filler. The polymeric material can be present at a concentration of at least about 35% by weight of the vehicle component. The first filler can be a carbon-containing filler dispersed within the polymeric material. The carbon-containing filler can be present at a concentration of at least about 20% by weight of the vehicle component. The second filler includes a substrate and carbon nanotubes. The carbon nanotubes extend from a surface of the substrate.
Composite cable and composite harness
A composite cable includes a plurality of power lines, one signal line unit, and a sheath collectively covering the plurality of power lines and the one signal line unit. The signal line unit includes a plurality of pairs of signal lines, and an inner sheath covering a first assembled article. The first assembled article is formed by arranging the signal lines to be paired at each pair of adjacent vertices of a polygon with an even number of vertices in a cross-section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the signal line unit and twisting all the signal lines together. A twisting direction of a second assembled article formed by twisting the plurality of power lines and the one signal line unit together is different from a twisting direction of the first assembled article.
