PHYSICAL THERAPY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
An apparatus and method for physical therapy includes a base structure, a roller table positioned on the base structure including a plurality of free motion rollers, at least one motor and/or and at least one air compressor connected to the base structure, a plurality of powered rollers or a contact plate located within the base structure being in contact with the plurality of free motion rollers, at least one pneumatic block with a pneumatic piston connected to the at least one air compressor and being configured to raise and lower the power rollers and/or the contact plate, a load cell in communication with the apparatus being configured to measure and record a patient's response to the transition of the roller table and/or the contact plate, and a programmable logic controller.
Gait assistive device
A system for gait training which includes a slidable assembly for attaching to the foot with or without a shoe, on the affected side of a subject. When the subject shifts his or her body weight away from the affected side, the slidable assembly is capable of forward and backward movement to follow the swinging movement of the leg. When the subject shifts their body weight to the affected side and thereby applies weight to his or her swinging leg and the slidable assembly, a passive braking system is automatically actuated arrests any further movement of the affected limb.
HAND-EYE COORDINATION TRAINING DEVICE
A hand-eye coordination training device and/or kit may be reconfigurable by the user to adjust the level of difficulty of use. The training device may have a hub with at least two couplings and at least two handles that interchangeably and releasably attach to the couplings on the hub. Each handle is physically differentiated from the others by shape, color, size, or other differentiating elements. Handles may be fillable with material that alters the rotation of the training device in flight. In use, a color or other differentiating feature is called, and the user must catch the appropriate handle. If a specific hand is called, the user must use that hand to make the catch. The training device may comprise a controller and at least one sensor that controls sound, light, or a combination of sound and light. The training device provides a gaming element to training sessions.
SANDBAG AND OPERATION METHOD AND SYSTEM OF THE SANDBAG
The present disclosure provides a sandbag, and an operation method and system of the sandbag, relating to the field of exercise and fitness. In the sandbag of the present disclosure, a bracket, a sandbag body provided on the bracket, a display screen provided on an outer surface of the sandbag body, a hitting detector provided on the outer surface of the sandbag body, a processor and a network module are provided, wherein the processor is electrically connected with the hitting detector, the display screen, and the network module respectively; the processor can detect hitting data of the user through the hitting detector, and acquire the network data through the network module, and control displaying of the display screen according to the hitting data and/or the network data, thus, the contents displayed are enriched, and the user experience is improved.
TRAINING DEVICE WITH COLLAPSIBLE ARMS
A training device including a hub, at least one elastic cord, and at least two arms. The hub including an upper side, a lower side, and a plurality of ports. The at least one elastic cord extending from the hub and is accessible via at least one of the plurality of ports. The at least two arms extending from the hub and are configured to move relative to the hub. The training device is configured to assume (i) a closed state wherein the at least two arms both extend downwardly from the lower side of the hub and (ii) an open state wherein the at least two arms extend laterally outwardly from the hub between the upper side and the lower side of the hub. The at least one elastic cord biases the at least two arms in the open state.
Agility Training and Exercise Device and Method of Agility Training
The present disclosure relates to a device for exercising. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an agility training and exercise device, and method of agility training, useful for improving overall body agility and coordination of the users. The present agility training and exercise device provides customized course configurations, which can be used by all levels of athletesfrom professional to the average individualwishing to improve overall body and mental agility. The present agility training and exercise device may also be useful for rehabilitation therapy or those with disabilities seeking to improve both physical and mental agility.
Cardiovascular exercise device, system and method
A cardiovascular exercise device is provided. The cardiovascular exercise device is for use to administer an exercise program including shuttle runs. The cardiovascular exercise device includes: a tower placeable at a first location; a user input associated with the tower; a pacing bar arranged to display a target pace of a user for a shuttle run of a track distance from the first location; and a processor configured to operate an exercise program. The administration of the exercise program includes the steps of: receiving a signal from the user input; defining a repetition as the time between subsequent signals from the user input; and indicating pacing information to the user based upon this signal.
EXERCISE TRAINING SYSTEM
An exercise training system is provided having a system controller and a plurality of stimulant target units connected via a wireless network to the system controller. Each stimulant target unit has a light source providing light to stimulate a user, a proximity sensor providing an output of a distance between the proximity sensor and an object external to the unit, and means for providing feedback to the user to signal that the unit has been actuated by the user. The system controller includes a program for activating the stimulant target units in a sequence. The reaction by the user to the illumination is registered when the user brings a body part or other object to within a selected distance of the proximity sensor, this distance being programmable by the user.
REHABILITATION AID
A rehabilitation therapy aid (FIG. 4), for use in aiding a patient to regain and improve movement and control in a limb, comprises a moveable structure (51) having engagement means (53) whereby the structure can be moved by the limb of a patient (72) requiring therapy and separate engagement means (52) whereby the structure can be moved in the same direction by a therapist (71) or by the patient's stronger limb. A movement detector (56) is arranged so that the movement of the structure (51) can be tracked by the patient and/or by the therapist.
