IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM
A display image is obtained in accordance with a deviation of a viewpoint position of a driver from a reference viewpoint position, on the basis of a captured image obtained by capturing an image on a rear side from a vehicle. The reference viewpoint position is updated on the basis of a long-term fluctuation of the viewpoint position. For example, the reference viewpoint position is not updated when a line-of-sight of the driver is in a certain region including a display unit that displays a display image. For example, when a viewpoint position of the driver enters a certain region corresponding to a seated state, there is registered, as an initial reference viewpoint position, a viewpoint position of the driver in a case where a line-of-sight of the driver is continuously present for a certain period of time on the display unit that displays a display image.

A vehicular vision system includes a video display screen and a video processor operable to process captured video image data captured by a rearward-viewing color video camera at the vehicle. The video display screen includes a left display region at a left portion, a right display region at a right portion, and a middle display region that spans between the left and right display regions. The video display screen (i) displays at the left display region video images derived from captured image data to display a scene occurring in a left side lane, (ii) displays at the right display region video images derived from captured image data to display a scene occurring in a right side lane and (iii) displays at the middle display region video images derived from captured image data to display a scene occurring rearward of the vehicle in the lane the equipped vehicle is travelling in.
INTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH FULL MIRROR VIDEO DISPLAY
A vehicular interior rearview mirror assembly includes a mirror head pivotally adjustable about a mirror support. The mirror head includes a mirror reflective element having a transflective mirror reflector. A video display device is disposed rearward of the mirror reflective element. A touch sensor is disposed at the mirror reflective element and is associated with circuitry at a flexible printed circuit of the video display device. The video display device is operable to display video images captured by a rearward viewing camera of the vehicle. Light emitted by the video display device passes through the transflective mirror reflector for viewing of displayed video images by the driver of the vehicle viewing the mirror reflective element. The mirror reflective element, at the reflective region of the transflective mirror reflector, reflects at least 40 percent of visible light incident at the front side of the mirror reflective element.
Image display apparatus
An image display apparatus 10 comprises image capturing units 11L, 11R, display units 12L, 12R, and adjusting units 14, 16 that adjust a position at which to display a captured image 30 on the display units. The adjusting units 14, 16 have a plurality of adjustment modes in which the position can be adjusted. The plurality of adjustment modes include a first mode (self-aiming mode) in which it is possible to adjust the position by an operation on only a first switch 14, and a second mode (service center aiming mode) in which it is possible to adjust the position by a simultaneous operation on the first switch and a second switch 15.
Image synthesis device for electronic mirror and method thereof
According to one embodiment, an image synthesis device for an electronic mirror includes a rear camera which obtains a first image from a first position, and a side camera which obtains a second image of the same direction with a view of the rear camera from a second position. The second image includes a view obstruction. When a part of the first image is connected as a complementary image to the view obstruction of the second image, an image processing device converts an image of the view obstruction into a translucent image, superimposes the complementary image on the translucent image, and obtains a third image which remains an outline of the complementary image.
Vehicle-rendering generation for vehicle display based on short-range communication
Method and apparatus are disclosed for vehicle-rendering generation for vehicle display based on short-range communication. An example vehicle includes a communication module configured to wirelessly communicate with remote sensing devices, a display configured to present a vehicle rendering of the vehicle, and a controller. The controller is configured to, in response to detecting an activation event, collect sensing data via the communication module. The controller also is configured to determine whether an object is coupled to the vehicle based on the sensing data and, in response to detecting an object coupled to the vehicle, modify the vehicle rendering to include an object rendering of the object.
Display device for vehicle, display method for vehicle, and storage medium
A display device for a vehicle, including: a rear imaging section that captures a rear image; a rear lateral imaging section that captures rear lateral images; and a control section that generates a combined image in which a rear processed image obtained by processing the rear image with a first parameter, and rear lateral processed images obtained by processing rear lateral images with a second parameter, are combined, wherein the control section further identifies an object existing in the rear image or the rear lateral images; acquires relative information including relative position and relative speed of the object with respect to the vehicle, and blind spot regions of the combined image; and, based thereon, if the object will disappear from the combined image due to entering into the blind spot regions, changes the blind spot regions by adjusting the first and second parameters.
Display system, vehicle control apparatus, display control method, and storage medium for storing program
A display system comprises: a shooting unit configured to shoot a periphery of a vehicle; a display unit configured to display an image shot by the shooting unit; and a display control unit configured to switch a display mode of display in the display unit between a first display mode for displaying a first display region and a second display mode for displaying a second display region that is different from the first display region. When the display mode is switched to the second display mode in a state in which a display range of the display unit has been adjusted in the first display mode, the display control unit displays the second display region regardless of the adjustment of the display range.
IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS
An image display apparatus has: a synthesizing device (132) for synthesizing a rear image (111B) captured by a rear imaging device (11B) for imaging rear area of a first vehicle (1) and a rear side image (111BL, 111BR) captured by a rear side imaging device (11BL, 11BR) for imaging rear side area of the first vehicle to generate a synthesized image (111C); and a display (14) for displaying the synthesized image. The synthesizing device varies a proportion of each of a rear image area and a rear side image area to the synthesized image based on velocity of the first vehicle and/or a distance between the first vehicle and a second vehicle existing at the rear of the first vehicle, wherein the rear image area and the rear side image area are areas in which the rear image and the rear side image are displayed, respectively, in the synthesized image.
