11452905 · 2022-09-27 ·

The present system relates generally to a piece of exercise equipment that may be used to assist in the performance of the plank exercise along with a method of using the same. The system includes various embodiments that include horizontal bars with cushions that are supported at one or more vertical heights. A person may rest a portion of their body on the cushions of the horizontal bars so as to alleviate a portion of the weight associated with performing the plank exercise and to help provide balance and stability while performing the exercise.

Resistance Strap

A Resistance Strap fabricated of webbing material and the placement of two ends attached to exercise equipment. An adjustable strap that is fully extended when the user does an isometric, concentric or eccentric movement exercise and combines added weight selected by user from an exercise machine or apparatus, which the invention can be adapted to. The user will incorporate different muscle fibers in the same motion or movement when using resistance strap mentioned.

WEARABLE RESISTANCE DEVICE WITH POWER MONITORING

Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable biomechanics units and or resistance modules. The garment may provide resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and or tracks a variety of biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing or athletic uniform. The device may be worn as a supplemental training and or diagnostic tool during conventional training protocols, or as a biomechanics or biometric data capture device during competition.

Low profile passive exercise garment

Disclosed is a muscle specific exercise device. The device may provide passive or active resistance training throughout an angular range of motion. The device may be low profile, and worn by a wearer, such as beneath conventional clothing. Exercise of selective joints or motion of the body may thereby be accomplished throughout the wearer's normal daily activities, without the need for access to conventional exercise equipment. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training techniques.

Weightlifting Belt and System

A weightlifting belt includes a band of padding configured to be banded about a waist of a user and a continuous chain extending in spaced relation to the padding. The chain is coupled to the band of padding at a plurality of spaced locations along the padding. The chain is fixed to the padding at at least one of the plurality of locations and is moveably coupled to the padding at at least one of the spaced locations. In one embodiment, the center of the chain is fixed to the center of the band of padding. Also, the chain may be configured to extend about an outer surface of the padding when the padding and the chain are banded about the waist of the user. The chain may be radially spaced with respect to the outer surface of the padding.

Upper and lower body press exercise machine
09770623 · 2017-09-26 ·

A machine for concurrently or independently performing pressing motions with the hands and feet, the machine having a base having front and back ends, two or more linear slide rails, a lower body user support with an engagement means for the user's feet and an upper body user support with an engagement means for the user's hands. The upper body user support and lower body user support slide on the linear rails that are located proximally on opposing ends of the base frame and the upper body user supports and the lower body user supports cooperate with one another to move in opposing converging and diverging sloping linear movement patterns during operation of the machine.

EXERCISE APPARATUS

Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for performing various physical exercises. A push-up apparatus is disclosed including a handle member having a first distal end portion and a second distal end portion, and first and second support members, each including a substantially flat support surface and a bearing structure rotatably coupled to one of the first and second distal end portions of the handle member, the bearing structure being positioned such that a respective distal end of the handle member is closer to a top surface of the respective support member opposite the support surface than to the support surface. The handle member is configured to rotate axially about a central axis of the handle member independently of the first and second support members.
