A neck flap cover with integrated pocket constructed for appending to hats with a headband. A hat with a headband constructed with a neck flap cover and integrated pocket strategically affixed to the rear portion of the headband of a hat. The flap cover includes a pocket designed for retaining a flat article of wearers' choice. The flap cover includes a support layer of fabric, of one or more layers, an intermediate layer of fabric, and a pocket layer of fabric. The flap cover declines from the centralized rear portion of the headband, traverses between the ears of a wearer, descends the neck longitudinally and is designed to fall above the collar bone of the wearer.

The UV radiation-blocking sports hat is an apparatus that shields the face and the head of a user from sun exposure. The apparatus includes a hat, a panel, a pocket, and a tinted shield. The hat protects the upper portion of the head from sun exposure. The panel protects the bottom portion of the head and the back of the neck of the user. The pocket contains a cooling pack in order too cool down the environment within the present invention. The tinted shield protects the face of the user while allowing the user to view the surrounding environment. The tinted shield is preferably made of polycarbonate material that is anti-scratch, anti-glare, and anti-fog. The apparatus may further include a plurality of ventilation slots in order to facilitate air flow for the environment within the present invention.

Apparel in which retractable extensions from a body portion can be selectively engaged in to cover the wearer's face, head, arms or legs. The extension of material is connected to the body portion, and stored within a pocket when it is not in use. When it is needed the wearer reaches into the pocket, and extends the material out of the pocket, engaging it as a useful sleeve, pant leg, face covering, or hood.

A method for use of a convertible band for a cap that includes the steps of: stretching the convertible band around the perimeter of the cap; adjusting the position of the band to fit at the edge of the cap; and positioning an decorative attachment at the front of the cap. The convertible band may be used to cover a user's ears. The band may also be removed and extended to camouflage a user's face. The decorative attachment may also be interchangeable.

A collapsible hat having a brim is made by inserting a leading end portion of an elongated, three-dimensional, frame element into an opening of an annular compartment extending around an outer periphery of the brim until the leading end portion passes through another opening of the annular compartment. The leading end portion is connected to a trailing end portion to make the frame element circumferentially complete to thereby impart a three-dimensional shape to the outer periphery of the brim that corresponds to the configuration of the three-dimensional frame element.

A cap configured to permit different logos to be interchangeably positioned on the cap. The cap includes a front panel, a back panel and a visor. Further the cap comprises an adjustable strap. The front panel is made out of plastic material with hooks and other panels, such as the back panel and the visor, can also be made out of other materials. The logos are equipped with pile material permits them to be detachably mounted on the cap. A piece of stiffening material is positioned inside of the front panels forming the front face of the cap to maintain the front face in a shape.

A hat cooling system is disclosed. The hat includes a head portion that is couplable to a user's head. The hat also includes a brim coupled to the head portion and a stowage compartment formed atop the head portion. A battery pack is stowed in the stowage compartment and has an output port. At least two electrical fans are coupled to the brim of the hat. A power wire is coupled to the battery pack by an electrical connector, the power wire has a parallel circuit junction forming two output wires each of the two wires having an electrical connector that is coupled to one of the two fans.

The UV ray-blocking headwear is adapted to be an apparel item. The UV ray-blocking headwear is adapted to be worn on the head. The UV ray-blocking headwear is a UV blocking sunshield that is attaches to the head such that UV radiation is prevented from reaching the head, ears, or nape of the neck. The UV ray-blocking headwear is attached to a headband that is worn on the head such that a sunshield is raised above the head thereby creating a space for air flow to provide for the comfort of the user. A swim cap for persons having long hair includes a shell preferably having at least two interconnected compartments for receiving and encapsulating the hair of a user. The swim cap is secured around the head of a user by at least one draw string or adjustable band positioned within a channel near the open end of the swim cap as well as a chin strap extending downwardly from the cap. The interconnected compartments can be inflated to provide buoyancy. The shell further includes an outer layer and an inner layer defining a space therebetween that can also be inflated, or comprised of buoyant material, to provide buoyancy. A pump, compressed air canister or manual filler tube in communication with the interconnected compartments or space within the shell can be used to provide inflation. A pair of ear flaps extends downwardly from the swim cap around a user's head.
