Electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus of an aspect of the present disclosure is an electronic apparatus by which a phone call can be made. The electronic apparatus includes a communication unit, an input unit, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to determine whether or not a conversation held in the phone call has been terminated based on at least one of the audio signal transmitted or received by the communication unit during the phone call and an operation of disconnecting the phone call performed through the input unit. The at least one processor is configured to determine whether or not the conversation has been resumed based on the audio signal received by the communication unit from the other party of the phone call after determining that the conversation has been terminated.
Apparatus and method for controlling outgoing calls in vehicle
A method for controlling an outgoing call in a vehicle includes: when a communication terminal connected to a multimedia device through car mirroring has not been registered in a pairing list of the multimedia device, deleting at least one device among a plurality of devices registered in the pairing list, and registering the communication terminal in the pairing list; and attempting to make a call through the communication terminal when it has been registered in the pairing list.
METHOD FOR WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY CONTINUITY AND QUALITY
Configurations are described for maintaining a continuity and quality of wireless signal connection between a mobile device and systems accessible through the internet. In particular, configurations are disclosed to address the challenge of a mobile device that moves through a physical environment wherein the best wireless connectivity performance is achieved by switching between available connection sources and constantly evaluating a primary connection with other available connections that may be switched in to become a new primary connection. The mobile device may be self-propelled or carried by some other mobilizing means.
Method for efficient channel estimation and beamforming in FDD system by exploiting uplink-downlink correspondence
A method for selecting at least one parameter for downlink data transmission with a mobile user equipment. The method is executable by a wireless communication base station having multiple antennas configured to communicate wirelessly with the mobile user equipment. The method receives an uplink probing signal from the mobile user equipment. The method determines a plurality of angles of arrival for a corresponding plurality of paths between the mobile user equipment and the multiple antennas. The method transmits a plurality of downlink probing signals directionally toward corresponding angles of arrival in the plurality of angles of arrival. Each downlink probing signal is a virtual antenna port with respect to the mobile user equipment. The method receives channel state information. The method composes at least one of a rank indicator (RI), precoding matrix indicator (PMI), or modulating and coding scheme (MCS) for downlink data transmission to the mobile user equipment.
Information processing apparatus and computer program product
A first memory stores an application that causes a processor to acquire, via the wireless communication performed by a first interface according to a first communication method, creation information required to create communication information to be used by a second interface performing the wireless communication according to a second wireless communication method; create the communication information containing the acquired creation information and decision information used for deciding whether the communication information is to be deleted; determine whether the wireless communication is disconnected; make decision, based on the decision information, as to whether the communication information is to be deleted; and continue making the decision while the application is not running. The second memory stores basic software that causes the processor to delete the communication information when it is determined that the wireless communication is disconnected or when it is decided that the communication information is to be deleted.
Preventing accidental phone call session termination
Embodiments described herein provide approaches for preventing an accidental termination of a phone call session. Specifically, a user establishes a phone call session using a phone call device. During the phone call session, the user performs an action related to terminating the phone call session. A likely intent of the user to terminate the phone call session is determined based on one or more predefined factors. Based on the determined user intent, the phone call session may be terminated or allowed to continue.
COOPERATIVE COMMUNICATION PROCESSING METHOD, ENB, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention provide a cooperative communication processing method, the method includes: acquiring report information of a first communication device, where the first communication device is a supporting device or a benefited device; and if it is determined, according to the report information of the first communication device, that the first communication device needs to perform a communication handover, executing the following steps: sending a connection configuration message to the first communication device, so that the first communication device releases a cooperative bearer context between the first communication device and a source eNB; and sending a connection configuration message to a second communication device. According to the present invention, release or maintenance processing of a cooperative relationship between cooperative communication devices in a communication handover process can be implemented.
Handling authentication failures in wireless communication systems
A method for handling authentication failures in a wireless communication system includes transmitting, by a user equipment (UE) and via a first cell, a first plurality of messages including at least one of AUTHENTICATION AND CIPHERING FAILURE messages or AUTHENTICATION FAILURE messages, where two or more of the first plurality of messages indicate at least one of synch failure or medium access control (MAC) failure, and where the UE includes at least one of a subscriber identity module (SIM) or universal SIM; receiving at least one of an AUTHENTICATION REJECT message or an AUTHENTICATION AND CIPHERING REJECT message subsequent to transmitting the two or more of the first plurality of messages indicating at least one of synch failure or MAC failure; and in response to receiving the at least one of an AUTHENTICATION REJECT message or an AUTHENTICATION AND CIPHERING REJECT message, transmitting an ATTACH message via a second cell.
CALL-TERMINATION-TRIGGERED SOCIAL INTERFACE
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving identifier-information from a device of a first user, wherein the identifier-information is associated with a source of an incoming communication; accessing a social graph including nodes and edges, where the nodes include a first node corresponding to the first user, and second nodes corresponding to respective second users; determining whether one or more reporting users, corresponding to respective second nodes within a specified degree of separation from the first node, have flagged the source of the incoming communication as a spam source; and sending, to the first user, a spam-notification object that includes information identifying one or more of the reporting users.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE, ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD
A wireless communication method of one wireless communication device which performs wireless communication with another wireless communication device, including displaying identification information of said another wireless communication device; notifying identification information of the wireless communication device, to said another wireless communication device by near field communication; receiving the identification information of said another wireless communication device updated by said another wireless communication device, from said another wireless communication device; and updating the identification information of said another wireless communication device to be displayed in the displaying step.
