Technology is discussed for supporting the incorporation of a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS) and/or a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS) within in a New Carrier Type (NCT) for a Component Carrier (CC). Guidelines for incorporating the PSS and/or the SSS in the NCT are discovered, together with potential collisions with other signals that can be avoided for various scenarios. In some examples, various guidelines and potential collisions discovered herein, for various scenarios, inform approaches to incorporating the PSS and/or the SSS based on the positioning of the PSS and/or the SSS. In other examples, other signals, such as DeModulation Reference Symbols (DMRS) are reconfigured to allow incorporation of the PSS and the SSS.

Method for performing a packet filtering for prose in a D2D communication system and device therefor

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for performing a Packet filtering for ProSe in a D2D communication system, the method comprising: configuring a plurality of identifiers of the UE; receiving, by a Medium Access Control (MAC) entity, a Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit (MAC PDU) including an indicator; checking, by the MAC entity, whether the indicator is equal to 16 Most Significant Bit (MSB) of any of identifiers of the UE; and delivering the MAC PDU, to a Radio Link Control (RLC) entity, after successfully decoding the MAC PDU, if the indicator is equal to 16 MSB of any of identifiers of the UE.

Output data providing server, information processing apparatus, information processing system, output data providing method, information processing method, and data structure of content data

When a user executes an operation of requesting a client terminal for starting processing, a server starts information processing of specified contents, transmitting initial output data such as an initial screen and a sound to the client terminal. The client terminal outputs the initial data and, every time the user executes an indication input such as a command input, transmits the input information concerned to the server. The server executes information processing corresponding to the input information and generates output data common to destination client terminals as basic output data and output data for each client terminal as individual output data. The client terminal decodes an image and sound data that are basic output data and synthesizes figures and sounds based on individual output data, thereby outputting the synthesized figures and sounds.

System and method for providing wearable authentication and management

A system for wearable authentication and management is disclosed. In particular, the system may include identifying and authenticating a user through biometric data or movement signatures specific to the wearer of a wearable device. Once the user and wearable device are authenticated, the system may activate and provision connectivity services for the wearable device, associate the device with a device ecosystem of the user, and push predefined settings to the wearable device. Additionally, the system may deliver communications that are transmitted to other devices in the device ecosystem to the wearable device while the wearable device is worn by the user. If the user no longer wears the wearable device or the wearable device is not utilized for a period of time, the system may deactivate the connectivity services for the wearable device and remove any settings pushed to the wearable device.

Apparatus and method for providing compatibility of transmission signal in communication system

Method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a signal in a broadcasting communication system are provided. Data of an input stream is divided for transmission through a frame. A header that includes information about the input stream is constructed. The frame is constructed using the header and the divided data.

A global user record that can be found in a search for posixAccount-type records is created in a database, then a zone user record of a type that cannot be found in a search for posixAccount-type records is associated with it. Finally, the zone user record is augmented so that it, too, will be found in a search for posixAccount-type records. Global and zone-specific group records are created similarly.

Embodiments relate to a data transmission method. A relay node receives information that is about an SCMA codebook used by the relay node and that is sent by a destination node. The relay node receives two or more source signals sent by two or more source nodes. The relay node performs network coding on the received two or more source signals. The relay node performs SCMA codebook mapping on a signal obtained after the network coding, so as to obtain at least two modulation symbols. The relay node sends to the destination node, the at least two modulation symbols obtained after the SCMA mapping.

ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM MONITORING USING DISTRIBUTED CONDUCTOR-MOUNTED DEVICES

Disclosed herein are systems for monitoring and protecting an electric power system using a plurality of conductor-mounted detectors (CMDs). In one embodiment, a plurality of CMDs are coupled to an electrical conductor. Each CMD may harvest power from the electrical conductor and may monitor electrical current in the conductor. When the electrical current in the conductor exceeds a fault current threshold a fault signal may be transmitted. A receiver in communication with each of the plurality of CMDs may receive the fault signal from at least one of the plurality of CMDs. A protective action may be generated and implemented to clear the fault. A portion of the electric power system affected by the fault may be determined based on identification of each of the plurality of CMDs to transmit the fault signal.
