A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A display device includes a substrate, a pixel electrode and a common electrode spaced from each other on the substrate, a first reflective electrode on the pixel electrode and a second reflective electrode on the common electrode, respectively, a first bottom sacrificial electrode on the first reflective electrode and a second bottom sacrificial electrode on the second reflective electrode, an organic layer covering at least a portion of the first and second sacrificial electrodes, a light emitting element on the organic layer and including a semiconductor stack, a first contact electrode, and a second contact electrode, a first connection electrode connecting the pixel electrode and the first contact electrode and a second connection electrode connecting the common electrode and the second contact electrode and a first upper sacrificial electrode between the first contact electrode and the organic layer.

There are provided a display panel, a display device including the display panel, and an electronic device including the display panel, in which the degree of integration of pixels is increased. The display panel may include a display area in which a first pixel and a second pixel connected to the first pixel through a connection electrode are disposed. The display panel may include a non-display area at the periphery of the display area.

The light-emitting element includes a bonding electrode connected to the anode electrode; a light-emitting member including a first semiconductor layer connected to the bonding electrode, a second semiconductor layer connected to the cathode electrode and disposed on the first semiconductor layer, and an active layer disposed between the first and second semiconductor layers; and an insulating film covering at least a side surface of the light-emitting member. A portion of the auxiliary electrode that surrounds the side surface of the light-emitting element is disposed above an upper surface of the active layer.

Provided is a display device including a lower substrate, a bonding electrode disposed on the lower substrate, a reflective electrode disposed on the bonding electrode, and a light-emitting element disposed on the reflective electrode, wherein the reflective electrode includes a reflective layer disposed between the bonding electrode and the light-emitting element and having a shape corresponding to that of the light-emitting element in a plan view, and a capping film covering a side surface of the reflective layer.
