ROTATING DOOR HANDLE FOR EASE OF USE
A handle operably coupled to rotating door handle assembly is disclosed. The handle may include a first rotatable member configured to engage a door latch mechanism. The handle may further include a second member mechanically engaged with the first member and the second member may be extended a length between a non-extended position and an extended position. A handle cavity may be defined within at least a portion of the second member and a bar may be enclosed within the handle cavity. Furthermore, an extension mechanism may be incorporated with the bar and the second member and configured to extend the bar from the cavity when the second member is in the extended position and retract the bar within the cavity when the second member is in the non-extended position.
DOOR CLOSURE AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
A closure for a door of a structure, for example, a wildlife observation or hunting blind, is provided. The closure can include a base plate, a door latch, a handle, and at least one tracking bar spaced from the base plate to form a gap, sized to receive part of a door panel. The tracking bar can include a primary sliding surface that faces and slides relative to a first side of the panel when converting the closure from a locked mode to an open mode. The plate can include a guide bar slidable within a panel guide slot coextensive with a transverse opening sized so the tracking bar can fit through it and retain the base plate and handle in sliding relation proximate the panel. The door closure can be installed relative to the door manually, without the use of tools. A related method of use is provided.
DIRECT ACTION WINDOW LOCK
A window latch for a sliding window having a sliding sash including a latch plate and a housing. The housing includes an engagement element movable relative to the housing from a locked position operatively engaged with the latch plate to an unlocked position disengaged from the latch plate. A handle is operatively coupled to the engagement element and movable from a first position to a second position in a first direction corresponding to the direction the sliding sash to which the handle is attached moves to an open position. The handle operatively moves the engagement element from the locked position to the unlocked position as the handle is moved in the first direction toward the second position.
Two position door handle with push-push mechanism
A handle assembly for an access panel is described and includes a support structure attached to the access panel; a handle engaging with the support structure, the handle comprising a grip portion and upper and lower flanges extending perpendicularly from the grip portion; and a retention/extension mechanism for retaining the handle in a first position and for transitioning the handle to a second position after pressure is applied to and subsequently released from the handle.
RETRACTABLE HANDLE ARRANGEMENT FOR A DOOR OR THE LIKE
A retractable handle arrangement includes a handle movable between stowed and deployed states, a motor and transmission mechanism arranged to couple the motor to the handle for moving the handle from the stowed state to the deployed state when the motor is driven in a first direction, and to modulate the force exerted on the handle and the speed at which the handle is deployed as the handle travels from the stowed state to the deployed state.
Handle mechanisms
A handle mechanism includes a gear drive having an interior end and an exterior end; an inside handle fixed to the interior end; a button; a finger; a handle drive; an outside handle; and a spring. The button has an interior end and an exterior end, which is positioned within the exterior end of the gear drive. The handle drive is positioned within the exterior end of the gear drive and is rotatable relative thereto. The outside handle and the handle drive rotate together. The outside handle moves between a first position, wherein it is constrained from rotation, and a second position. The finger is fixed to the exterior end of the button, which moves between a first position, wherein the finger causes the gear drive and the handle drive to rotate together, and a second position. The spring biases the button and the outside handle toward their first positions.
Door handle assembly and process for extending and/or retracting of door handle assembly
This invention is directed to a door handle which is normally hidden within the door, be it either completely flush with a door surface, or partially protruding from said door surface. If a user wants to use the handle, then the user activates the handle using convention actuating techniques to extend the handle from the recess. Should an external object be placed between the handle and the door surface after the handle is operated and the retraction process begins, the handle movement is limited in the downward direction by the extension of an elastic link between the door handle and the rest of the retraction mechanism.
Retractable handle arrangement for a door or the like
A retractable handle arrangement comprises a handle movable between stowed and deployed states, a motor and transmission means arranged to couple the motor to the handle for moving the handle from the stowed state to the deployed state when the motor is driven in a first direction, and to modulate the force exerted on the handle and the speed at which the handle is deployed as the handle travels from the stowed state to the deployed state.

Security swing handle assembly
A security swing handle comprises a housing and a handle pivotally mounted to the housing between a closed position and an open position. A locking insert is rotatably supported in the housing and operatively connected to a latch to actuate the latch to release the handle to an open position. A hasp assembly includes a hasp at the bottom of the housing and a plate member disposed within an interior of the housing adjacent to a bottom of the latch. A pin on the locking insert is disposed within an aperture of the plate member to move the plate member against the latch to release the handle to the open position when the locking insert is rotated. If a padlock locked to the hasp is subjected to blunt force, edges of the aperture shear the pin from the locking insert disabling the locking insert.
