Production system
Production system for series production of in particular motor vehicles, includes a container storage area storing containers containing components for production, production shelves, remote from container storage area, from which workers remove components from containers. Transport for transporting containers from container storage area to production shelves. Transport has automated guided vehicle (AGV) on which transport shelf is situated and designed so containers are automatically delivered from transport shelf to production shelves in a conveying direction (delivery direction). Handling device situated on AGV, has a base body and a handling unit situated on base body. Handling unit removes containers from transport shelf in conveying direction and delivering containers to production shelf. Relative to base body, handling unit is linearly adjustable along first linear adjustment axis in conveying direction, along a second linear adjustment axis transverse to conveying direction, height-adjustable along a third adjustment axis, and rotatable about vertical fourth adjustment axis.
Vehicle body assembly system
A vehicle body assembly system each forming a pre-buck section and a main-buck section set along a transport path of the floor assembly according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes a pre-buck unit configured in the pre-buck section to regulate the seal side and the front and rear sides of side assemblies that are different for each vehicle type, and to assemble the side assembly and the floor assembly, and a main-buck unit configured in the main-buck section to regulates the roof portion and the quarter portion of the side assembly assembled to the floor assembly in the pre-buck section, assemble the roof portion, cowl, roof rail and package tray and assemble the quarter portion and the floor assembly.
PLANTS FOR IMMERSION OF BODYWORKS
A plant for immersion treatment of vehicle bodies may include at least one skid configured to support a body; at least one process liquid tank; a line configured to convey the at least one skid above the at least one tank; and/or a device configured to overturn and immerse, inside the at least one tank, the body on the at least one skid positioned over the at least one tank using the conveyor line. The at least one skid may include a base part and a support part. The support part may be supported rotatably on the base part using a rotatable shaft with axis arranged transverse to a direction of movement of the at least one skid on the conveyor line, so that the support part is rotatable between a first upper position and a second position for immersing the body in the at least one tank.
PROGRESSIVE PRESS LINE ASSEMBLY
A system for producing a vehicle body assembly in a manufacturing facility is provided. The system includes a forming station configured to form a vehicle body member from a metal material; and an assembly station configured to assemble the vehicle body member with at least one additional vehicle body member to form the vehicle body assembly. The forming station and the assembly station are disposed, in the manufacturing facility, at a predetermined distance from each other, and wherein the predetermined distance is in the range of 0-50 feet.
PROGRESSIVE PRESS LINE ASSEMBLY
A system for producing a vehicle body assembly in a manufacturing facility is provided. The system includes a forming station configured to form a vehicle body member from a metal material; and an assembly station configured to assemble the vehicle body member with at least one additional vehicle body member to form the vehicle body assembly. The forming station and the assembly station are disposed, in the manufacturing facility, at a predetermined distance from each other, and wherein the predetermined distance is in the range of 0-50 feet.
METHOD FOR CONVEYING AT LEAST ONE VEHICLE COMPONENT TO A VEHICLE BODY WITH AT LEAST ONE ROBOT DEVICE IN AN ASSEMBLY STATION AND ASSEMBLY STATION HAVING THE ROBOT DEVICE
A method is disclosed for conveying a vehicle component to a vehicle body with a robot device in an assembly station. The assembly station includes a provisioning position in which the vehicle component is provisioned for conveying to the vehicle body. The assembly station further includes a final assembly location at which the vehicle component is final-assembled on the vehicle body. The robot device grips the vehicle component in the provisioning position and conveys the vehicle component to the final assembly location.
METHOD FOR CONVEYING AT LEAST ONE VEHICLE COMPONENT TO A VEHICLE BODY WITH AT LEAST ONE ROBOT DEVICE IN AN ASSEMBLY STATION AND ASSEMBLY STATION HAVING THE ROBOT DEVICE
A method is disclosed for conveying a vehicle component to a vehicle body with a robot device in an assembly station. The assembly station includes a provisioning position in which the vehicle component is provisioned for conveying to the vehicle body. The assembly station further includes a final assembly location at which the vehicle component is final-assembled on the vehicle body. The robot device grips the vehicle component in the provisioning position and conveys the vehicle component to the final assembly location.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING VEHICLE BODY DURING ASSEMBLY
An apparatus for supporting a vehicle body during assembly includes a support frame, at least one first vehicle body supporting portion installed on a front portion of the support frame to be movable in a vehicle width direction, at least one first position adjustment unit installed on the front portion of the support frame and configured to manually vary a position of a corresponding first vehicle body supporting portion, at least one second vehicle body supporting portion installed on a rear portion of the support frame to be capable of clamping, and at least one second position adjustment unit installed on the rear portion of the support frame and configured to manually vary a position in a vehicle length direction of a corresponding second vehicle body supporting portion.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING VEHICLE BODY DURING ASSEMBLY
An apparatus for supporting a vehicle body during assembly includes a support frame, at least one first vehicle body supporting portion installed on a front portion of the support frame to be movable in a vehicle width direction, at least one first position adjustment unit installed on the front portion of the support frame and configured to manually vary a position of a corresponding first vehicle body supporting portion, at least one second vehicle body supporting portion installed on a rear portion of the support frame to be capable of clamping, and at least one second position adjustment unit installed on the rear portion of the support frame and configured to manually vary a position in a vehicle length direction of a corresponding second vehicle body supporting portion.
Vehicle assembly line
To improve working efficiency of mounting components in a lower part of a vehicle body, a vehicle assembly line includes a supporting unit to support a vehicle body in a position such that the front direction of the vehicle body is perpendicular to the conveying direction. The supporting unit includes an upstream supporting member and a downstream supporting member provided upstream and downstream of the platform along the conveying direction, respectively. The centers of the support columns fixed to a platform, of the upstream supporting member and the downstream supporting member, are located upstream and downstream, respectively, with respect to a center line CLb of the platform extending in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction of the platform, and located apart from and opposite to each other across a center line CLa of the platform extending in the conveying direction, to provide a working space for mounting below the vehicle body supported by the carrier device.
