According to one aspect of the present invention there is provided an adjustable mechanism for connecting two or more shafts, including at least a first shaft having an external surface with an outer diameter and a second shaft which is hollow at a first end, wherein a spring is anchored to the first end of the second shaft, the spring having an inner diameter of similar dimensions to the outer diameter of the first shaft, the spring configured such that when a force is applied to the spring its inner diameter is greater than the outer diameter of the first shaft so that the second shaft can move over the first shaft to a desired position relative to the first shaft, and when the force is no longer applied to the spring it is biased to return to its original inner diameter to bear against the external surface of the first shaft.

An adjustable golf club. The adjustable golf club has a shaft that can selectively secure to a club head. The shaft includes an elongated member which incorporates a first plurality of splines along the elongated member. A club head is removably secured to the shaft by mating the first plurality of splines of the elongated member with a second plurality of splines in an interior cavity of the club head. The angle of the club head can be adjusted through the selective mating of the first plurality of splines of the elongated member to the second plurality of splines of the head. In one embodiment the shaft is further secured to the club head by a quick release system. In another embodiment the length of the shaft can be selectively adjusted.

The tactile indicator has a width greater than a width of the arm and the shaft (12), arm (14) and tactile indicator (15) are fixedly arrangeable such that the distance and angle between a portion of the golf grip to be gripped during a golf stroke and the tactile indicator is equivalent to a predetermined target distance and angle between hands and a lateral upper arm portion of an inside arm of a user at an apex of a backswing of a golf stroke.

The weight load in the grip and the weight insert in the club head are counterbalanced and predetermined to fit user's parameters such that a same club can be fitted for different user or same user after progressing his/her skills by changing the grip weight and the club head weight.
