Lifesaving rope apparatus, life jacket, and water lifesaving device
The present disclosure provides a lifesaving rope rescue apparatus, a life jacket and a water lifesaving device to increase the probability of rescuing the drowning victim and reduce the difficulty of water rescue. The lifesaving rope apparatus comprises a rope and an ejection apparatus used to eject the rope and is used by a rescuer to rescue the victim over water.
Water safety garment, related apparatus and methods
A water safety garment and apparatus configured to avoid drowning can be configured to permit submergence for a predetermined period of time without inflation. After the predetermined time has passed, the garment or other apparatus can be configured to inflate to help a person wearing the garment float on top of the water to avoid drowning or other potentially harmful condition that may result from being underwater for too long. In some embodiments, a circuit may be utilized to detect the submergence condition of a person wearing the apparatus or garment. Upon a determination that the detected submergence condition has occurred continuously for a pre-determined period of time, an inflation mechanism can be actuated to force the person wearing the apparatus or garment to float to the top of the water.
Floatation device without pressurized container
A floatation device includes a body transformable between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. A stiffener assembly is movable between a first position and a second position. The stiffener assembly is biased into the second position. The stiffener assembly is operably coupled to the body such that movement of the stiffener assembly between the first position and the second position causes the body to transform between the retracted position and the extended position. During the transformation of the body between the retracted position and the extended position, a partial vacuum is created within the body to inflate the floatation device.

AIR BAG STRUCTURE
An air bag structure includes an air bag body. The air bag body includes a first air bag, a second air bag, and an intermediate partition disposed between the first air bag and the second air bag. The intermediate partition is extensible. When one of the air bags is broken, the other air bag is inflated. The intermediate partition is deformed to move toward the rupture, and the air volume of the good air bag is doubled and returned to the original air volume, thereby maintaining buoyancy.

SELF-INFLATING SWIM AID
A self-inflating swimming aid comprises a flotation member having a core of open cell foam closely encompassed in a waterproof casing of impermeable plastic. An inflation valve allows fluid communication with the foam core through the cover. The device is inflated by opening the valve so that the foam core may assume its expanded shape, and is deflated by compressing the foam core to force the air out of the flotation member through the valve. Once the flotation member is deflated to a desirable size and shape, the valve may be closed and the device may be folded or rolled up for storage.
COLLAPSIBLE FLOTATION DEVICE
A device comprises a spring and a sleeve. The spring is configured to form a closed loop. The spring is moveable between a coiled configuration when the spring is collapsed and an uncoiled configuration when the spring is expanded. The spring defines a circumference while in the uncoiled configuration. The spring is disposed within the sleeve.
