In particular, the latch mechanism may be a simple plug-in and clip device. The latch mechanism is an easy-to-handle releasable attachment and fixation device to release the removable section from the base element, particularly only by crew and service members of the aircraft. The latch mechanism is provided on the base element and the section element such that the section element is detachably mounted to the base element via the latch mechanism.

PRIVACY PANEL FOR A PASSENGER SEAT

Described herein is a privacy panel for a passenger includes a main body positioned between adjacent passenger seats and an attachment mechanism removably coupled to the main body. The attachment mechanism may include a first attachment member couplable to an armrest of the passenger seat and a second attachment member coupled to the first attachment member. The second attachment member may be attachable to a fixed location on the passenger seat for preventing rotation of the armrest.

PASSENGER SEAT FOLDING PRIVACY SHIELD

A passenger seat folding privacy shield can include a partition pivotable about a pivot edge or otherwise adjustable between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the deployed position, the privacy shield can extend forward from a lateral edge of the seat back so as to form at least a partial barrier between a living space of the passenger seat and an adjacent seat. In the stowed position, the partition may be arranged overlying a cushioning portion of the seat back or situated laterally outward from a perimeter of the seat back.

The present disclosure provides an aircraft monument housing a crew quarters positionable in an aircraft cabin adjacent a longitudinal aisle, and a combination including a passenger suite and an aircraft monument housing a crew quarters. The aircraft monument includes a transverse wall forming part of the monument and separating interior space within the monument from the adjacent passenger suite. The interior space of the monument is divided by a shelf into upper and lower compartments and the crew quarters is positioned in the upper compartment for resting and sleeping use by the cabin crew. The lower compartment may be used by the cabin crew or for locating galley components. The transverse wall may be contoured such that the interior space and the passenger suite nest to maximize density. A footwell serving the passenger suite may be recessed into the transverse wall.

VTOL Aircraft for Network System

A vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft provides transportation to users of a network system. The network system may include multiple aircraft or other types of vehicles to provide multi-model transportation. An aircraft may include a fuselage, a truss coupled to the fuselage, and multiple distributed electric propellers coupled to the truss. The distributed electric propellers may be positioned on at least two different planes. The fuselage may include a cabin having one or more seats for the passengers arranged in a configuration that has a compact footprint, provides legroom, provides visibility to surroundings of the aircraft, or facilitates convenient ingress or egress of passengers. The aircraft may open a port cabin door and starboard cabin door for simultaneous ingress or egress of passengers.

Seat unit and lower structure thereof

A seat unit and a lower structure thereof that are not restricted in their positional relationship with seat tracks provided in advance in the airframe. One representative seat unit of the present invention and the lower structure thereof includes a hollow structure integrally formed using a composite member. The hollow structure is hollow in a front direction of the seat unit. The hollow structure has a quadrilateral shape in the front direction of the seat unit. In addition, a partition plate is disposed in the hollow structure. Furthermore, the lower structure includes attachment points to an aircraft at three locations on its bottom. In addition, a block is embedded in the composite member at the attachment point, and a thickness of the composite member around a bracket coupled to the block is less than thickness at other locations.

Aircraft seat with extendable and retractable rear section

An aircraft seat may include a seat pan cushion coupled to a seat base. The aircraft seat may include a seat back cushion. The aircraft seat may include an auxiliary rear section. The auxiliary rear section may be configured to transition between an extended position and a retracted position. The seat pan cushion and the seat back cushion may be configured to transition between a first position and a second position. The auxiliary rear section may be configured to be in the extended position when the seat pan cushion and the seat back cushion are in the first position. The auxiliary rear section may be configured to be in the retracted position when the seat pan cushion and the seat back cushion are in the second position.

Aircraft seat unit
