Carrier device, seating area divider and vehicle cabin
A carrier device for a seating area divider provided within a vehicle cabin, in particular an aircraft cabin, comprising at least a base member and a fixation device which is coupled to the base member to support the base member on a cabin floor. The base member is configured to carry a privacy divider screen of the seating area divider. The fixation device comprises at least a seat track locking member protruding perpendicular from the base member.
EMERGENCY PASSAGE DOOR
Described are passenger door assemblies including emergency passage feature assemblies. For example, a door assembly may include a latching block configurable to retain a latching spigot of a carriage assembly responsive to a first opening force. The door assembly may also be configurable to release the latching spigot to enable sliding movement of the latching block independent of the carriage assembly responsive to a second opening force.
ADAPTER PLATE FOR AN AIRCRAFT SEAT
An adapter plate for an aircraft seat may include a body configured to be positioned exterior of an armrest of the aircraft seat within a space proximate to the aircraft seat. The body may include at least one coupler configured to attach to the aircraft seat. The body may include at least one mount point. The at least one mount point of the body may be configured to attach to at least one mount bracket of the removable auxiliary aircraft accessory. The auxiliary aircraft accessory may be positioned within the space proximate to the aircraft seat when coupled to the at least one mount point of the body via the at least one mount bracket.
Seat usage prevention device
A seat usage prevention device is disclosed. The seat usage prevention deice includes at least one device component being configured to interact with one or more seat components of a first seat. The device component is configured to prevent usage of at least one of a seat pan or seatback of the first seat. The device component further separates a second seat from at least a third seat, wherein the third seat is proximate to at least one of the first seat or the second seat. The seat usage prevention device may include a device component that further includes a cushion, a base, an amenity console, or a vertical separator, or combination thereof.
PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY (PRM) SUITE ACCESS WALL ASSEMBLY
A wall assembly for providing access to an aircraft passenger suite from an aisle area is disclosed. The wall assembly includes a base. The wall assembly includes a wall operationally coupled to the base and slidable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position, the wall configured to be linearly slidable along a forward direction between the open position and the closed position. The wall assembly includes a dual latch system configured to selectively prevent a movement of the wall absent a simultaneous operation of multiple latches, the dual latch system comprising an upper latch; and a lower latch. The dual latch system configured to allow for the movement of the wall when the dual latch system is in an operated state but not necessarily in the unoperated state.
DUAL OPERATION EMERGENCY PASSAGE EGRESS SYSTEM
Examples provide a door assembly including a dual operation slide device for a sliding privacy door associated with a seat unit. The door assembly includes a sliding door movably mounted to a door support member of a seat unit. The door slides laterally between a retracted position and a deployed or partially deployed position. The dual operation slide device includes a trigger and release mechanism for switching the door assembly from a primary track system used during a normal operation mode to a secondary track system used during a backup operation mode if the primary track becomes jammed or otherwise malfunctions based on manual activation of a release lever or force applied activation. The dual operation slide device enables a user to return the sliding door to a retracted position after a failure of the primary slide units to operate in the normal operational mode.
CENTER CONSOLE WITH PRIVACY DIVIDER FOR PASSENGER SEAT
Described is a passenger seat having a seat bottom, a seat back, and a privacy divider. The seat back may have a stationary portion and a moveable portion, wherein the moveable portion is substantially upright in stowed position and is substantially horizontal over the seat bottom in a deployed position. The privacy divider may be coupled to at least an upper surface of the moveable portion in the deployed position.
AIRCRAFT SEAT MODULE
An aircraft seat module having a flight passenger seating area has a door unit which in at least one operating state is configured at least to close a passage region to the flight passenger seating area, and has a locking device for the door unit, which is configured to lock the door unit in an open position, in particular a maximally open stowage position, and to this end comprises at least one actuator device which has at least two movably supported locking elements, which are in each case adjustable between a locking position and an unlocking position, wherein that the locking device has a locking state indication unit which at least in the maximally open position of the door unit is configured to detect and indicate incomplete locking of at least one of the two locking elements.
Dual Track Light-Limiting Header Assembly
A header assembly for an aircraft cabin comprises a plurality of track, each track configured to engage with separate movable panel made from an opaque material, with the separate movable panels deployed within the header assembly tracks to form an enclosed space defined by the deployed moveable panels, and with the movable panels made from an opaque material to block light from entering an adjacent region of an aircraft cabin interior.
PASSENGER SEATING ARRANGEMENT HAVING ACCESS FOR DISABLED PASSENGERS
A passenger seating arrangement includes at least one seat unit configurable into a disabled-access configuration in which an access opening is temporarily widened to enable a disabled passenger to access the seat unit. The seat unit is arranged with other seat units in a column, and each seat unit is configurable between a seating configuration and a flat-bed configuration. The seat units are arranged in an inwardly facing herringbone. A method of providing access for a disabled passenger to a seat unit includes temporarily widening an access opening.
