SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD CONFIGURED TO IMPROVE ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE IN SPORTS AIMED AT HITTING A BALL OVER A NET
A device configured to encourage a tennis player to hit a tennis ball higher over a tennis net includes a pair of telescoping rods. Each pair of telescoping rods can include an inner segment and an outer segment. The outer segment can surround at least a portion of the inner segment. The outer segment can be movable with respect to the lower rod to at least one raised position and at least one lowered position. The lower rod of each telescoping rod can be attached to a vertical support post at opposing ends of a tennis net or directly to the tennis net. At least one fastener can be attached to the outer segment of each pair of telescoping rods. A string can attach the at least one fastener of each telescoping rod. The string can extend above and generally parallel to a top surface of the tennis net.
Method and apparatus for fastening of inflatable ride surfaces
A system, apparatus, and method for constructing or providing a ride surface for an amusement attraction, such as an inflatable surfing attraction. The ride surface may be formed via the connection of a plurality of ride surface portions or segments. A mechanism may be incorporated to smooth the ride surface and define a more continuous ride surface between the plurality of ride surface portions or segments.
Portable scoreboard
A Portable Scoreboard that is capable of displaying critical information about the game in real time, either through manual input or through a Wi-Fi connected device. In the preferred embodiment, the Portable Scoreboard is made of light weight, pliable, and waterproof material. In one or more embodiments, the Portable Scoreboard comprises multiple lights to ensure its visibility and may further comprise a solar charging grid for lengthy outdoor events and continuous battery charging. In other embodiments, the Portable Scoreboard may be plugged in to an electrical source for recharging and/or power.
Exercise device
An exercise device includes a strap. The strap includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The strap is configured to be secured to a lower leg of a user such that the first surface of the strap interfaces with the lower leg of the user. The exercise device further includes a ball including an outer surface configured to be held by the user, a first connector extending from the ball, a second connector extending from the second surface of the strap, and a tension member. The tension member includes a first coupling mechanism and a second coupling mechanism at opposite ends thereof and configured to be releasably coupled to the first connector and the second connector via the first and second coupling mechanisms.
Exercise Device
An improvement upon exercise devices embodying straps, ropes or similar construction is disclosed. The exercise device embodies a strap or rope or similar construction, wherein a middle member is provided to provide support to a plurality of loops on at least one face/side of the strap member. The loops are provided for the support of a human's hand during a physical exercise activity, whereby the middle member is affixed to a support surface such as a wall, beam or bar to support a human performing an exercise activity, such as climbing or pulling. The middle member may be elastic or non-elastic.
SPORTING GOODS IDENTIFICATION BAND
An apparatus and method to apply an identification marking patch to the wrist strap of a baseball glove. The invention described here allows for temporary identification and marking on baseball gloves by a removable applicator band that connects to the glove. This results in countless customization options that does not permanently mark a player's name or design on the glove. Aside from changing markings, the user can also remove the applicator entirely, thus bringing the glove back to its original state without compromising the leather.
Gaming assembly and methods of use thereof
Provided herein is a gaming assembly having two or more collapsible frames, two or more facings, and one or more means for attachment. Each of the frames may be composed of first and second upright frame members that are connected by one or more crossbar frame members to define a vertical plane. Each of the two or more facings is configured to fasten to the upright frame members and the crossbar frame members, covering the vertical plane. The facings feature one or more means for capturing the one or more means for attachment, such as by means of magnetic strips. The means for attachment may be made of a material such as rope with pieces of magnetic metal attached at each end, and is used to connect a first frame to a second frame.
Multi-component golf club head
Embodiments of a golf club head comprising a first component and a second component that are coupled together to enclose a hollow interior are disclosed herein. The first component comprises at least a striking face, a striking face return, and a rear extension. In some embodiments, the first component also comprises a weight channel at a rear end and one or more braces that attach to the striking face return and the rear extension. The second component comprises a crown portion, a sole toe portion, and a sole heel portion. The density of the second component is less than the density of the first component. In some embodiments, the first component mass is 85% to 96% of a mass of the golf club head.
