The present invention relates to a pouch and a method for making the same. In the inventive method, which is adapted to produce pouches having a limited amount of fusible material, a heat-sealable cord is arranged on a web forming confronting side surface of each pouch. Those confronting side surfaces are fused by heating the heat-sealable cord. The present invention furthermore provides a pouch, in particular containing a brewable or extractable commodity such as tea, with a pocket defined between confronting side surfaces of a web. The pouch of the present invention can have a limited amount of fusible material as the confronting side surfaces are joined by solidified melt of a heat-sealable cord arranged in vicinity of at least one edge of the pouch.

The present invention relates to a pouch and a method for making the same. A hand-held handle dispenser comprising: a main frame (12) having a handle (14), an adhesive tape roll (16) provided at a rear side of the main frame for delivering an adhesive tape, an application roller (18) provided at the front side of the main frame for applying the adhesive tape on a parcel and a cutting blade (20) for cutting the adhesive tape, a cartridge (22) for storing at least one insert strip (24) and transport and affixing means (26, 28) for conveying said at least one insert strip from the cartridge to the application roller and affixing it against the adhesive tape to form a handle.

A thread material cutting device is provided which is used in an extraction bag sheet manufacturing apparatus. The thread material cutting device has tension application means such as a pressing plate configured to engage with the thread material placed between adjacent tags so as to apply tension to the thread material. While the welding means is press-heating the thread material onto the tags, the tension application means applies tension to the thread material so as to cut the thread material.

A thread material cutting device is provided which is used in an extraction bag sheet manufacturing apparatus. The thread material cutting device has tension application means such as a pressing plate configured to engage with the thread material placed between adjacent tags so as to apply tension to the thread material. The present invention relates to a device for transporting ready-cut and filled hose pieces within a machine for producing bags filled with brewable material, having at least one transport wheel which includes, distributed over its circumference, a plurality of holders each holding the bag, wherein an insertion station in which one of said hose pieces is inserted into said holder in a radial direction to form a bag with at least one chamber between a head and a bottom of said bag, a label feeding station in which a label is fed to said head, a connecting station, in which a thread is connected to the label and/or the bag, and a removing station, in which the bag is removed from the transport wheel, are provided distributed in the circumferential direction around the transport wheel.

The present invention relates to a device for transporting ready-cut and filled hose pieces within a machine for producing bags filled with brewable material, having at least one transport wheel which includes, distributed over its circumference, a plurality of holders each holding the bag, wherein an insertion station in which one of said hose pieces is inserted into said holder in a radial direction to form a bag with at least one chamber between a head and a bottom of said bag, a label feeding station in which a label is fed to said head, a connecting station, in which a thread is connected to the label and/or the bag, and a removing station, in which the bag is removed from the transport wheel, are provided distributed in the circumferential direction around the transport wheel.

Described is a machine for making filter bags including: a rotary carousel having a plurality of grippers for retaining respective filtering chambers; each gripper is configured for moving the filtering chamber to a pick-up zone; a first reel of a first strip and a second reel of a second strip; a selector device including a first channel engaged by the first strip arriving from the first reel, and a second channel engaged by the second strip arriving from the second reel; the selector device has a shared outfeed at the pick-up zone; first and second movement means, positioned, respectively, along the first and the second channel for feeding, respectively, the first strip of tags and the second strip of tags, the first and second movement means are operated selectively in such a way as to feed alternately the first or the second strip.
