Disclosed is an airtight container having a deformable cover unit or a deformable container unit, which ensures easy maintenance of the cover unit and allows the cover unit to be easily used with a large-capacity fixed container unit, or which includes an expandable accommodating space or an expandable inlet to accommodate various sizes of storage items therein in an airtight manner. The airtight container includes a deformable cover unit for useable with a fixed container unit. Alternatively, the airtight container includes first and second frames pivotably connected to each other so as to be selectively coupled to or come into contact with each other in order to seal a contact or coupling portion therebetween, and a deformable container unit disposed over the frames and configured to provide an accommodating space for a storage item therein. The first and second frames are disposed along the inlet rim of the container unit.

A container for consumer articles comprises a box for housing the consumer articles. The box comprises a box front wall, a box back wall and a box top wall. A lid is defined by separation lines in the box front wall and in the box top wall, such that the lid is at least partly separable from the remainder of the box, wherein upon separation from the remainder of the box the lid is pivotable about a hinge line between an open position in which consumer goods can be removed from the container through an access opening of the container and a closed position in which the interior of the container is inaccessible. The container further comprises an inner front panel underlying and attached to at least a portion of the box front wall. The inner front panel comprises re-closing means for releasably keeping the lid in a closed position when the lid has been at least partly separated from the box.

A container for consumer articles comprises a box for housing the consumer articles. The box comprises a box front wall, a box back wall and a box top wall. A lid is defined by separation lines in the box front wall and in the box top wall, such that the lid is at least partly separable from the remainder of the box, wherein upon separation from the remainder of the box the lid is pivotable about a hinge line between an open position in which consumer goods can be removed from the container through an access opening of the container and a closed position in which the interior of the container is inaccessible. The container further comprises an inner front panel underlying and attached to at least a portion of the box front wall. A straw closing sleeve for closing a drinking end of a straw includes a foldable blank that is converted into a sleeve body. The sleeve body includes a top end wall, two surrounding wall halves that extend downwardly from a peripheral end of the top end wall and that cooperate to define a bottom opening opposite to the top end wall, and a receiving space between the top end wall and the bottom opening, and two adhesively bonded joint portions that are respectively connected to two opposite sides of each of the surrounding wall halves. A foldable blank supplying sheet and a roll of foldable blank supplying tape for providing the straw closing sleeve are also disclosed.

A straw closing sleeve for closing a drinking end of a straw includes a foldable blank that is converted into a sleeve body. The sleeve body includes a top end wall, two surrounding wall halves that extend downwardly from a peripheral end of the top end wall and that cooperate to define a bottom opening opposite to the top end wall, and a receiving space between the top end wall and the bottom opening, and two adhesively bonded joint portions that are respectively connected to two opposite sides of each of the surrounding wall halves. A foldable blank supplying sheet and a roll of foldable blank supplying tape for providing the straw closing sleeve are also disclosed.

Improved packages and methods for constructing packages are provided that are designed such that the user can peel back a lidding member of the package to reveal an independently peelable portion covering one of the compartments. The independently peelable portion is a layer of the lidding member that maintains the respective compartment in an unopened (sealed) condition until the user independently peels that layer off to access the items in that compartment. The lidding member can be used to re-seal all of the compartments before and/or after the independently peelable portion is removed. The independently peelable portion may include a visual indication of a sealed condition of the compartment that serves as a tamper evidence feature. In multiple-compartment packages, peeling back the lidding member allows the user to access some of the compartments of the package, while at least one of the compartments remains sealed via the independently peelable portion.

Improved packages and methods for constructing packages are provided that are designed such that the user can peel back a lidding member of the package to reveal an independently peelable portion covering one of the compartments. The independently peelable portion is a layer of the lidding member that maintains the respective compartment in an unopened (sealed) condition until the user independently peels that layer off to access the items in that compartment. The lidding member can be used to re-seal all of the compartments before and/or after the independently peelable portion is removed. The independently peelable portion may include a visual indication of a sealed condition of the compartment that serves as a tamper evidence feature. In multiple-compartment packages, peeling back the lidding member allows the user to access some of the compartments of the package, while at least one of the compartments remains sealed via the independently peelable portion.

A cooking bag enclosing a food item to be cooked therein is disclosed. The cooking bag may include a foil pouch having a foil pouch interior surface defining a food pocket therein for receiving and storing the food item and isolating the food item from an ambient atmosphere surrounding the foil pouch. A removable printed film sheet may be affixed to a foil pouch exterior surface by a releasable adhesive. The removable printed film sheet may be separable from the foil pouch exterior surface by peeling the releasable adhesive without breaking the foil pouch and exposing the food pocket and the food item to the ambient atmosphere. The food item may then be cooked in the foil pouch on a grill, in an oven, on a stove or with another appropriate heat source.
