SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus includes a processing tray; a conveyance roller for conveying a sheet towards a downstream side in a sheet conveyance direction; a pinch roller for moving between a first position away from the conveyance roller and a second position close to the conveyance roller, and to sandwich the sheet with the conveyance roller at the second position when the sheet is conveyed by the conveyance roller. The apparatus further includes an extruding member for extruding an upstream end of the sheet from the upstream side towards the downstream side to convey the sheet placed on the processing tray. The apparatus additionally includes a controller for conveying the sheet with the extruding member after the sheet is conveyed by the pinch roller and the conveyance roller when the sheet on the processing tray is conveyed to the downstream side in the sheet conveyance direction.

Postal sorting machine having a sorting outlet jogger provided with a quick-release helical-blade wheel
A postal sorting machine comprises an unstacker in a mailpiece feed inlet, a sorting conveyor, and sorting outlets, each of which is provided with a receptacle designed for storing the mailpieces in a stack and on an edge. Each sorting outlet is provided with a wheel having a helical blade. The wheel projects through an opening in the bottom of the receptacle and is mounted on a transmission shaft. The transmission shaft is disposed under the receptacle to impart a rotary movement to the helical blade so that the helical blade pushes the base of a current mailpiece in the receptacle against the stack of mailpieces that is being formed. The wheel is also mounted on the transmission shaft by being clipped by moving in translation across the axis of rotation of the transmission shaft.

DEVICE FOR HANDLING AND STACKING FLEXIBLE SHEETS
A device for handling/stacking flexible sheets is described that includes: a box-shaped body having an inlet area and an outlet area; a helical conveying element for the flexible sheets, housed in the box-shaped body and extending between the inlet and outlet areas; and a drive assembly connected to the helical conveying element and configured to drive it around a rotation axis. The helical conveying element includes a helical thrust wall, wound helically about the rotation axis and having a thrust surface wound helically about the rotation axis, which, because of the rotation of the helical conveying element about the rotation axis, contacts/pushes the flexible sheets towards the outlet area. The helical conveying element includes a stiffening wall, which protrudes from the thrust wall away from the thrust surface and is wound about the rotation axis for at least one winding section of the thrust wall about the rotation axis.
