LEVER-OPERATED ADJUSTMENT DEVICES, FIT SYSTEMS, AND LINE TENSIONING SYSTEMS
An adjustment device includes a housing supporting a rotatable spool that is operably coupled to a tension line. The spool is configured to rotate about a first axis in a first direction to wind the tension line around the spool and is configured to rotate about the first axis in a second direction opposite the first rotational direction to unwind the at least one tension line from the spool. The device includes a lever pivotally coupled to the housing and configured to rotate about a second axis. The lever is selectively coupled to the spool to drive rotation of the spool in the first direction. The device also includes a release mechanism that is configured to selectively release the spool such that the spool is free to rotate in either the first or second direction in response to manual forces applied to the release mechanism.
MEDIUM CONVEYING APPARATUS
A medium conveying apparatus includes a feed roller to feed a medium, a guide to restrict contact between the medium and the feed roller, a moving mechanism to move the guide, a driving source, and a drive transmission assembly to transmit a driving force for moving the guide from the driving source to the moving mechanism. The drive transmission assembly applies a load to the moving mechanism, and the load restricts transmission of force from the guide to the driving source.
DOCUMENT CONVEYING DEVICE
A document conveying device includes a feed roller, a separation pad, a pad holder, a tension spring, and a separation pad support mechanism. The feed roller and the separation pad form a separation nip at which a sheet is separated and conveyed. The pad holder holds the separation pad and can be turned upward and downward around a turning shaft. The tension spring biases the pad holder upward to press the separation pad against the feed roller. The separation pad support mechanism turns the pad holder in a direction to separate the separation pad from the feed roller against a biasing force of the tension spring.
ROPE TENSIONER
A rope tensioner which includes a take-up reel and a take-up spring. A damping assembly is configured for the take-up reel and includes a follower gear, a damping gear and a damping removal component. The follower gear is configured to rotate synchronously with the take-up reel. The damping gear is movably configured and keeps in damping engagement with the follower gear. The damping removal component is movably configured, and when an external force for removing the damping engagement is applied to the damping removal component, the damping removal component promotes the damping gear to disengage from the follower gear to relieve or remove the damping engagement. The situation where a hook rebounds under the action of inertia when a rope is taken up and hits against products and even causes injuries to users is avoided.
Column Gap Cover System
A column gap cover system that includes right and left columns with toothed wheels intended to be fixed to a furniture, right and left ratchet clamps including a half-round clamp and a pawl connected together by a spring, and a sheet of fabric that its ends are connected to the clamps. The system is intended to cover a gap between the columns. The clamps are assembled on the columns and the pawls engage dips between the teeth of the toothed wheels, and the spring secure the pawls to the wheels, by that fastening the clamps to the columns. The clamps are manually rotatable on the columns, allowing the user to tension the sheet and engage the pawls in the appropriate dips to maintain the fabric in a taut state.
