Retractable pet leash with variable brake
The present invention is a retractable pet leash with a variable brake system to control a pet. The variable braking system can be engaged or disengaged by the user via 3 methods. The first method is via a handle that is directly connected to the brake. The second method, also actuated by the user is a one touch brake system that uses the rotation of the reel to slowly apply the variable brake over several rotations of the reel. The third method allows the user to set the length of the leash cord and when the set length of the cord is met, engages the one touch brake system. The retractable pet leash provides a system to set the length of the leash cord being let out and ensures that the leash cord is kept taught between the user and the pet and notifies the user when the set length has been reached and applies variable braking in a steady and predictable manner to smoothly stop the pet.
SELF-RETRACTING REEL
A retractable reel system includes a reel, a gear assembly, a paddle wheel and a spring. The reel includes a concentric wheel shaft where the reel and wheel shaft rotate to wind and unwind a length of material from the reel. The gear assembly engages with an end of the wheel shaft to provide a gear reduction ratio between the wheel shaft and an output shaft of the gear assembly. The paddle wheel is connected to and concentric with the output shaft, and the paddle wheel includes a paddle that extends beyond an outer edge of the paddle wheel that rotates with the paddle wheel. The spring is arranged outside the outer edge of the paddle wheel. The spring is compressed by the paddle to store an energy when the reel is rotated to unwind the length of material from the reel. The stored energy is used to rotate the reel to wind the length of material around the reel.

ACTIVE BALANCING SEED LIFT
A crystal growing system includes a rotating seed lift assembly to rotate and lift a seed crystal supported by a cable. The seed lift assembly includes a spool that rotates to wrap the cable around the spool, thus raising the cable. As the spool rotates, it moves in an axial direction to avoid displacing the cable in the axial direction. A leadscrew in a counterweight assembly is mechanically coupled to the spool via a coupling (e.g., a sprocket-and-chain coupling coupled to the spool spindle). As the spool rotates, the leadscrew thus rotates at a rate proportional to the spool's rate of rotation. A movable counterweight driven by the leadscrew is thus driven to move in a direction opposite the axial direction (e.g., opposite the movement of the spool). The counterweight assembly is thus configured to offset center-of-mass changes that would have otherwise been introduced by movement of the spool.
Pet leash preventing locking due to jerk
A pet leash preventing locking due to jerk includes a housing provided with a handle and a reel disk arranged in the housing. The reel disk is rotatably connected to the housing. A leash rope is wound on the reel disk. One end of the leash rope penetrates through the housing. The housing is provided with a rotary damper. A clutch structure is provided between the reel disk and the rotary damper, and is actuable under a centrifugal force to connect the reel disk to the rotary damper when a rotation speed of the reel disk exceeds a predetermined rotation speed.
A WINDING DEVICE FOR WINDING BINDING MATERIAL
A binding material winding device for winding binding material from an object tied with said binding material comprises a guiding member and a winding member. The binding material is e.g. a strap, wire or string. The guiding member is arranged to be introduced with the binding material and configured to guide said binding material towards said winding member. The winding member is configured to be introduced with said binding material during actuation of said winding member and thereby wind and remove said binding material via said actuation.
Retracting Systems for Providing Access to Adapters
An adapter system is provided that facilitates convenient access to a plurality of adapters, e.g., DVI-D to HDMI adapter(s), Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter(s), Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), DisplayPort to HDMI adapter(s), VGA to HDMI adapter(s), MNL to HDMI adapter(s), and/or USB to HDMI adapter(s). The adapter system includes an elongated wire that features a plurality of adapters mounted/secured with respect thereto. The wire is at least partially stored within a housing and extends therefrom. The adapters are mounted/secured with respect to a portion of the wire that extends from the housing. The housing includes a retraction mechanism that facilitates retraction of the wire into the housing for convenient storage thereof. The present disclosure further provides structures that are configured and dimensioned to receive the disclosed housing, e.g., in office, commercial and/or residential environments, thereby facilitating access to the adapters that are mounted/secured with respect to the wire. In use, the disclosed adapter system permits a user to readily access and individually utilize each of the adapters mounted/secured with respect to the wire on an as-needed basis and to store at least the portion of the wire that does not include mounted/secured adapters within a housing. Retraction of the wire into the housing is facilitated by the disclosed retraction mechanism.
Manual reel retractable leash apparatus
A manual reel retractable leash apparatus for manually retracting a leash to control a dog includes a retractable leash spool coupled within a leash body. A leash is windingly coupled around the leash spool and extends through a leash aperture of the leash body. A crank housing is coupled to the leash body and a drive mechanism is coupled within crank housing. The drive mechanism is in operational communication with the leash spool and an outer face of the crank housing. A crank handle is coupled to the outer face to provide a place for a user to rotate the crank housing to power the drive mechanism and retract the leash.
Coiler with Accompanying Attachments and Bag
A bag on which a coiler may attach. A coiling device that allows for attachments to be affixed to it, whether or not the coiler is attached to a bag. Attachments comprising a brush clip comprising a quickdraw setter/remover, brush, and other useful items.
FASTENING DEVICE
A fastening device includes a case unit, a spool, a driving unit, a knob and a connecting unit. The case unit includes an annular wall surrounding an inner space, and a base detachably and directly coupled to the annular wall. The spool is located within the inner space. The driving unit is located within the inner space and selectively prohibits the spool from rotating in a loosening direction. The knob is disposed on the annular wall. The connecting unit is connected to at least one of the knob, the spool and the driving unit without passing through the base and restricted by at least one of the annular wall, the spool and the driving unit such that the annular wall, the spool, the driving unit and the knob are combined integrally.
