CONTROL METHOD FOR AN ELEVATOR CONTROL SYSTEM
An elevator control method for an elevator system including cars movable in an elevator shaft of a building the building being dividable into serving sectors each serving sector including at least one floor to be served by a car, and a recording device for recording car usage data, the recording device being dedicated to the cars, wherein the recording device forwards the car usage data to an elevator controller receiving the car usage data for creating car-logbook-data. The method of division of the serving sectors is decided on evaluation-analysis of the car-logbook-data by gathering and storing the car usage data over a period of time into a memory of the elevator controller and allocating a serving sector in dependency of the evaluation-analysis of the car usage data respectively.
Elevator control systems
An elevator control system for controlling a plurality of elevators in an elevator bank includes a processor in communication with a non-transitory memory, and a networking device. The processor executes software instructions that cause the elevator control system to receive an elevator call placed by at least one of a user and a mobile device of the user. The elevator control system wirelessly communicates with the mobile device to determine an elevator criteria set by the user on the mobile device via an elevator control application. The elevator criteria comprises a preference and a requirement. The software instructions allow the processor to determine whether an elevator in the elevator bank meets the requirement and the preference, and an elevator that meets at least the requirement is automatically assigned to the user.
ELEVATOR GROUP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An elevator group management system includes: a hall call registration device which is provided at a first hall; a hall destination call registration device which is provided at a second hall; a notification device which is provided at the first hall; an assigned car display device which is provided at the second hall; and a group management control device which selects a priority car from among a plurality of cars. When a priority car is selected, the group management control device performs, with respect to a hall call to which the priority car is already assigned, hall call control which differs from control with respect to a hall destination call to which the priority car is already assigned.
OUT-OF-GROUP OPERATIONS FOR MULTICAR HOISTWAY SYSTEMS
A ropeless elevator system includes a plurality of elevator cars configured to travel in a hoistway having at least one lane, a propulsion system to impart force to each elevator car of the plurality of elevator cars, and a controller. The controller is programmed to operate in an in-group mode where the plurality of elevator cars perform service demands, an out-of-group mode where at least one selected elevator car of the plurality of elevator cars is prevented from performing the group service mode service demands, and a transition mode where the at least one selected elevator car is prepared and transitioned from operation in the in-group mode to operation in the out-of-group mode.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING ELEVATOR
Disclosed herein are an elevator control method and an elevator control system. The elevator control method includes the steps of: receiving a request signal from a robot; registering an elevator control signal to control operation of an elevator based on the request signal; determining whether a current situation corresponds to an exceptional situation in which operation of the elevator dictated by the elevator control signal conflicts with an actual state of the robot based on an image acquired by a camera disposed in the elevator, a location of the robot, and a situation at a platform; maintaining the currently registered elevator control signal based on determination that the current situation corresponds to the exceptional situation; and clearing the currently registered elevator control signal based on determination that the current situation corresponds to the exceptional situation.
Allocation of calls in a lift installation
A method of allocating calls of a lift installation with at least one lift and at least one car per lift to move passengers in a journey from at least one input floor to at least one destination floor, a system for executing the method and a computer readable memory with instructions for executing the method. The method includes receiving input calls from passengers travelling from an input floor to a destination floor, each call identifying at least one floor as an input floor or a destination floor. A start zone with identified input floors and a destination zone with identified destination floors are determined from the input calls and destination calls. Each identified floor within a corresponding zone is considered using at least one selection criterion and a stopping floor is selected which satisfies the criterion. The car is caused to stop at fewer than all the identified input floors and identified destination floors during the journey.
Operational entity and a multicar elevator system for controlling movement of a plurality of elevator cars of a multicar elevator system
An operational entity for controlling movement of a plurality of elevator cars of a multicar elevator system includes a user interface having a first input element and a second input element. The user interface generates, on the basis of the first input element, an indication of selection of at least one elevator car from among the plurality of elevator cars to be moved; and generates, on the basis of the second input element, one or more control signals indicative of a request to control the movement of the selected at least one elevator car in a predefined direction. A multicar elevator system including the operational entity is provided.
ELEVATOR SYSTEM CONFIGURED TO PROVIDE CAR TONE BASED ON USER FEEDBACK
An elevator system having: an elevator car having a door opening; a controller configured to control the elevator car; and a car call implement configured transmit a first request to the controller to instruct the elevator car to travel to a lobby to pickup a user, wherein the first request includes an arrival chime code indicative of an arrival chime, selected from a plurality of the arrival chimes, audibly played by a speaker proximate to the car door opening when the elevator car arrives at the landing.
ELEVATOR CALL ALLOCATION
According to an aspect, there is provided a method for elevator call allocation in an elevator group comprising a plurality of elevator cars. The method comprises detecting a logistic operation associated with an elevator car, the elevator car being stationary at a floor, and limiting allocation of new elevator calls to the elevator car in the elevator group in response to detecting the logistic operation.
Method and system for controlling elevator for robot passengers
A method of controlling an elevator includes detecting that a robot providing a service on a floor within a building has gotten on an elevator moving through floors within the building, and controlling the elevator to move to a floor where the robot is to provide the service. At least one of the internal user interface and the external user interface of the elevator is configured to indicate whether the robot is using the elevator.
