RELOCATION MODULES AND METHODS FOR SURGICAL FIELD
Examples of a module for housing unrelated electronic and electromechanical equipment for use during surgery. The module can include a lower section and a tower-like upper section. The lower section can house unrelated electronic and electromechanical equipment. The tower-like upper section can be located on top of the lower section. A water-resistant cowling can enclose at least a portion of the lower section and the tower-like upper section. A cartridge containing one or more ultraviolet-C producing lights can be protectively housed within the tower-like upper section. The cartridge containing one or more ultraviolet-C producing lights can be configured to emerge upward from a top of the tower-like upper section to substantially seat itself on the top of the tower-like upper section when activated allowing the ultraviolet-C light to disinfect the patient and staff-contacting upper surfaces of the equipment in the operating room.
Relocation module and methods for surgical equipment
Modules for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a system to measure and record administration of one or more IV medications or fluids for IV administration.
Filter Securement Assembly
A method for filtering airborne particulates is described. The method includes providing an exhaust hood, and the exhaust hood defines an intake and the exhaust hood being adapted to receive airborne particulates via the intake. The method also includes conveying a portion of a filter media from a media source area to an active media area, transferring the portion of the filter media from the active media area to a media discard area, the media discard area and the media source area being disposed on substantially opposed sides of the active media area, and severing the portion of the filter media in the media discard area from a remainder of the filter media.
METHOD FOR INTERMITTENTLY CLEANING A FILTER, AND FILTER DEVICE FOR A METAL PRINTING DEVICE
The invention relates to a method for intermittently cleaning a filter in a filter device, which filter device comprises a filter housing and the filter located therein. The filter housing has a medium inlet and a medium outlet for a medium to be filtered. During filter operation, the medium flowing through the medium inlet passes through the filter and exits the filter device via the medium outlet. In order to clean the filter, both the medium inlet and the medium outlet are closed and a negative pressure is produced in the filter housing and a flushing medium is sucked into the filter housing by the negative pressure.
METHODS FOR WETTING FILTRATION MEDIA UTILIZED IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
A method for wetting volatile material positioned on a filter from an additive manufacturing process includes passing a passivation fluid to an interior space of a filtration system including an outer housing, a filtration medium, detecting an amount of passivation fluid passed to the interior space with a volume detection device, determining whether the amount of passivation fluid passed to the interior space is less than a configurable threshold, in response to determining that the amount of passivation fluid passed to the interior space is less than the configurable threshold, continuing to pass the passivation fluid to the interior space, and in response to determining that the amount of passivation fluid passed to the interior space is not less than the configurable threshold, stopping the passing of passivation fluid to the interior space.
Relocation module and methods for surgical equipment
Modules for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a system to measure and record administration of one or more IV medications or fluids for IV administration.
Medical module including automated dose-response record system
An automated dose-response record system including a module for housing waste-heat producing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including at least one physiologic monitor, and including a system to measure, temporally correlate and record dose and response events.
Relocation module and methods for surgical equipment
An anesthetic equipment storage and waste air management module configured to housing electronic and electromechanical surgical equipment including a system to measure and record administration of one or more IV medications or fluids for IV administration. The module can include a housing having a lower section and a tower-like upper section, wherein the lower section is configured to house unrelated waste heat-producing electronic and electromechanical surgical equipment. The module can also include a cowling that substantially confines waste heat generated by the unrelated waste heat-producing electronic and electromechanical surgical equipment, and can include a system for measuring and recording the administration of the one or more IV medications and fluids.
SMART VENT SYSTEM FOR LOCALIZED AIR QUALITY CONTROL
An environmental control system for a building, the system including a vent. The vent includes one or more louvers configured to change position between an open position and a closed position to permit air from the air duct to enter a zone of the building or stop the air from entering the zone and a vent circuit configured to operate the one or more louvers based on one or more control commands. The system includes a controller device including a processing circuit configured to receive a selection of an operating profile from a plurality of predefined operating profiles for the vent, each of the plurality of predefined operating profiles indicating an intended use of the zone, determine, based on the operating profile, the one or more control commands, and cause the vent circuit to operate the one or more louvers based on the one or more control commands.
Three-dimensional printer with two state filter for powdered metal
A three-dimensional printing system for manufacturing three-dimensional articles includes an apparatus, a filtration system, and a controller. The apparatus is a fabrication system that generates ignitable powder dust in an inert atmosphere fluid stream. The filtration system receives the fluid stream and has a plurality of filter units in a parallel arrangement including at least a first filter unit and a second filter unit. The controller is configured to control the filtration unit and to thereby individually operate the plurality of filter units in two states including a filtration state and an oxidation state. When one of the plurality of filter units is operating in the filtration state another of the plurality of filter units is operating in the oxidation state.
