MULTIFUNCTIONAL AIR POLLUTION REDUCTION DEVICE
A multifunctional air pollution reduction device includes a tool and a multifunctional pollutant remover. The multifunctional pollutant remover is adjacent to or integrated with the tool. The multifunctional pollutant remover can not only reduce air pollution, but also help reduce one or more of the following problems when using the tools: noise, vibration and/or slip.
Method for inter-bed cooling in wet gas sulfuric acid plants
In a method for cooling of process gas between catalytic layers or beds in a sulfuric acid plant, in which sulfuric acid is produced from feed gases containing sulfurous components like SO.sub.2, H.sub.2S, CS.sub.2 and COS or liquid feeds like molten sulfur or spent sulfuric acid, one or more boilers, especially water tube boilers, are used instead of conventional steam superheaters to cool the process gas between the catalytic beds in the SO.sub.2 converter of the plant. Thereby a less complicated and more cost efficient heat exchanger layout is obtained.
Removing acetylene from ethylene gas streams during polyethylene synthesis
Disclosed herein are methods for removing acetylene from an ethylene gas stream wherein a catalyst reacts with the acetylene to polymerize said acetylene forming an ethylene gas stream substantially free of acetylene.
POWER-TO-X SYSTEM WITH AN OPTIMIZED HYDROGEN DRYING AND PURIFYING PROCESS
A power-to-X system having an electrolyzer and an energy converter which are connected together via a hydrogen line. The system additionally has a chemical reactor for catalytically removing oxygen, a first heat exchanger, a water separator, a store, and a humidifier which are connected into the hydrogen line in the stated order one behind the other between the electrolyzer and the energy converter. A second heat exchanger is arranged in the hydrogen line such that a first side of the second heat exchanger is arranged in front of the first heat exchanger and a second side of the second heat exchanger is arranged downstream of the water separator in the hydrogen line.
AIR PURIFIER
Provided is an air cleaner, and more specifically, to an air cleaner in which a filter part using a photocatalyst is formed in a module type to facilitate replacement and cleaning and which includes an insert fan which is disposed inward from a suction port of a casing forming an exterior and including the suction port disposed at one side and a discharge port disposed at the other side, and suctions ambient air, a driving motor provided to be axially detachably coupled to the insert fan in a direction from the discharge port, and a suction unit fixing part in which an accommodation space, into which the insert fan and the driving motor are fixedly inserted in the direction from the suction port toward the discharge port and which is finished by inserting a cover member in the direction from the discharge port.
Ozone Purification Catalyst and Preparation Method and Application Thereof
An ozone purification catalyst, and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof are provided. The catalyst coating uses macroporous, high specific surface and CeO.sub.2 and/or La.sub.2O.sub.3 modified Al.sub.2O.sub.3 as the carrier material, and Mn and/or Pd as the active component. The preparation method is to prepare the Al.sub.2O.sub.3-based material by a sol-gel method, and then to load the active components on the carrier material, and to dry, calcinate and solidify to obtain the ozone purification catalyst. The catalysts as prepared shows a fast and efficient purification of ozone. The complete conversion temperature covers a wide range of temperature. The catalyst has excellent texture performance, high specific surface area and large pore volume, which is beneficial to ozone purification when the car is running at high speed. The particle sizes and colors of the catalyst can be modified according to various requirements. According to the actual application, it can be coated on the radiator fins of automobile water tanks, and any place where coating is allowed in public areas such as urban bus stations, stop signs, kiosks, roadside guardrails, or exterior walls of buildings that is in contact with outdoor air.
PRETREATMENT DESULFURIZATION METHOD FOR SHIP FUEL OIL USING PRETREATMENT DESULFURIZATION AGENT
Proposed is a pretreatment desulfurization method for marine fuel oil. The method includes a step of preparing a pretreatment desulfurization agent including (a) at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of SiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, TiO2, MgO, MnO, CaO, Na2O, K2O, and P2O3, (b) at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Li, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Sr, Cd, and Pb, and (c) at least one liquid composition selected from the group consisting of sodium tetraborate (Na2B4O7.10H2O), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), sodium silicate (Na2SiO3). and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The method also includes a step of feeding the pretreatment desulfurization agent to a fuel supply line through which marine fuel oil is supplied to a marine engine at a certain ratio so that a fluid mixture containing the marine fuel oil and the pretreatment desulfurization agent is supplied to the marine engine, thereby adsorbing and removing sulfur oxides during combustion of the fluid mixture.
EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION CATALYST COMPOSITION AND EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION CATALYST
An object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst composition and an exhaust gas purification catalyst, each of which includes a pyrochlore-type CeO.sub.2—ZrO.sub.2-based complex oxide having an improved oxygen storage capacity (particularly, an improved oxygen storage capacity after being exposed to a high temperature environment), and, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides an exhaust gas purification catalyst composition and an exhaust gas purification catalyst, each of which contains a pyrochlore-type CeO.sub.2—ZrO.sub.2-based complex oxide that contains Y and Mg and thus exhibits an excellent oxygen storage capacity (particularly, an excellent oxygen storage capacity after being exposed to a high temperature environment).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEPARATION OF CO2 FROM A GASEOUS MIXTURE, COLLECTION, AND CONVERSION
Systems for separating and concentrating CO.sub.2 from air or a gas include a vortex tube designed for separating and concentrating CO.sub.2 from a gaseous input stream. The vortex tube has an operating design pressure of between 105 psi and 280 psi above atmospheric pressure and produces a concentrated CO.sub.2 outlet stream.
