HYDROCARBON ADSORBENT WITH METAL-IMPREGNATED ZEOLITE PARTICLE HAVING REGULAR MESOPORE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

The present invention relates to a hydrocarbon adsorbent with metal-impregnated zeolite particles having regular mesopores and a manufacturing method therefor. The hydrocarbon adsorbent includes a metal cation and a metal oxide that are impregnated in zeolite particles, in particular, the zeolite particles include regularly formed mesopores having a size of 2 to 10. By adjusting a Si/Al ratio and mesoporosity of the mesopores, a hydrocarbon adsorbent may have increased adsorption capacity for hydrocarbons in a cold-start section and can rapidly oxidize the hydrocarbon upon desorption thereof, thereby reducing the discharge of exhaust gas produced in automobiles and industries.

GAS PURIFICATION PROCESSING APPARATUS

A gas purification processing apparatus is described. The gas purification processing apparatus can control the generation of adsorption heat by an adsorbate substance in purification processing and thereby prevent desorption or ignition or the like of the adsorbate component by performing cooling processing on an adsorbent itself when needed. This advantageously ensures high adsorption efficiency with a simple and convenient configuration. During operation of the apparatus, gas is supplied from the source and purified by a purification part and then discharged as a purified gas. When the temperature of the purification part exceeds a predetermined temperature, a cooling medium is supplied from the cooling processing part to cool the purification part.

Hybrid Thermal Oxidizer Systems and Methods

Hybrid thermal oxidizer systems and methods for combusting waste gas and heating utility oil using an efficient transfer of heat from fuel gas. The hybrid thermal oxidizer includes a combustion chamber, a gas preheater and a quench chamber positioned between the combustion chamber and the gas preheater. The combustion chamber burns impurities in the waste gas to produce an exhaust gas. The gas preheater preheats the waste gas before burning impurities in the combustion chamber. And, the quench chamber controls a temperature of the exhaust gas before preheating the waste gas.
