Apparatus and method for automatic plant trimming tumbler
11369974 · 2022-06-28 ·

Embodiments of the present invention pertain to a tiltable tumbler for use in a plant trimming machine. Plants are placed in a tumbler. As the tumbler rotates, leaves extending through slots in the tumbler by a vacuum are trimmed off. A mechanism is used to adjust the tilt of the tumbler. Thereby, the rate by which the plant material in the tumbler is processed is faster with a higher tilt or slower with a lower tilt. The degree of tilt is adjustable either manually or automatically via a computer.

A handheld system and method for storing and grinding herbs—such as, but not limited to tobacco, marijuana and the like. The device having three main components: a first component being a two-part, hermetically sealed case allowing herbs to be stored therein; a second component being a crusher with axial star blades; and a third component being a finger wheel allowing a user to rotated said crusher thereby reducing herb clusters to a consistent aggregate according to a user's preference. The hermetically sealed case allowing a user to then store aggregated herbs therein. An object of the invention is to allow a user to crush and store herbs in a portable, sealed container.

Cutting device for cutting leaves from flowers of plants
20220258172 · 2022-08-18 ·

A cutting device 1 for cutting leaves from flowers of plants has a rotating drum 7 into which the flowers to be treated can be placed. The drum 7 has two spaced rings 9 and 11 between which a number of elongate wall elements 13 extend. During operation, the leaves to be cut protrude through the openings 17 between the wall elements and are cut off there by revolving knives 21. Tensioning means 29 are integrated in the drum 7 for keeping the wall elements 13 taut. The tensioning means 29 have an elongated tensioning element 31 that at one end is connected to one of the rings 9 and at the other end is connected to the other ring 11. The tensioning means 29 can move the rings away from each other and thereby bring the wall elements 13 under tension.

The suspension includes an end position limit.

Material processing machine with a colorizer system and methods of reducing and colorizing waste material
11110467 · 2021-09-07 · ·

A material processing machine for material reducing operations. The material processing machine comprises an infeed system, a reducing system, and a discharge system. The reducing system comprises a rotor having processing tools to reduce the material within a reducing chamber. A colorizer system directs colorant from a colorant source towards the material reducing system within an outlet zone. The colorant colorizes the material being reduced within an inlet zone. The reduced material may be discharged through one or more screens within the outlet zone such that negligible colorant is applied directly to the reduced material. The material reducing operations may comprise a two-stage reducing operation in which the colorizer system is inoperable for the first stage and operable for the second stage. The screens may be selectively interchangeable between stages to incrementally reduce the material to provide substantially uniform colorizing and material size.
