A clamping apparatus includes a clamping frame, a first guide, a clamp, a linear driver, and a pressure sensor. The first guide is disposed on the clamping frame. The clamp is slideably engaged with the first guide, the clamp being configured to linearly move along the first guide to adjust a distance between the clamp and the clamping frame. The linear driver is connected to the clamp, the linear driver being configured to cause, at least in part, linear motion of the clamp. The pressure sensor is configured to sense pressure applied to an object clamped between the clamp and the clamping frame.

DEVICE FOR THE LOCKING OF PIECES ON MACHINE TOOLS
The device (1) for the locking of pieces on machine tools comprises:a base body (2, 3, 4) fixable to a machine tool (M);a gripping assembly (5, 6, 7) for gripping a piece (P) to be machined having a cavity (C) with a cavity axis (A1), the gripping assembly (5, 6, 7) comprising:a main head (5) having a main axis (A3) and associated with the base body (2, 3, 4) with a lateral play adapted to allow the shift of the main head (5) along a plane of alignment (B) substantially orthogonal to the main axis (A3);at least two self-centering locking elements (6) associated with the main head (5) in a movable way; andmovement means (7) of the self-centering locking elements (6);removable locking means (18) adapted to temporarily lock the main head (5).
Clamping device
A clamping device has a pair of first and second clamping arms rotatably supported with respect to a body, and a cam member having a cam surface is removably provided at one end of each of the first and second clamping arms. A pair of rollers pivotally supported by a block body constituting a drive unit are each in contact with the cam member. By a descent of the block body under the driving action of the drive unit, the cam surface of the cam member is pressed by the rollers, and the cam surface inclined in the displacement direction of the block body and recessed in a cross-sectional arc shape is pressed.
Air chuck
An air chuck includes: a finger support part including a pair of fingers; a chuck main body part including an operation mechanism operable to open and close the pair of fingers; and linking mechanisms that detachably link the finger support part to the chuck main body part. The linking mechanisms each include: a linking shaft that extends from the finger support part; a shaft insertion hole formed in a body of the chuck main body part; a catch body that becomes elastically caught on a catch surface of the linking shaft when the linking shaft is inserted into the shaft insertion hole; and a delinking member that is manually operated so as to release the catch body caught on the catch surface when the finger support part is detached from the chuck main body part.
MODULAR CLAMPING SYSTEM
A clamping system includes a housing, a clamping lever pivotally coupled relative to the housing, a clamping arm pivotally coupled relative to the housing and the clamping lever, and an expandable link coupled to the clamping arm. The clamping lever and the clamping arm are rotatable from an open position to a closed position. A method of mounting a device on a substrate using the clamping system is also provided.
ARRANGEMENT FOR WORKING A TUBE END
An arrangement for working a tube end includes: an operating cylinder with a piston displaceable along an longitudinal axis; and a tube mounting, a tool holder being provided at an end of the piston facing the tube mounting. The operating cylinder is provided as a tandem cylinder. At least two cylinder stages are offset along the longitudinal axis. The piston includes connected piston segments, each piston segment being allocated to a cylinder stage.
Expanding locating pin with controlled holding force
An expanding locating pin assembly configured to locate and hold a part includes a housing, a locating pin, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The housing is configured with a plurality of radial jaw guides and a part rest face. The locating pin has a plurality of jaws connected to and radially movable in the radial jaw guides and extending past the part rest face. The actuating mechanism synchronously moves the jaws to a radial position and applies a holding force to the part. The controller controls the radial position and the holding force of the jaws. The part rest face of the housing and the jaws of the locating pin are configured to receive the part in a located position. The jaws of the locating pin are configured to hold the part in the located position via the holding force and a friction force resulting from the holding force.
Expanding locating and clamping pin
An expanding locating and clamping pin assembly configured to locate and clamp a part includes a housing, a locating pin, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The housing is configured with a plurality of radial jaw guides and a part rest face. The locating pin has a plurality of jaws radially movable in the radial jaw guides, extending past the part rest face, and configured with a part clamping feature. The actuating mechanism is connected to the housing and the jaws and is configured to synchronously move the jaws to a radial position and to apply the clamping force. The controller controls the radial position of the jaws and the clamping force.
