SWITCH ASSEMBLY FOR A RATCHET WRENCH
A ratchet wrench includes a head for receiving a toothed wheel and two detents. A switch assembly includes an auxiliary element, a disc and a switch. The auxiliary element includes a horizontal plate supported on the handle and a vertical plate with two slant portions. The disc includes an engaging aperture between two hooks. The switch includes a central aperture and an extension inserted in the engaging aperture so that the disc and the switch are rotatable together. A screw is inserted in the handle through the central aperture of the switch and the engaging aperture of the disc. The switch is operable to rotate the disc to cause one of the hooks to hook and engage the first detent with the toothed wheel while the second detent pushes one of the slant portions so that the other slant portion pushes the first detent against the toothed wheel.
Screwing Tool, Reversible In Rotation Direction, Encased In An Electrically Insulating Manner
A screwing tool with an output shaft protruding in the direction of a rotation axis from a gear head having a free-run locking mechanism, which output shaft is rotatable in a stepwise manner in a rotation direction by a movement to and fro of a grip arm protruding from the gear head in radial direction, wherein the gear head, a portion of the output shaft adjoining the gear head, and the grip have an electrically insulating casing. In order to further develop such a screwing tool with regard to manufacture and advantageously with regard to use, the invention proposes that the casing has several parts and parts of the casing engage into one another at their sites adjoining one another in the manner of a labyrinth seal.
Ratchet screwdriver
A ratchet screwdriver includes a mounting seat, a control member, a driving shaft, two pawls and two springs. The mounting seat has a receiving space, a first slot and a second slot. A passage is defined through the mounting seat. The first and second slots have a hole respectively. The driving shaft has a ratchet portion located in the receiving space. Each pawl is biased by one spring so as to be engaged with the ratchet portion. The control member is rotatably mounted to the mounting seat and the driving shaft. The control member has two control plates to pivot the pawls to disengage from the ratchet portion of the driving shaft.
Tool with a ratchet mechanism
A hand tool or wrench with a ratcheting mechanism. The wrench includes a number of components such as an abutting block and a pawl for use in a bistable ratchet operation. The wrench includes a ratchet mechanism that provides stable seating of the components, so that the mechanism is securely retained in a driving mode, as well as enabling a user to select a driving mechanism with ease so as to improve work efficiency.
RATCHET HEAD WITH SAFETY SWITCH MECHANISM
A ratchet head has a mount, a knob, and a restricting unit. The mount has an assembling hole, and two positioning recesses disposed on both sides of the assembling hole. The two positioning recesses are parallel to each other and communicate with the assembling hole. The knob is rotatably assembled to the mount and has a shaft inserted in the assembling hole and having an abutting section with two first abutting faces and two second abutting faces. The two first abutting faces are parallel to each other. The two second abutting faces are parallel to each other. The restricting unit with elasticity has two arms respectively mounted in the two positioning recesses, respectively disposed on both sides of the shaft, and respectively abutting against the two first abutting faces that respectively face to the two positioning recesses. The restricting unit is able to steadily maintain the operating directions of the ratchet head.
Clench wrench
A clench wrench includes a structure defining a handle and an engaging head. The engaging head has a front side and a back side and includes an engaging space extending through the front and back sides. The engaging space defines an opening on both the front and back sides. A clenching device is mounted on the engaging head and includes a clenching member. The clenching member includes a clenching portion and is operable in a first mode in which the clenching portion is located at a first position capable of clenching the object engaged with the engaging head, and in a second mode in which the clenching portion is disposed away from the engaging space and is located at a second position capable of letting the object engaged with the engaging head to disengage therefrom.
Hinged ratchet wrench
The ratchet wrench comprises a functional head (1) and a handle (2) hingedly connected to each other, a ratchet toothed wheel (4) rigidly attached to the functional head (1), a movable ratchet pawl (5) installed on the handle (2), a working spring (6) that biases the ratchet pawl (5) against the ratchet wheel (4), a movable releasing member (7) installed on the handle (2) and manually operable to move the ratchet pawl (5) to a position out of engagement with the ratchet wheel (4), and a movable locking element (69) installed on the handle (2) and manually operable between a rest position, in which it does not interfere with the ratchet pawl (5), and a locking position, in which it comes into contact with the ratchet pawl (5) holding it in said engaged position with the ratchet wheel (4).
INSTRUMENTS FOR USE DURING SPINE SURGERY
Surgical instruments and devices including drivers, inserters, and reducers. The driver includes a ratcheting mechanism configured to provide uni-directional motion when engaged. The inserter includes a rack, pinion, and cam system designed to secure an implant and release an implant in-situ. The reducer includes a geared system for persuading together surgical components and aligning misaligned vertebrae.
INSULATING RATCHET DRIVER WITH PIVOTING HEAD
An insulating ratchet driver with pivoting head has: a handle, a spring, a pressing knob, a driving head and a pivoting member. The pivoting member is provided with a cover made of an insulating material. All metal portions of the handle, the pressing knob and the driving head are coated with an insulating layer.
