The first end portion includes a through hole. The screw rod penetrates through the through hole. The screw barrel is screwed on the screw rod. The bearing is sleeved to the screw rod and includes an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of rollers. The inner ring includes a first base board and a first annular portion which are transversely connected with each other, and the outer ring includes a second base board and a second annular portion which are transversely connected with each other. The plurality of rollers are abutted against and between the first and second base boards and between the first and second ring portions.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRELOADING A BEARING AND ALIGNING A LOCK NUT
A system for use in providing a load on a bearing mounted to a shaft includes a preload apparatus having a first extension and a second extension engageable with an inner race of the bearing and configured to provide a compressive load to the bearing. The first extension has a first projection and the second extension has a second projection. A stop ring is configured to limit a radially inward movement of the first extension and the second extension toward each other to position the first projection and the second projection relative to the bearing.
Tool and method for removal of variable stator vane bushing
A tool for removal of a bushing (such as a bushing of a variable stator vane assembly of a compressor) is provided. The tool includes a cylindrical housing, a lead screw, a threaded nut, and a pulling module with puller arms to engage the bushing. The housing defines a longitudinal axis along which the lead screw extends. The lead screw is rotatably secured within the cylindrical housing by a threaded nut engaged with the lead screw. The pulling module is removably attached to the threaded nut, such that the lead screw passes through the threaded nut before passing through the pulling module. The pulling module is provided with a pair of oppositely disposed puller arms, and each puller arm is provided with a hook portion having an engagement tab configured to engage a respective notch on the bushing. A method of removing the bushing using the tool is also disclosed.
ASSEMBLY TOOL FOR CHANGING BUSHINGS FOR LOWER ARM
An assembly tool for changing bushings for a lower arm includes a bushing connecting part into which a bushing is inserted and a main shaft inserted into components. A main adapter assembling unit supports or presses the bushing and a detachment adapter receives the bushing when detaching the bushing. A mounting adapter supports a first end of the bushing when mounting the bushing and a mounting guide ring guides an insertion depth of the bushing when mounting the bushing so that components used to change the bushings may be assembled in accordance with a shape of a lower arm on which the bushing is to be mounted.
Shaft Driving Tool
A tool for driving a shaft a shaft within an apertured member, the tool incorporating a segmented sleeve having upper, lower, and medial segments, each segment having upper and lower ends, a hollow bore of the lower segment being helically threaded; a shaft biasing screw mounted within the lower segment's hollow bore, ; upper and lower joints, the upper joint connecting the upper end of the screw with the upper segment, and the lower joint connecting the medial segment with the lower segment; a first gear component attached to the upper segment; a support frame attached to the medial segment; a second gear component mounted rotatably upon the support frame, the second gear component being positioned for rotating the first gear component; a rotary power input stem fixedly attached to the second gear component; and a clamp or hook arms adapted for positioning the apertured member beneath the screw's shaft biasing lower end.
BUSHING INSERTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An insertion system for inserting a bushing assembly into a housing opening in a structural member comprising a brace assembly, an actuator assembly, and a drive plate. The brace assembly comprises a brace rod, an anchor member defining an anchor member recess, and a brace nut. The actuator assembly comprises an actuator housing defining an actuator housing opening and a drive member defining a drive member opening. The drive plate defines a drive plate recess. The anchor member acts on the structural member and the brace nut acts on the actuator assembly. Operation of the actuator assembly displaces the drive plate. Displacement of the drive plate displaces the bushing assembly into the housing opening.
Tool for Detaching Parts from Vehicles
A tool includes an operative rod, a guiding rod, a conveying screw and two detaching elements. The guiding rod includes a middle section connected to the operative rod and two terminal sections extending from the middle section. The conveying screw includes two threaded sections. Threads of the threaded sections extend in opposite directions. Each of the detaching elements includes a fixing aperture and a screw hole. The fixing aperture receives a corresponding one of the terminal sections of the guiding rod. The screw hole receives a corresponding one of the threaded sections of the conveying screw. Thus, the detaching elements are moved toward each other when the conveying screw is rotated in a first direction and that the detaching elements are moved from each other when the conveying screw is rotated in a second direction.
Device for extracting and inserting bushes
A device (10) for extracting and inserting bushes (20) is described, comprising a short pipe (11) with two longitudinal slits (16), a tie-rod (12) capable of being inserted in the short pipe (11), a traction bracket (15) capable of being connected to the tie-rod (12) for exert a traction onto the bush (20) to be extracted with two projections (18) capable of being inserted in the slits (16) when the traction bracket (15) is inserted in the short pipe (11), a tie-rod stopping element (24), a short pipe stopping element (25), and bracket stopping elements (26) when inserting the bush (20); such device (10) is used for extracting and for inserting the bush (20) in a seat (35) using a traction device (28) blocked against the short pipe (11) by the tie-rod stopping element (24) connected to the tie-rod (12).
Bearing closure device and method for operating the same
A bearing closure device has a externally threaded ring that can be slid onto a roll journal. One stop close to the roll barrel and one stop away from the roll barrel are provided on the roll journal in order to limit the axial movement of the threaded ring. A ring nut with an internal thread is screwed onto the external thread of the threaded ring. To facilitate safe screwing on and unscrewing of the ring nut and to keep screws pressure-free during the operation of the bearing a pressure ring is mounted between the bearing and the threaded ring in an axially displaceable manner. In addition, a plurality of screws can be screwed into axial threaded bores in the threaded ring in order to press against the pressure ring in the axial direction. Finally, the ring nut can be screwed or adjusted against the pressure ring.
