Heavy duty bearing race remover
A bearing race remover is provided that can be utilized in the removal of bearing race elements of bearing assemblies of vehicles of Class 1 through Class 8 designations. The bearing race remover is formed of a puller base, a compression member, and a bearing race engagement extension. The puller base has a cylindrical hub having radially disposed vanes forming an engagement collar to contact impinge against a wheel hub. The radially disposed vanes are to engage race engagement protuberances in a self centering manner to engage within the bearing race. Downward or upward movement of the compression member imparts a removal or insertion force onto a bearing race in order to release or reinsert the bearing race into the wheel hub.
HYDRAULIC TOOLS
A hydraulic tool for working on a workpiece. A housing is configured for holding. A motor is positioned in the housing. A battery is supported by the housing and operable to supply power to the motor. A drive mechanism is supported by the housing and includes a cylinder, a piston moveably supported in the cylinder, and a pump powered by the motor and operable to supply hydraulic fluid to the cylinder to move the piston relative to the cylinder. A jaw member is supported by the housing and configured to engage with the workpiece. A spindle is operatively coupled to the drive mechanism such that operating the drive mechanism moves the spindle relative to the jaw member to work on the workpiece.
Truck anchor pin bushing driver
A tool for use in combination with an air hammer for removing and/or installing an anchor pin bushing. The tool includes a drive shaft and an adaptor that is removably attachable to the drive shaft. A first end of the drive shaft is configured for removable attachment to an air hammer. A second end of the drive shaft is configured for removable attachment with the adaptor. The adaptor includes a flanged end and a notched end. Both the flanged end and notched end include a counterbore sized and configured to fit over an anchor pin. The notched end of the adaptor is used for removing an anchor pin bushing and the flanged end of the adaptor is used to install an anchor pin bushing.
Hydraulic pancake jack
The present invention provides an apparatus, system and method for replacing seats utilizing a hydraulic pancake jack that may be utilized with a valve seat puller, which may include an air return system and or a spring return system.
Systems and methods for steam ring heating for bearing removal from shaft
Systems and methods for removing a bearing assembly from a shaft include a steam ring, the steam ring being a ring shaped member. The steam ring has an inner bore sized to circumscribe the shaft. A lip ring extends from a first end face of the steam ring and has an inner diameter length that is greater than an outer diameter length. A steam inlet port extends through a sidewall of the steam ring. A steam outlet port extends through the sidewall of the steam ring at a location spaced apart from the steam inlet port.
INDUSTRIAL FAN BUSHING REPLACEMENT TOOL
A bushing installation tool having a plurality of spacer rods with first and second ends and a pressure plate mounted to the first ends of the spacer rods. A first base includes portions configured to engage an end of a cylindrical bushing and to restrain radial expansion of a cylindrical bushing received. The bushing installation tool has a first stage in which the first base being releasably engage with the second ends of the spacer rods. A second base including portions configured to engage the end of the cylindrical bushing and to permit radial expansion of the cylindrical bushing engaged therewith. The second base also including portions configured to releasably engage the second ends of the spacer rods and being alternatively interchangeable with the first base. The bushing installation tool includes a second stage in which the second base is releasably engaged with the second ends of the spacer rods.
Bearing race installer/remover
A puller/installer comprises a draw plate, a split ring, a cap plate, and at least one draw member. The draw plate defines a draw plate cam surface. The split ring defines at least one split plate cam surface and is arranged such that the at least one split plate cam surface is in contact with the draw plate cam surface. The at least one draw member is arranged to draw the cap plate and the draw plate towards each other such that the draw plate cam surface engages the at least one split plate cam surface to deform the split ring to alter an effective diameter of the bearing race puller/installer.
Load Coupling
In a first aspect there is disclosed a load coupling (10). The load coupling (10) comprises a first coupling member (12) operatively associated with an actuator. The first coupling member has a first coupling formation (16). The load coupling (10) further comprises a second coupling member (14) adapted for operative coupling with the first coupling member (12). The second coupling member (14) includes an attachment formation (15) operatively adapted to attach the second coupling member (14) to a target component to which force generated by the actuator is to be transferred. The second coupling member (14) defines a second coupling formation (24) operatively associated with the first coupling formation (16) of the first coupling member (12). The first coupling formation (16) has (i) a secure orientation relative to the second coupling formation (24) in which the first coupling member (12) is secured to the second coupling member (14) and (ii) a release orientation relative to the second coupling formation (24) in which the first coupling member (12) is adapted to be removed from the second coupling member (14).
Systems and methods for preloading a bearing and installing a tamper indicating member
An apparatus for use in connecting a cover member to a retaining member coupled to a nut mounted to a shaft includes a body portion, arms, and a plurality of pressing members. The arms extend from the body portion relative to the nut such that contacting portions of the arms contact a rear side of the nut to connect the body portion to the nut. The plurality of pressing members extend from the body portion and is alignable with the plurality of tabs of a cover member when the cover member is located between the body and the nut. The body portion includes a press mechanism configured to cause a first pressing member of the pressing members to contact a first tab of the cover member to deform the first tab toward a retaining member coupled to the nut mounted on the shaft.
Ball-and-socket joint puller
A dismounting tool for disengaging ball joint connections on suspension and steering assemblies is disclosed. The dismounting tool comprises an actuator having two receiving portions, where the actuator is operable to force two receiving portions towards each other along an actuation axis. The dismounting tool further comprises a first tool member having an anvil portion with an engaging surface and a second tool member having a bifurcated portion with a supporting surface. Each of the tool members comprises a through hole and are detachably mounted to a respective receiving portion such that the through holes are arranged coaxially about the actuation axis such that the engaging surface faces the supporting surface. The actuator is, upon actuation, configured to move the two tool members towards each other along the actuation axis.
