According to an embodiment, a work support device includes a measurement unit and an irradiation control unit. The measurement unit measures an in-passage structure of a passage inside of which a user can work. The irradiation control unit controls an irradiation unit to emit light indicative of a work region to a corrected work position obtained by correcting work position information set based on a predetermined designed in-passage structure indicative of an ideal structure in the passage by using a result of the measurement by the measurement unit.

The disclosure provides a work tool positioning system for a work machine comprising a movable work tool. The work tool positioning system comprises a work tool mounted at an end of a movable arm. At least one proximity sensor is provided for providing a proximity signal indicative of a distance between the at least one proximity sensor and an object in front of the proximity sensor. A processor is configured to receive the proximity signal and to calculate a clearance distance between a reference location on the work tool and an object in front of the proximity sensor. An alert system is provided for alerting an operator of the work machine. The processor is configured to activate one or more alerts when the clearance distance is greater than or equal to a first threshold unloading distance.

A distance measurement holder is attached to the main shaft of a machine tool. A laser beam emitted from a holder main body is reflected by a reflection mirror section fixed to a tapered sleeve, and reflected by a measurement target, and then received by a light receiving section provided in the holder main body. The tapered sleeve is fit into the main shaft and supported to be rotatable relative to the holder main body. The distance measurement holder is shaped such that the angle of a side surface of the reflection mirror section changes in accordance with the rotation angle of the main shaft. The distance measurement holder thus configured determines the distance between the main shaft and the measurement target to determine whether or not a jig, a workpiece, the main shaft, and a cutting tool interfere with each other in the range of a rapid positioning motion specified in an NC program.

Eye alignment assembly

A bow sight with at least one sight pin mounted to a frame assembly. At least one optical fiber is attached to the sight pin. The optical fiber is exposed to gather ambient light and to transmit light to a sight point located within the frame assembly. The eye alignment assembly includes an optical structure mounted to the frame assembly including a sight point of an optical fiber located near a proximal end of the optical structure and a lens with alignment indicia located at a distal end of the optical structure. An adjustment system permits the optical structure to be reoriented relative to the frame assembly. The eye alignment assembly provides an indication of orientation of the shooter relative to the bow in at least two degrees of freedom.
