Folding knife
A folding knife includes first and second scales and a blade having a tang and a cutting edge. The tang pivotally connects the blade between the first and second scales. The blade has a retracted position with the cutting edge between the first and second scales and a deployed position with the cutting edge outside the first and second scales. An actuator between the first and second scales has a first position that locks the blade in the deployed position and a second position that allows movement of the blade between the deployed and retracted positions. A spring is in compression with the actuator between the first and second scales so that the spring biases the actuator toward the tang of the blade. A detent in the actuator engages with the tang when the actuator is in the first position and the blade is in the deployed position.
ASSISTED OPENING KNIFE WITH HANDLE PROVIDED WITH PUSHING KEY FOR RELEASING AND LOCKING BLADE
An assisted opening knife includes a handle with a pushing key for releasing and locking a blade. The blade is pivotally connected to the handle and has near its rear end a position-limiting post extending into an arcuate position-limiting groove in, and near the front end of, the handle. The assisted opening knife is characterized by the handle having therein a releasing/locking slide plate whose top side is provided with the pushing key and whose front end, a releasing/locking arm movable to a position near one end of the arcuate position-limiting groove. While the blade is stored in the handle, the position-limiting post touches the aforesaid end of the arcuate position-limiting groove and is locked by the releasing/locking arm to prevent the blade from rotation. The blade is rotatable again when the pushing key, exposed from the handle, is pushed and moves the releasing/locking arm away from the aforesaid position.
FOLDING KNIFE WITH REPLACEABLE BLADE AND LOCKING MECHANISM
A replaceable-blade folding knife configured for ease of use and ease of transportation in a pocket, bag, purse or otherwise. Embodiments of the present invention allow a user to alternatively open and close the folding knife of the present invention using a single hand. Embodiments of the present invention allow a user to replace a blade with commonly available blades without the need for specialized tools.
LOCKING FOLDABLE KNIFE
A locking foldable knife comprises a locking assembly that reliably locks a blade in an extended position for use. The locking assembly utilizes the surface area of a shaped peripheral edge at a second end of a blade, together with, confirming structures of a locking bar, and one or more stops to reliably lock a blade in an extended position. A locking assembly also locks a blade in a folded position in one or more embodiments of the locking foldable knife.
Knife
Provided is a knife, including: blade; a first hilt assembly; a second hilt assembly, the blade being detachably disposed between the first hilt assembly and the second hilt assembly; a connecting portion, disposed on the first hilt assembly; and a handle clip, disposed on the second hilt assembly, wherein a position of the connecting portion is adjustable, such that the connecting portion has a locking position connected to the handle clip and an opening position separated from the handle clip. The knife of the present disclosure solves the problem in the related technology that it is more complicated to disassemble blade of a knife.
SAFETY FOR ASSIST OPENING KNIFE
A folding tool with a safety lock mechanism. The tool has a handle having a first handle half and a second handle half and an implement pivotally connected between the handle halves by a pivot pin. The implement is movable between an open position and closed position. The safety lock mechanism includes a safety switch positioned between the first handle half and the second handle half and having two wing portions extending laterally from a central portion movable from a first safety on position to a second safety off position. The two wing portions configured to slide within wing grooves of the first handle half and the second handle half. The tang portion of the blade includes a scalloped pocket and/or protruding portion in the tang that is configured to contain the front end of the safety switch when the safety switch is in the first safety on position.
SHAFT-LOCKING FOLDING KNIFE
Provided is a shaft-locking folding knife including: a blade pivotally disposed between two side plates and having a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion, with the side plate each having a slotted hole and a pivotal hole; a telescopic rod unit with one end pivotally disposed between the two pivotal holes of the two side plates and the other end having a bolt disposed between the two slotted holes, the telescopic rod unit having a blocking portion engaged with the first engaging portion or the second engaging portion of the blade; and a control element disposed at an extensible rod of the telescopic rod unit and exposed from the two side plates.
Lockable tool with sliding scale release
A lockable tool with a sliding scale release is formed with a frame and a tool coupled to the frame with a locking mechanism to lock the tool into an extended or retracted configuration. A release mechanism is attached a scale on the side of the frame. The scale is coupled to the frame. The tool is constructed such that sliding the scale along a longitudinal axis of the frame automatically unlocks the tool from the extended or retracted configurations. The tool can open and/or close automatically. The tool, such as a knife, can swing open or extend out a front opening in the frame.
DUAL BLADE LOCKING MECHANISM
A folding tool including a handle having a first handle half and a second handle half held in a spaced apart relationship to form an implement groove therebetween. Two or more implements are pivotally connected between the first handle half and a second handle half by a pivot shaft and movable between an open position and closed position and lockable in the open position. The folding tool includes a closed blade retention system, with a detent feature (or hole) on each tang, a detent retainer spring, and a detent ball. When the implement is in the closed position, the detent aligns with the ball thereby retaining the blade in the closed position.
Thumb stud including tritium
A thumb stud for a folding knife assembly includes a body extending between a first end and a second end. A hollow passage extends between the ends, and a tritium vial is disposed within the hollow passage and extends between the first and second ends. A first lens is disposed within the hollow passage adjacent the first end and a second lens is disposed within the hollow passage adjacent the second end. The first and second lenses encapsulate the tritium vial within the hollow passage of the body and allow illumination produced by the tritium vial to be viewable through the first and second lenses to illuminate the thumb stud. In an alternative arrangement, the tritium vial can be replaced with a wafer which houses the tritium vial. In this arrangement, a pair of wafers are each disposed adjacent respective lenses at respective ends of the body.
