Lacrosse head pocket and related method of manufacture
A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING MOULDED PARTS
The present invention relates to a method and a device for producing moulded parts. Moulded parts of this type are used predominantly in automotive construction, for example as interior trim parts. The method and device according to the invention are intended to facilitate the reduction of sizing inaccuracies during high productivity and the flexible design of the cut region of the moulded part that is to be formed.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INSERT-MOLDING FILM MATERIAL
A film material insert molding method, includes an intermediate part forming step of forming a first intermediate part having an edge extending radially outward, the edge being disposed at and near an outer peripheral end of a final shape of a film material, a transparent resin layer forming step of forming a second intermediate part including a transparent resin layer, by injection molding, on a front surface of the first intermediate part, with the edge of the first intermediate part being fixed, and a substrate resin layer forming step of forming an insert-molded article including a substrate resin layer, by injection molding, on a back surface of the second intermediate part, the substrate resin layer covering a surface of a radially outer end of the edge.
VEHICLE INTERIOR MATERIAL MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING VEHICLE INTERIOR MATERIAL
A vehicle interior material manufacturing apparatus includes a preheater for preheating a raw fabric, a mover for moving the preheated raw fabric and including a stretching jig movable back and forth, a first mold into which the preheated raw fabric is inserted by the mover, a second mold having an at least partially corresponding shape to the first mold, and an injection resin introduced into the second mold, wherein the first mold includes: a base member on which an embossed pattern to be transferred to the preheated raw fabric is formed, a vacuum hole through which the preheated raw fabric is adsorbed onto the base member, and a spring core protruding from the base member and contacting at least a portion of the preheated raw fabric inserted into the first mold.

Method and Apparatus for Producing Primary Packaging Having an Integrated Septum and Primary Packaging Having an Integrated Septum
The invention relates to a method for producing primary packaging having an integrated septum characterised by: a) providing a septum, b) providing an injection-molding die having two die halves, c) positioning the septum in the injection-molding die, d) moving the two die halves of the injection-molding die to form a cavity corresponding to the shape of the primary packaging to be produced, e) injecting a material into the cavity via an injection opening, where the two die halves of the injection-molding die pretensioningly holding the septum, and a rim of the septum is overmolded by the material, f) cooling the injected material while maintaining a holding pressure, g) moving the two die halves of the injection-molding die such that the produced primary packaging means having the integrated septum can be removed from the injection-molding die, and h) removing the produced primary packaging having the integrated septum from the injection-molding die.
CAPSULE FOR PREPARING A BEVERAGE
Capsule intended for receiving a substance for preparing a beverage using a coffee machine or infusion machine, to be held by a piston during the passage of the extracting liquid after piercing of the base by the pins of the piston. The capsule made from injected plastic material has a base (1) and a side wall (3) together forming part of a frustrum of a cone, as well as a rim (4) covered by a lid (5) after the filling of the capsule with the substance. The side wall (2) is shaped as a single cone frustrum between the rim (3) and the open (12) base (1), formed as a flattened ring (11), connected to the side wall (2). The side wall (2) is covered by a label (23) and the open base (1), including the ring (11) thereof, is covered by a sealed lid (14) inside the base.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COMPOSITE MOLDED BODY
A method of manufacturing a composite molded body includes a first step of introducing an FRP base material into a mold via a slit part provided in the mold, and inserting the FRP base material along a mold cavity; and a second step of injecting a molten thermoplastic resin composition A into the mold cavity to form the FRP base material into a three-dimensional shape and integrate the injected thermoplastic resin composition A and the FRP base material. The method makes it possible to easily and accurately mold a composite molded body of which a desired portion is efficiently and accurately reinforced in the same mold.
