CATHETER
A catheter includes: a catheter shaft; and a hub on a proximal side of the catheter shaft. The catheter shaft includes a shaft inner surface inclined portion at a proximal portion, the diameter of which increases proximally such that the shaft inner surface inclined portion forms an angle with the catheter central axis. The hub includes a first hub inner surface inclined portion continuous from the shaft inner surface inclined portion and inclined at the same inclination angle as the shaft inner surface inclined portion, and a second hub inner surface inclined portion proximal of the first hub inner surface inclined portion. The second hub inner surface inclined portion inclination angle differs from the first hub inner surface inclined portion inclination angle. The hub does not cover an inner peripheral surface of the catheter shaft in an interlock portion in which the catheter shaft and the hub are interlocked together.
INJECTION MODLING METHODS, TOOLING, AND PRODUCTS
The present disclosure pertains to injection molding methods, tooling, and products. An example injection molding tool that can be used to create both a part with an aperture and a part without an aperture. The injection molding tool has a first portion; a second portion; a first insert installed on the first portion, the insert comprising a protrusion that creates a gap relative to a sidewall of the second portion when the first portion and the second portion are closed to form an injection molding tool; and a material source that flows material into the injection molding tool, the material having a melt flow rate that is below a melt flow rate threshold to create a first part with an aperture due to the presence of the protrusion and the gap, wherein the aperture has no flashing.
Rolling bearing cage, rolling bearing, and method of manufacturing rolling bearing cage
A cage includes: an annular body having pocket holes for receiving balls; and a resin portion formed through injection molding of a resin containing a solid lubricant with the body being set as an insert component. The resin portion includes: first parts formed along inner peripheral surfaces of the pocket holes of the body to form pocket surfaces to be held in sliding contact respectively with the balls; and a second part formed along an outer peripheral surface (or inner peripheral surface) of the body to form a guide surface to be held in sliding contact with an outer ring (or inner ring). The first parts and the second part are formed integrally with each other. Weld lines of the resin portion are formed at positions of avoiding exposure of the weld lines at both end portions of the pocket surfaces in a cage circumferential direction.
PLASTIC INJECTION OVERMOLDED CONDUCTOR PATH STRUCTURE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE PLASTIC INJECTION OVERMOLDED CONDUCTOR PATH STRUCTURE
A plastic injection overmoulded conductor path structure is disclosed, wherein the conductor paths are entirely surrounded, apart from their connections, by a housing made of plastic, said housing comprising first housing sections produced in a first injection moulding process (pre-injection overmoulding), and second housing sections which directly adjoin the first housing sections via a contact surface, and which are produced in a second injection moulding process (main injection overmoulding). The housing is provided with at least one recess of a defined shape and size, in the region of the contact surface.
Open cavity plastic package
A method for manufacturing open cavity integrated circuit packages, the method comprising: placing a wire-bound integrated circuit in a mold; forcing a pin to contact a die of the wire-bound integrated circuit by applying a force between the pin and the mold; injecting plastic into the mold; allowing the plastic to set around the integrated circuit to form a package having an open cavity defined by the pin; and removing the open cavity integrated circuit package from the mold. A mold for forming a package for an integrated circuit sensor device, comprising: a bottom part for supporting an integrated circuit die; a top part that is operable to be placed on top of said bottom part to form a cavity into which a plastic material can be injected to form the package, wherein the top part of the mold comprises a spring-loaded pin arrangement comprising a cover that covers a sensor area on the integrated circuit die and provides for an opening when the plastic material is injected.
Method of making a golf ball with lattice reinforced layer
Methods of making a golf ball that includes a lattice reinforced layer, which is a layer made of at least two materials with different properties, includes various injection and compression molding steps. In some embodiments, the lattice reinforced layer is manufactured using a shutoff molding technique so that the entire lattice reinforced layer is molded in the same mold. In other embodiments, a grid for the lattice layer is formed first, then filled using an injection molding technique.
Mat seal for an electric connector and molding tool for injection molding of a mat seal
A mat seal for an electrical connector, including: a front face, a rear face opposite to the front face, and a plurality of passageways each adapted to receive a cable to be inserted through the passageway, at least one cavity in at least one of the front face and the rear face, wherein at least two first passageways of the plurality of passageways open into one of the at least one cavity, and wherein at least one second passageway of the plurality of passageways opening into the front face and the rear face of the mat seal.
MESH FILTER
A filter unit connecting a gate connection part to an outer cylinder includes a plurality of longitudinal ribs formed at regular intervals orthogonally to an X axis and parallel to a Y axis when a virtual plane orthogonal to a central axis of the gate connection part is assumed to be an X-Y plane. A plurality of transverse ribs is formed at regular intervals orthogonally to the longitudinal ribs and parallel to the X axis, and a plurality of rectangular openings is formed between the longitudinal ribs and the transverse ribs. By injecting molten resin into a cavity from a gate opened toward a cavity portion forming the gate connection part, the gate connection part, the outer cylinder, and the filter unit are formed integrally, the rib widths of the longitudinal ribs and the transverse ribs are made constant, and the shapes of the plurality of openings are made identical.
Closure and Injection Mold for Its Production
A closure is provided with a closure bottom that is designed to close off a container opening. A circumferential wall is connected to the closure bottom. The circumferential wall has an inner thread that is formed of two or more thread sections spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the circumferential wall. The inner thread has a thread axis. The closure bottom has at least one demolding opening and the at least one demolding opening overlaps at least one of the thread sections, when viewed in the direction of the thread axis of the inner thread. An injection mold with only a first mold half and a second mold half is provided for molding the closure.
