Pet Grooming Device with Flea Catcher
A device including a comb tool, wherein said comb tool having a body segment, the body segment containing elongated horizontal region, two side regions and a plurality of projections, wherein the plurality of projections are attached to said elongated horizontal region and lie between the two side regions; an attachment implement having grooved or slotted sections, wherein the attachment implement is operable to be engaged with the comb body; and a barrier insert, wherein the barrier insert is configured to removably engage the grooved or slotted sections of the attachment implement to trap fleas or debris during pet grooming or combing.
PET GROOMING KIT
A pet grooming kit may include (a) a canister having a handle, a canister vacuum port, and a screen through which air can pass; (b) a base having a latch configured to releasably secure the canister to the base; a clip; a base vacuum port that is fluidly coupled to the canister vacuum port when the canister is releasably secured to the base; a filter; and a vacuum system that draws a vacuum through the vacuum port, the canister vacuum port, the screen and the filter; (c) a plurality of tools; and (d) a flexible hose having a vacuum-engaging end that is configured to be releasably coupled to the vacuum port and that has a vacuum-end power connection, a tool-engaging end that has a tool-end power connection and that is configured to either releasably secure one of the plurality of tools or be releasably secured by the clip.
Universal handle, grooming or hair collection tools, and methods of use
A system includes a universal handle and a variety of tools selectively secured within the handle. The tools can be tools for grooming or collecting hair, and are especially useful with animals such as household pets. One example tool includes a mat breaker that is adjustable for left handed or right handed use. Another example tool is a fur sweeper tool and a fur accumulator tool. Other tools include deshedders, brushes, and combs.
Immune response modifier compositions and methods
The present invention provides an immune response modifier (IRM) composition that includes an IRM moiety and a second active moiety covalently linked to the IRM moiety, wherein the covalent link comprises a labile bond directly attached to the IRM moiety.
Self-cleaning Pet Grooming Implement
An implement to groom a pet's coat and remove shed hair by means of a modulated array of combs. The comb array graduates from coarse to fine, with respect to tine to tine spacing, row to row spacing, and tine diameter, in a direction opposed to the grooming motion. The tines, which are aligned to a curved surface, also have modulated length, row by row, from long to short, so that the combs collect shed hair from the base of, and throughout, the pet's coat. The aforementioned modulation enables the user to detangle and deshed a pet's coat using this single implement. There is also an integral self-cleaning mechanism, which amplifies the user's input, to produce a large cleaning stroke to remove collected hair, including the coarse region with long tines. The cleaning cross-bar sub-assembly has a minimal form factor, in keeping with the implement's lightweight and ergonomic design.
GROOMING TOOL AND METHODS
A grooming tool includes a handle and a head attached to the handle. The head has curved blades adjustable in at least an extended position and a non-extended position. Methods of grooming an animal can include selecting the length of the curved blades by adjusting the blades in at least an extended position or non-extended position.
Pet grooming assembly
A pet grooming assembly includes a panel that may be coupled to a vertical support surface thereby facilitating the panel to be accessible to a pet. An adhesive layer is coupled to the panel. The adhesive layer may adhesively engage the vertical support surface. Thus, the panel is retained on the vertical support surface. A plurality of bristles is provided and each of the bristles is removably coupled to the panel. Thus, each of the bristles may frictionally engage the pet thereby facilitating the pet to groom themselves.
Pet grooming tunnel
The pet grooming tunnel is a device that is adapted to brush hair or fur of an animal. The pet grooming tunnel is constructed of a ring member that includes a plurality of brush bristles provided on an inner surface. The ring member is supported in a vertical orientation via support legs provided on opposing sides of the ring member. The support legs are each vertically, adjustable so as to raise and lower the ring member with respect to a support surface. The plurality of brush bristles are concentrically oriented. An alternative embodiment includes a wider ring member wherein the plurality of brush bristles form a truncated conical opening.
IMMUNE RESPONSE MODIFIER COMPOSITIONS AND METHDOS
The present invention provides an immune response modifier (IRM) composition that includes an IRM moiety and a second active moiety covalently linked to the IRM moiety, wherein the covalent link comprises a labile bond directly attached to the IRM moiety.
System and method for damaging parasites
A method of damaging a parasite while being a resident in or on a surface of a body of a mammal. The method comprises irradiating the parasite with ultrasound radiation at a frequency of from about 1 MHz to about 2.6 MHz for a period of at least one second.
