Pet grooming appliance
An appliance for grooming furred animals including a tubular body part forming a handle and an airflow duct connectable to a vacuum cleaner, the distal end of the body part being flared out to form a head part communicating with the airflow duct; a comb assembly being pivotally supported from the forward edge of the opening of the head part with a comb orientated more or less normal to the longitudinal axis of the body part or tilted towards a user of the appliance to make an angle with the longitudinal axis of the body part in the range 90 to 60 degrees; the comb assembly being pivotally displaceable by various means inwardly from its the deployed position into a retracted position within the head part where the comb is exposed to and swept by airflow generated by the vacuum cleaner, thereby removing accumulated hair.
ANIMAL GROOMING TOOL
An animal grooming tool is disclosed that includes a handle and one or more grooming devices, each functionally similar to any of a number of standard animal grooming hand tools, such as a shedding blade, rake, de-matting tool or de-shedding tool. The ability to adjust the angle of a grooming device to its handle is disclosed. The handle may comprise a hollow body effectuating a vacuum nozzle attachable to a vacuum source and a mouth opening that spans the one or more grooming devices. The vacuum nozzle is positioned such that the airflow created by the vacuum source flows over at least one side of a grooming device. The ability to adjust the magnitude of vacuum-induced airflow through an animal grooming tool handle comprising a hollow body is disclosed. A vacuum cleaning tool for removing animal hair from a grooming tool is also disclosed.
FUNCTIONAL GARMENTS TO COLLECT LOOSE HAIR AND SKIN OF DOMESTIC PETS
A multi-layered animal garment is configured to aid shedding of fur from an animal. The garment includes a fur agitation layer comprising a plurality of fur agitation features to facilitate the shedding as the fur agitation layer moves relative to the fur and a mesh layer configured to retain fur pieces shed from the fur. Each layer includes at least one leg band configured to be attached to a leg of the animal. The fur agitation layer and the mesh layer are elastically connected to each other. The leg band of the fur agitation layer and the leg band of the mesh layer cause the fur agitation layer and the mesh layer to move in relation to each other.
ADJUSTABLE BRUSH
An example adjustable brush may include a handle and a brush head coupled to the handle. The brush head may include a platform, a first arm extending from the platform, and a second arm extending from the platform. A non-rotatable shaft may extend between the first and second arms and a rotatable shaft may be positioned between the non-rotatable shaft and the platform. The rotatable shaft may extend between the first and second arms. A plurality of adjustable teeth may be slideably coupled to the non-rotatable shaft and a plurality of spacers may be positioned on the rotatable shaft. At least a portion of one or more of the plurality of spacers may engage at least a portion of a respective one or more of the adjustable teeth. A rotation of the rotatable shaft rotates the spacers and causes a lateral movement of the adjustable teeth along the non-rotatable shaft.
TOOTHED PET GROOMING TOOL WITH FUR EJECTING MECHANISM
A pet grooming tool is provided with a fur ejector portion that is at least partially movable relative to the teeth of the pet grooming tool and can be manually moved into engagement with fur that is wedged or lodged between the teeth. The engagement of the fur ejector portion with the fur forces the fur from the gaps between the teeth. Preferably, the fur ejector portion can be manually moved by the same hand a person uses to support and hold the grooming tool.
Pet Hair Comb and Hair Removing Method Thereof
A pet hair comb includes an installation shell body having an air duct, a grooming assembly, and a hair scraping assembly, wherein a relative movement between the hair scraping assembly and the grooming assembly allows the hair scraping assembly to scrape down the pet hair on the grooming assembly, wherein the pet hair comb has an air pressure adjusting port which is configured to be switched between an unblocked sate and a blocked state when the air duct is in a negative pressure state for sucking the pet hair, so as to adjust an air pressure in the air duct for facilitating the removal of the pet hair on the comb.
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING HEAD LICE
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING HEAD LICE, designed on the basis of a base casing (2) comprising a drier (3) formed from a first electric motor (4) with an air-blowing turbine and a resistance (5), coupled to a first flexible tube (6) which comprises, on the distal end thereof, a detachable applicator head (7) with prongs (8) via which hot air is expelled. It also comprises a suction device (9) formed by a second electric motor (10) with an air suction turbine coupled to a second flexible tube (11) with a detachable suction nozzle (12), a dismountable filter (13), a very fine nit-removing-type comb (14), an electronic circuit (18), and at least one temperature sensor (17) which is connected to the electronic circuit (18) and determines the automatic actuation of the power-saving system on the basis of pre-established temperature parameters.
Anti-static grooming device
A grooming device for animals includes a glove and one or more grooming pads affixed (possibly molded) thereto. The glove is made from anti-static material, and may additionally be treated with a spray or solution, that is resistant to electrostatic accumulation and discharge caused by friction during the grooming process. The grooming pads include multiple protrusions that are used to cling to and collect extraneous debris and hair from the animal's body and coat. Due to the materials and the placement of the molded pad, the glove facilitates hand movement dexterity and reach. The device also allows the user increased tactility between the thumb and index finger by keeping them free of coverage by the grooming surface. The device may include a soft material on the back of the glove for grooming and brushing sensitive areas of the animal's coat.
Self-cleaning pet grooming implement
An implement for grooming hair of an animal has a comb support and an array of tines mounted in the comb support. The array has a plurality of generally parallel combs, and each comb has a set of regularly spaced generally parallel tines of similar size. In one aspect, the spacing between adjacent tines of a selected comb varies depending on the location of the comb along a longitudinal axis. In this aspect, as the comb support is drawn to effectuate the grooming of the hair of the animal, hair at the selected location experiences a progression in at least three stages from coarse to more finely spaced tines.
Grooming tool and methods
A grooming tool includes a handle and a head attached to the handle. The head has curved blades adjustable in at least an extended position and a non-extended position. Methods of grooming an animal can include selecting the length of the curved blades by adjusting the blades in at least an extended position or non-extended position.
