The invention relates to a portable cooling device for humans and/or animals, in particular a vest, a jacket, a cape, a coat or a blanket, characterized in that the portable cooling device (10) comprises at least two water atomizers, which are connected thereto, together with the reservoirs (2.2, 5) and at least two fans (2.1, 6), in that the portable cooling device (10) has a fixing device so that, when in use, a free ventilation and cooling region (11, 12) is formed between the portable cooling device (10) and the surface to be cooled (13, 14) of the human and/or animal, and in that the fans (2.1, 6) and the water atomizers together with the reservoirs (2.2, 5) for ventilating and cooling said ventilation and cooling region (11, 12) are arranged next to one another.

A protective garment for an animal is disclosed. The garment includes a body having a central portion, a first body flap extending from the central portion, and a second body flap extending from the central portion. The first body flap and the second body flap are extendable around a body of the animal and fasten to each other. The garment further includes a first collar flap extending from central portion and a second collar flap extending from the central portion. The first collar flap and the second collar flap are extendable around a neck of the animal and fasten to each other. Further, the central portion includes an outer surface that includes an array having a plurality of iridescent cells separated by a grid.

A combination animal harness and attachable garment includes a harness, a first set of one or more fasteners affixed to the harness, a cape or other garment, and a second set of one or more fasteners affixed to the cape, such that, when the cape is placed atop the harness, the garment is releasably attached to the garment by engaging the first set of fasteners with the second set of fasteners. A multi-layered animal garment is configured to aid shedding of fur from an animal. The garment includes a fur agitation layer comprising a plurality of fur agitation features to facilitate the shedding as the fur agitation layer moves relative to the fur and a mesh layer configured to retain fur pieces shed from the fur. Each layer includes at least one leg band configured to be attached to a leg of the animal. The fur agitation layer and the mesh layer are elastically connected to each other. The leg band of the fur agitation layer and the leg band of the mesh layer cause the fur agitation layer and the mesh layer to move in relation to each other.

Ergonomic protective cone collars for pets, their use, and positioning are disclosed. Such cone-collars may be made of two main sections, a cone-like-structure and an integral-collar that may be attached to a base of the cone-like-structure. The integral-collar may be collar like, intended to be worn and fastened around a neck of the animal. The cone-like-structure may be made from a plurality of radially-oriented-tapered-pockets, that due to their fill and/or material of construction may be semi-rigid, imparting a degree of inherent stiffness, flexibility, and/or elasticity. The plurality of radially-oriented-tapered-pockets may be of different lengths such that the cone-like-structure has an overall scalloped shape which may provide for several benefits, such as proper coverage proximate to the animal's mouth region and less visually obscuring material at the sides of the animal's head. A cone-collar may be positioned properly on the animal via removable attachment to a harness worn by the animal.

A harness for heating and/or cooling a wearer (e.g., a pet) of the harness includes an outer cover including a harness neck strap and a harness chest strap for securing the harness about the wearer of the harness, an internal surface having a breathable fabric material, at least one sensor attached to the harness chest strap, a thermal control device that cools or heats the wearer of the harness, a controller to activate the thermal control device, and straps arranged over an external surface of the outer cover.

An animal garment comprising a central portion including a front end configured to be proximate to the head, a rear end, a first side extending laterally in a first direction, and a second side extending laterally in a second direction. The first side, the first flap, the second side and the second flap are configured to extend around the mid-body of the animal and form a shape conforming to the outside of the mid-body of the animal when the garment is worn. The garment is configured to apply pressure to the animal to reduce anxiety, fearfulness, overexcitement, or a combination thereof.

The present invention relates to a dog-weaning garment device that can be worn by a mother dog while weaning her puppies. The device is primarily comprised of a body with at least one leg opening, at least one body opening, at least one pad, and at least one first strap that connects to at least one second strap. The device can be worn by a mother dog during the weaning period to protect the mother dog's nipples from being suckled by weaning puppies. The pad further absorbs any lactate produced by the mother dog.

A collar that provides a restraint for dogs or other animals from biting the veterinarian or pet groomer when the animal is being examined, treated or groomed. The collar is formed from a rigid yet flexible foam sheet of polyethylene with a recessed portion on one edge that receives the underside of the dog's chin for proper positioning and comfort as it encircles the dog's neck. A fastener at the ends of the foam sheet adjusts the collar to fit the dog's neck and also provides an easy way to attach and remove the collar from around the dog's neck.
