FILM HAVING LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a film having light transmittance and a manufacturing method thereof. The film includes a Polyurethane (PU) surface layer, and a thermoplastic elastomer layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer is disposed under the PU surface layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer includes color masterbatch material. The color masterbatch material is between 0.1-1% weight. By controlling the amount of color masterbatch material in the thermoplastic elastomer layer, the film of the present disclosure has real color appearance and good light transmittance.
Polymer blends for use in multilayer structure and multilayer structures comprising the same
The present invention provides polymer blends that can be used in a multilayer structure and to multilayer structures comprising one or more layers formed from such blends. In one aspect, a polymer blend comprises (a) a copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid having an acid content of 2 to 21 weight percent based on the weight of the copolymer, wherein the amount of copolymer (a) comprises 20-80 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend, and (b) a copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one of methyl acrylate and ethyl acrylate having an acrylate content of 5 to 30 weight percent based on the weight of the copolymer, wherein the amount of copolymer (b) comprises 10 to 50 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend, wherein the amount of copolymer (a) and copolymer (b) is at least 70 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend.
Glass-resin composite
A glass-resin composite of the present invention includes at least a plurality of glass sheets and a resin sheet which are integrally combined with each other via an organic resin intermediate layer, wherein, out of inner glass sheets of the plurality of glass sheets, at least one glass sheet has a crystallinity of 30% or less and a Young's modulus of 75 GPa or more.
Curative
An illustrative embodiment of a manufactured surface component may be comprised of a textile material on a first face and an elastomer material on a second face, wherein said elastomer material is bonded to said textile material, wherein said manufactured surface component is substantially planarly configured, wherein an area of said first face and said second face is from about 0.04 square inches to about 4.0 square inches, wherein a thickness of said manufactured surface component is from about 0.3 mm to about 2.5 mm, and wherein said manufactured surface component is substantially free of any petrochemical-derived plastics, petrochemicals, and toxins.
COMPOSITE LAYER STRUCTURE, DECORATED MOLDING ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
Provided is a composite layer structure comprising a first layer and a second layer. The second layer is disposed on the first layer. A material of the second layer is different from a material of the first layer. The composite layer structure is formed by a co-extrusion molding film process, and the composite layer structure has a thickness of between 0.01 mm and 1 mm. Further, the present invention also provides a decorated molding article and a method for fabricating the same.
GLASS LAMINATE ARTICLE
Provided is a glass laminate article including a core substrate having a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a side surface between the first surface and the second surface; a first metal sheet on the first surface; a second metal sheet on the second surface; a glass substrate on the second metal sheet; and an adhesive member bonding the glass substrate to the second metal sheet, wherein the core substrate has lower thermal conductivity than a medium density fiberboard (MDF).
COLORED FACADE ELEMENT WITH COMPOSITE PANE STRUCTURE
A facade element includes a coloring transparent or semi-transparent first pane and a mechanically supporting transparent second pane firmly connected to one another by an intermediate layer. The first pane has a front surface arranged on the light incidence side and an opposite back surface, at least one surface of the front and back surfaces has at least one structured region, and at least one optical interference layer is arranged on the at least one surface for reflecting light within a predetermined wavelength range. The structured region has the following features: perpendicular to the plane of the first pane, a height profile comprising peaks and valleys, wherein an average height difference between the peaks and valleys is at least 2 μm, at least 50% of the structured region is composed of segments which are inclined with respect to the plane of the first pane (2).
DECORATIVE SHEET AND DECORATIVE MATERIAL USING SAME
There are provided a decorative sheet which has excellent weatherability and in which white pigment particles are dispersed well, and a decorative material using the decorative sheet, The decorative sheet includes at least a substrate and a surface protective layer, wherein the surface protective layer contains an ultraviolet absorber, and the substrate contains white pigment particles, and wherein the white pigment particles are titanium oxide particles having a coating containing Al element and Si element and formed on part or the whole of their surfaces, and contain Ti, Al and Si elements in the predetermined mass ratio, and a water vapor transmission rate of the decorative sheet satisfies the predetermined condition.
INTERLAYER FILM FOR LAMINATED GLASS, LAMINATED GLASS, AND IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
An interlayer film for laminated glass of the present invention is an interlayer film for laminated glass, comprising one or two or more resin layers, and comprising a first resin layer comprising a resin and a light diffusion particle, in which any resin layer in the interlayer film for laminated glass comprises a colorant.
Stone slabs, systems, and methods
This document describes systems and processes for forming stone slabs, which may be suitable for use in living or working spaces (e.g., along a countertop, table, floor, shower surrounds, tiles, or the like). In some embodiments, the stone slabs may be processed by partially filling a mold with a particulate mineral mix, and preparing a top surface of the particulate mineral mix to received one or more additional materials.
